Restaurant Review: Ichiban, Delhi
Ichiban in Delhi offers a mixed dining experience. I tried the Garlic Cream Chicken with Schezwan Rice, and the food was flavorful and satisfying, showcasing a good balance of spice and creaminess. The portions were generous and reasonably priced.
The environment was pleasant, creating a comfortable setting for a meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, which added to the positive experience. However, the ambiance felt a bit old-fashioned, which might appeal to those who enjoy a classic vibe but could feel dated to others seeking a modern aesthetic.
Overall, Ichiban is a great place for a casual meal with reliable food and service, but the decor could use a refresh to match the evolving expectations of diners.

Food quality is fine, not that amazing in that price tags. For service, I want to mention one thing that once you will start eating, servers will come and check again and again your food availability in the serving dish. It was pretty annoying as we were there with my friends and in middle of the conversation, servers were coming and checking whether we are done with our food or not. Though I was ordering continuously still I don't know what exactly they were looking for.
Must have- Sushi Veg Tempura Roll
Okayish- Kothey Momo (Veg and Non-Veg both)
Price wise-It's bit expensive comparatively with food quality and quantity.

It is a good place to have dinner.. if you eat meat then you would have a variety of options.
I am vegetarian so can't comment much but whatever i ordered was good.

Great place to have Oriental food in Delhi. One of the oldest restaurants in fact. Must try Kung Pao chicken and their range of Sushi. But the pan-fried dumplings could have been better.

It's a small little place which probably holds about 50 people in total. I went before it burnt down so not sure how they have done it up again but if as before then the setting is completely fine.
I love the food here. Been eayijf at this place since I was a kid. I always always try one of their non veg soups and the ribs are a favourite of mine.

The famous Pandara road has some good places for food and post visiting ichiban I have some reservations.
Even though the food was good but not exceptional as I had hoped for.
A major issue lies in the service. They were too slow to serve and waiters were not at all accessible
You could only see them while they brought food. Had to wait too long to just order and then too long for the food to arrive.
Overall a decent place
