Ichiban Ramen

The food here is very good (at least what we have eaten there has been awesome)! We ate the Chicken Katsu Ramen ($13.95) and Sesame Chicken with white rice ($10.95). Each meal could've easily fed 2 people! Pricing is fair and portions are generous. Definitely recommend stopping by Ichiban for a good meal!!

I've eaten here about 10 times now. I've tried multiple ramen bowls and appetizers and I've found everything I've tried to be delicious. I'm so in love with all the anime character figurines that line the shelves in the center of this establishment and the themes that paint the walls. They have 3 TVs (small ones) that they play anime movies/shows on. Sometimes the service seems really dry and lacking in enthusiasm and is generally good as far as basic check ins, but nothing that screams "WOW I want that server next time I come back". Honestly I dont care, because the service is decent. I come back for the food every time though. I discovered this place in late June or July and it's hands down my favorite ramen shop. This is the largest ramen menu I've come across and the pricing for add-ons is easy to find. From the time I place my order to the time I receive my food is fairly quickly. I dont think I've waited over 8 minutes for my food, and that was at a peak busy time. The pricing isn't outrageous for the amount of food you receive. I love this place for sure!

I don’t eat a ton of ramen but my wife likes it. We went and I didn’t know what to expect. The ichibon is the most popular dish and it was pretty taste. You can make it spicy if you want and it’s not to spicy by any level possibly a 2 out of 5 spice level just enough to notice the spice, nothing crazy. Fun environment. Not sure what’s going on with the city of Tyler water but don’t get the tap water. Just get a bottle water or drink.

Thank you Ichiban staff for taking care of us 😊 we loved the vibe of the whole place. Thank you to our server today for being attentive but not helicopter-ing. From what I saw, they all seemed to like working with each other and that energy went out onto the customers. We had Gyoza and Takoyaki as starters, Chicken Katsu curry with udon tossed in a really tasty brown sauce, hibachi sauce maybe? Black Garlic Ramen with extra Bokchoy and Naruto Ramen with extra fishcakes. I liked that they didn't make you order everything all at once, they gave ample time before asking for entree orders after the starters were served and eaten. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea with boba and yum! My 12yo ate up everything until he was full. We definitely will be coming back with friends and family.

Fantastic visit as always. Ramen was delicious, the broth is always so flavorful. Recommend for any day. Service was attentive, made sure we were set during our visit. Definitely recommend the fried bao's, custard or red bean

Came here for the first time ever. I tell you off the bat i love the lechee tea. Had the fried calamari appetizer and the chicken curry and the food came out fast and delicious. Defined would come back.

I eat here regularly, but I typically do the Ramen bowls. I like mine spicy and they know how to do that for me. If you’re new to this restaurant and want Ramen, I might suggest the Dan-Dan, Spicy Curry, The Black Garlic, Birria Ramen, or the Chipotle Chicken Ramen. But what I want to review here is the Katsu Chicken Curry. Tender and juicy chicken cutlet on the inside, crispy and crunchy on the outside with this delicious flavor. Comes pre-cut and it’s so tender you can cut it with a fork— which is great cause they don’t give you a knife! And then there’s the tangy but not over the top curry sauce over it, and it comes with rice. The textures and flavors are fantastic! It’s a whole Nother level! (Also shown: Ichiban ramen, very spicy)

Me and my husband are obsessed with this place !! We literally eat here almost twice a week !!! The service and food is always top notch . Please try this place out you won’t regret it .
