Unfortunately, this was the worst ramen I’ve ever had in my life. If you value a cozy atmosphere and care about the dishes your food is served in, this place is definitely not for you. Most of the food was served in plastic containers, which I find completely unacceptable — especially when some dishes came in ceramic bowls, a few of which were chipped and damaged. It was honestly unpleasant to eat from them. Even drinks were served in old, worn-out plastic cups. I find this not only off-putting, but also potentially dangerous to your health, especially when hot food is served in plastic. To make things worse, it was extremely hot and stuffy inside. The air conditioning wasn’t working, and it made the entire dining experience even more uncomfortable. To be completely honest, the food itself was very disappointing — bland and far from what good ramen should taste like. If you care about quality, health, and comfort, I do not recommend this place. Definitely not somewhere I’d ever return to.

Everything here looks good and tastes good. good prices and service 10/10 the fried rice here tastes so good, the best I've tried so far😽

Really loved eating here. It isn't very busy. Very quiet and relaxing. Food was amazing and delicious. Just wish they had added more noodles to the Ramen lol.

We had a group retreat here, and the food was great—Beef Donburi was my favorite! We forgot to ask for the receipt when we left, but the staff were super friendly and helpful. After we called, they kindly emailed it to us. Thank you for the delicious meals and warm hospitality. Wishing you all the best!

I ordered classic Char Siu ramen without adding or replacing any ingredients. It was pretty good. Thick soup with decent amount of noodle. Giving 4 stars just because I had a better one somewhere in New York, I guess. Otherwise recommend it. I like choose noodle type option. Will come again

I had the worse experience yesterday at thos restaurant. I usually visit the Maple Grove location. I was in in St. Paul yesterday and needed something to eat. I called and placed and ordered. After I arrived at the restaurant, I was taken back to check out. The price of the food was totally different from online. I pointed it out the the lady checking me out, she acted as though she didn't understand what I was saying. She asked to see, I showed her, and she got quite and said, have nice day. The portion of the food was not worth the money at. ( please pics). I paid 35 dollars for nothing. Even the drink size for the price was small. Never going there again.

I ordered for delivery so I can’t review atmosphere. I was excited because this had great reviews. I got the vegetable ramen, harumaki & crab jalapeño. Everything was just ok I wish the broth had more flavor and when you order an egg you get a whole egg instead of just half.

Google
One of the better ramen places in the Minneapolis area. Highly recommend the tonkotsu broth ramen. Lots of noodles, sweet tasty pork and super flavorful broth. The sushi rolls are also tasty!

Yelp
Solidly delicious food - especially goes with the-13 degrees on MLK day! Was very pleasantly surprised by just how GOOD the food we ate was! We started with the short-ribs - thin slices of succulently seasoned and marinated nibbles of goodness! Smallish - but perfect for two to share. We also had the seasoned cucumber salad which had a little after-bite of heat, but in a "Minnesota-appropriate" way. It was cool and "hot" and a refreshing contrast to the other dishes! Hubby had the Chicken Ramen - flavorful with crispy chicken on top and he added ginger and bamboo shoots for an extra kick and crunch. I had the "signature ramen" (Char Siu) and it was REALLY good and tasty! The pork broth and noodles with the three pork belly medallions and half of a soft-boiled egg were incredible! The service (we were in for lunch) was friendly and punctual. Highly recommended!!

Yelp
I have to give this a 5 because of how often I order it. I prefer it to most other takeout-style ramens! I've definitely had others that are a tier above this at sit-down restaurants, but this place hits a certain craving! I have tried their other menu items, but I primarily order ramen from this place. Their Crab Jalapeños are delicious too! Whether you order the Char Siu, Spicy Miso, or any others, you're in for a solid meal! Super fast service if you order delivery or takeout, and several locations! Easily customizable if you crave those extra fish cakes!

Yelp
1) The wait wasn't very long. We were there 2 hours before closing so it wasn't busy. 2) My hubby forgot to let me try some of his teriyaki ramen and I can't trust his judgment because he just scarfs stuff down, but he said it was "good". Not a yelp worthy description but whatever haha 3) My ramen, which he did try, was really tasty and the chicken of course was perfect!

Yelp
My parents lived in Japan for a while and are always looking for ramen that lives up to what they experienced there so we gave Ichiddo a try while they were in town visiting. We went on a Monday night and it was super easy to get a table, the service was fast and friendly. I really enjoyed the decor as well. My parents both got the Char Shiu ramen and weren't blown away but thought it was good ramen compared to other places in the U.S. They wished the broth had been a little stronger. I got the Crispy Chicken ramen and really enjoyed it! I thought the broth was good and was chicken was cooked so well I was craving just a plate of that. I'd definitely go back!

Yelp
Yummy noodle spot! They have a good selection of different types of ramen. The broth is really flavorful & the meat is sooo good! Def recommend ordering extra meat toppings. You can't go wrong with ramen or udon. Both were very good! The service was great. We received our food very quickly and the server was very sweet. The place was very quiet and chill. Worth the visit if you are near the area. It's right next to the MIA! :D

Yelp
This was the saddest most awful crispy chicken ramen. It's not chicken breast as pictured in the menu item, and it's not even a full portion. It tasted terrible and wasn't crispy at all. Plus the Raman was undercooked. Just terrible. I wish I could give this negative stars. Go take lessons in cooking from the Ichiddo in Minnetonka.
google avatar

Yelp
It was a little hard finding this place, it doesn't seem to be easily identified, we walked into what looked like an Asian store. This space is huge! There are so many menu choices but I don't think you can go wrong with anything. We ordered ramen and some jalepeno peppers. The ramen was delicious and I was hesitant with the peppers but was pleasantly surprised and impressed.

Yelp
Somehow I always forget they're closed on Wednesdays. Apart from that! Great ramen. Generous portion and you won't leave hungry that's for sure. Big dining space: have never had to wait for a table. I wish the ramen came with more meat. Whether their signature char siu, spicy miso or beef ramen, it's always a minimal amount of protein. Apart from that, wonderful. When I'm craving good ramen, this is where I go, and where I order from!

Yelp
ichido is one of my go to places. their steamed buns have such amazing flavor, and I crave them all the time. The Ramen is so hearty and flavorful. servers are always kind.

Yelp
SO GOOD. The noodles were cooked perfect and the broth was flavorful. Our food came out within 15 minutes. Dreaming of this bowel of ramen.

Yelp
Really great ramen menu! Always worth the visit and the restaurant is well setup for small private couples as well as larger groups.

Yelp
Fast service, fresh produce. Noodles were al dente. Char siu was tender and lean. Portions generous.

Yelp
Probably the best ramen in Minneapolis. We live pescatarian options. Age tofu is great with moving fish flakes.

Yelp
Ichiddo is a Japanese chain that has a handful of locations in Minnesota and a couple other states. They have a vegetable ramen ($14) that can be made vegan upon request. The menu is confusing and their online ordering doesn't have an explicit "make vegan" option, so I actually ordered in-person. I wish their online ordering were clearer and inspired more trust. Each additional add-on costs $1.50. I got a measly cube of tofu for that price, so it's annoying that Ichiddo nickel-and-dimes you. The ramen was fine, but nothing I'll remember tomorrow. The salted cucumber appetizer ($5) has kick with sesame oil and Japanese spices; I thought this tasted more flavorful than the ramen. If you're looking for better ramen in the Twin Cities, I'd recommend Ramen Kazama or Tori (and its sister restaurant, Tori 44).

Yelp
First impression of the restaurant was not good. We were seated at a booth. The booth was not clean. There were crumbs on the booth area and it looked like it had not been properly cleaned. The table also had a few sticky areas. Yuck. We ordered a Beef Ramen, Char Siu Ramen, and a takoyaki. The takoyaki was not hot enough inside and there was a sparse amount of benito flakes on top. The beef ramen broth was unsatisfactory. It was not very flavorful and the only thing that saved it was the spicy sauce. There were only a few bamboo shoots and black wood ear mushroom pieces in the ramen. Very stingy with the toppings. Most importantly, the noodles were undercooked. More than just "al dente". The noodles were slightly HARD. Not chewy as good ramen noodles should be. The Char Siu ramen was terrible too. The broth had very little flavor, and the noodles were also undercooked and slightly HARD. I would rather buy instant tonkotsu ramen at the grocery store and cook it at home myself. It would taste better than what I was served at Ichiddo Ramen. I do not recommend this place to anyone who wants some good ramen. If you want undercooked noodles and subpar soup, then go for it.

Yelp
A coworker was looking for ramen and we don't work that far away from Ichiddo. I was happy to see other things on the menu besides ramen because I wasn't feeling it on that hot day. The space is huge and pre pandemic I have to assume it was filled or maybe is full at dinner. We were around 1pm and it was just us and one other group. We started with boba and ended up getting the wrong one so we sent it back. The honeydew was amazing and I would order it again. My friend got a spicy ramen and said it was delicious and he'd order it again. I went for friend rice which was good but I felt like it was missing something. We also did the fried tofu buns and they were awesome. I have such a hard time finding vegetarian buns in the cities. Overall I liked this shop. The parking lot made it easy and the lack of a wait ensured a quick ordering process and we got our food within ten minutes.

Yelp
Delivery Review: Look, the food here is good. They even deliver it hot. Why the 1-stars? This place uses a metric Shi-Ton of styrofoam. You'll eat burnt styrofoam and contribute to EXCESSIVE styrofoam usage which is well known to be an environmental nightmare. Literally...STYROFOAM for everything 4x tofu buns + 1 app = enough styrofoam to build a tiny home.

Yelp
Food was greasy and kind of tasteless, for side order black fungus super smal!!! I , staff is uninspired and poorly friendly! I saw her just plying phone . very disappointed , and soy sauce was sticky and dirty , I don't know how long they not clean it Overall too expensive for quality!

Yelp
The food was okay, I wasn't a huge fan of the vegetable ramen. The service was very friendly though.

Yelp
The fairy god mother has improved their offerings quite a bit! While it is better is has not taken over my top two choices but it's a solid number 3 contender!

Yelp
Soooo... i just happened to find this place on Valentine's day because my gf and I hadn't planned to do too much, but go see a movie and then stop and see a comedy show. Realizing we were going to be hungry, I went on the hunt to find some ramen and on top of that a spot that had an open reservation for 2 on Galentine's day. In luck, we found Ichiddo Ramen! Located on the corner of 27th and Nicollet, directly across from the new building they just erected in the neighborhood (if you're an old skool southsider). They have their own lot, which is a treat in that neighborhood and they have street parking as well. Ambiance: When I first arrived, it was basically empty, with only maybe 4 other tables with guests. by the time we left, the place was packed. LOL It has a cute look, nice décor, a full bar and happy hour. Service: The hostess was cool, my server seemed nervous or new, but was very pleasant. Food: Very memorable. Actually, I've been thinking about this place since Feb14th. Today is March 12th. LMBO I had a cucumber appetizer, with some type of seasoning (pretty darn good), chicken thigh pieces that were deep fried and Red Curry Shrimp Ramen (which was the special for that day) and all of my food was GOOD. My gf is vegan and enjoyed her meal as well. she ordered the veggie eggrolls and a veggie stir fry. She was slightly disappointed that since she paid for extra veggies, that they didn't just give her a mixture of extra types of veggies. LOL They gave her a heck of a lot of onion. I'd like to come back and try other things.

Yelp
Just solid Ramen, served ultra quick. I got the spicy char siu, which hit the spot on a cold Minneapolis day. Nose blowing spicy, lovely soft egg, good broth. I personally wanted a bit more veggies to balance out the noodles, a bit more pork too. But still great and I'd have it again.
google avatar

Myke D.

Yelp
Awesome bowl of ramen. Definitely worth a visit. I got the spicy tonkansu ramen. Very tasty!

Jayahasan B.

Yelp
Tofu bun - was slightly bland, Vegetable ramen was good, crunchy with its veggies Spicy miso ramen could be made into a vegetarian option, but meat can't be substituted with veggies apparently. It was pretty spicy, but couldn't substitute more veggies as it was being charged
google avatar

Angel B.

Yelp
The shrimp ramen was the dryest thing I've ever had. And the food was so bland I had to season it myself. Not to mention if shrimp is the first word in the title of the food I ordered maybe 3 pieces of shrimp just isn't enough. Even worse the shrimp was as hard as a rock. I moved it from two stars to one. I rather go back to pfchangs where they had hair in my food.

Yelp
We came here for a friends birthday dinner after hearing it had replaced the old ramen joint. The atmosphere is wide open to the kitchen with high ceilings and a back bar. It was not a problem for the four of us to get in on a Wednesday night. We walked right in and got to sit in a booth next to the window. The server seemed to be trying to speed us up, but we wanted to sit and socialize with each other for a bit. We ordered edamame and fried veggie egg rolls, which were average. Then each of us ordered a ramen bowl. I had the seafood ramen, which only came with 2 shrimp, 2 clams and maybe a piece of octopus. The broth had a good, yet mild flavor. My friend seemed to enjoy the kimchi with beef ramen bowl. I would give this place another try, but it is not my favorite ramen restaurant in town.
google avatar

Lana B.

Yelp
AMAZING. I mean look at this! The service was great, the ramen was great, the gyozas were great, even the green tea seemed better than what I make at home. I ordered a pot for my family, but I ended up drinking the whole thing. Parking can be hard if the front strip is taken, but not impossible. Stop in Ichiddo to warm up from the MN winter temperatures. The food came out quickly and was exactly what we needed.
google avatar

Yelp
It was alright. Food wasn't that great but service was awesome. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Check it out for yourself before you say no, but personally I don't think I'd go back.

Yelp
My friends and I wanted some ramen in Uptown, and was told about this place. Knowing that they are opening another Ichiddo Ramen in Dinkytown, I was down to go check it out. My Friends and I ordered a bunch of appetizers. 3 Gyozas, 3 takoyaki, one kara age (fried chicken), and one jalapeno crab. The gyozas were really good; it had the classic textures of the fried bottom and the moist top, and the meat was flavorful. The takoyaki was also good. However, this was my first time experiencing a takoyaki without any octopus parts, which was weird. The regular takoyaki flavors were all there though. The kara age was a really good appetizer too! Since it is a pile of small chunks, it was a great share; everyone was able to have a taste. I'm allergic to shell fish (yes I know I'm missing out), so I wasn't able to try the jalapeno crab. But, my friends said it was also really good. I ordered the tsukemen (dipping ramen). The broth was tonkotsu. I ordered extra noodles (extra $2.50), and one extra piece of chashu (extra $1). My tsukemen came. The broth was in a separate bowl, and the noodles, meat, and egg on a plate. I tried the soup first, and was unfortunately let down. The flavor was bland, and the broth was not thick. The traits of a tsukemen is a more concentrated flavor, and thick broth so the noodles can carry its flavors. I ate it with the noodles, still lacks of flavor. The noodles did not carry the broth well. Honestly, it was just a regular bowl of ramen, but lacks in flavor, and mimics tsukemen. What a let down. I tried the egg, and it was a good soft boiled egg. The chashu was quite small, but was pretty good; soft texture and good flavors. My friends said they liked their ramen though (we all ordered different ramen). I tried some of their broth, it was alright. Pretty good, but nothing amazing. Overall, Ichiddo Ramen was alright for me. Their appetizers are good. Their ramen, so-so. Don't get the tsukemen like how I did, stick to their regular ramen if you come here. But even then, their ramen is just alright. Good to fulfil ramen cravings, but not something I'll make my way out for.

Yelp
Walking down Eat Street looking for well, eats, we saw big posters on Ichiddo's windows advertising Japanese skewers (like yakitori). Sold! But when we went in and asked about them, we were told that they didn't have them on the menu yet, and our server didn't have any more information. Hmm. So instead we ordered takoyaki, seasoned cucumber, Tsukemen (dipping) ramen, and beef donburri. The cucumber was refreshing and savory, but it's a really simple dish. The takoyaki was good, but I'm not sure I like that their version is deep-fried and thus oily. The beef donburri was very well done -- the beef was very tender and a little sweet. Comforting! We didn't like the tsukemen ramen because the broth was a little bland and watery. Overall, the meal was a little hit or miss per item.

Yelp
$13.95 char siu ramen (extra spicy) FIVE STARS always a winner here at Ichiddo, the char siu (basically pork belly slices) today was particularly tender & melt in your mouth. Though I asked for extra spicy, the [chili paste] didn't add as much kick as I thought, but it does add additional umami & makes the broth so much better! The soft boiled egg is always perfect & the mushrooms add the noodles are chewy & bouncy. Absolutely recommend Ichiddo. Presentation is on point & service today was excellent. $13 yakitori sampler with tender beef cubes, chicken, shrimp, tofu & mushroom FIVE STARS this was freakin awesome! I'm not a huge fan of just chicken (it has to be cooked a certain way), but the chicken & beef was moist & tender, absolutely flavorful. I've never had tofu outside of soup, & this tofu was crisp on the outside, perfectly cooked & firm. Delicious!

Yelp
Never had a bad dish here + the customer service is great:) cute little spot for a date night or even a get together with friends. The menu is very friendly to people who don't have ramen too much and everything was appropriately priced.

Yelp
This is my favorite ramen place in Minnesota. Yes, I've tried them all. I come here every time I make a trip to Minnesota. My favorite is hands down, the spicy shredded pork ramen. The flavor in the broth, especially when you mix the egg, is so satisfying and hearty. The spicy isn't overpowering, it's just the right amount. The noodles, always cooked to perfection and not overdone. The shredded pork is flavorful and a good amount. I just can't get enough of this place!

Yelp
Came in last week on a cold Thursday evening around 5:30pm and surprisingly it was not busy! The boyfriend and I were greeted right away in Japanese and then seated to our booth. Menus were given to us and cups of water served a few minutes after. The menu comprises a variety of food ranging from appetizers to hot plates and of course, ramen! The space is spacious and there are ample booths and tables throughout. What we ordered: -Beef ramen for the bf. -Kimchi ramen (mine) -Crab jalapeño -Gyoza I enjoyed the kimchi ramen as it encompassed the flavors of both (lightly) spicy and sour. Very flavorful and delicious! I tried my bf's beef ramen and it was good also! You can definitely taste all the flavors in it. Has more of a miso-y, sweet flavor to it. And not much spice to it. The only thing with the ramen is that i wish the portion was a bit more and the noodles to not be as chewy or al dente. The crab jalapeños and gyozas did not disappoint either! I could definitely go for seconds on those! I docked one star because I feel that the service was kinda slow. Our waitresses probably came around like only once to fill up our glasses of water and ask if we needed anything else. They also took a little long to give us our check. Overall, a satisfying experiment and I'd come back again.

Yelp
I bought crispy chicken ramen at ichiddo ramen in mall of America and there was plastic inside it. This is unacceptable and disgusting!! I was halfway done and I decided to take the mushrooms out. Then I started eating, I felt something weird then I spitted it out and it turned out to be a PLASTIC!!! I could of swallowed the disguisting plastic!! I tried to email them about it but the email doesnt work!

Yelp
There are days when only a good bowl of noodles will satisfy. If you are having one of those, Ichiddo Ramen does stave off the noodleholic delirium tremens. I have checked this location out a few times now with consistent experiences overall. I like that there is a small dedicated adjacent parking lot and it is next door to a small Asian grocery store so access is easy and you can grab a meal and a 50 lb bag of rice for home use (lol, don't judge!) at the same stop. What I am less enthusiastic about is the price point. The food is good when you consider you are getting a passable bowl of ramen in the middle of Minnesota but the portions are not large and the pricing seems a bit steep (their ramen offerings range between $11-15) when you consider that within the same area (Eat Street), there are no fewer than 6 Pho shops where you can get a comparable sized bowl of noodles (albeit based on a different geographic genre) for anywhere from $3-6 less. Another example was an order of generic Fried Rice (very tasty but no meat) that ran $8. The portion was not huge, there was no protein in it save for a few scraps of egg, and the entire cost of the ingredients was probably less than $1 all in. Even if you factor in the cost of the cooking and serving labor, that mark up is a bit punishing. As an overall comparison, my tab to eat here with my family is about $25 more for an equivalent amount of food then what we spend at any of the neighboring Pho shops. I agree with the opinions of the other Yelpers on this site that have given this place high marks for their food. I found nothing to complain about with the quality or the taste. I just have a harder time ranking this place up so highly based on the cost. Perhaps I am not a ramen snob and do not understand the specific factors that go into the elevated price of Japanese noodles vs. noodles from other countries. But I also know that it does not make great financial sense to satiate my noodle habit here on a regular basis.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious and very traditional to real ramen! I love ramen and I have a very queasy stomach and this I had no problems with give it a try they have many options for different types of ramens with delicious appetizers and drinks

Yelp
I was craving some ramen and stopped here. Service was great, but the food was bad. Calamari for appetizer: for $6 I want more than 4 rings. the sauce was bad too. Beef ribs: again for $6 I expect to eat something, anything.. they were very tiny, the smallest ribs I've ever seen in any restaurant, full of fat only. there was nothing to eat. ribs tend to be fatty, but come on, all fat? I want my money back. Ramen: there's al dante and there's just not done. and the broth was not good on top of too rough undone noodles. Chow mein: just no. Cheapest chinese place will do better tasting one with half the price of $15. After $50, I am hungry and did not enjoy one item. I would not eat here. But the service was fast and good, so I am sticking with 2 stars. This may be a good place to drink, but I cannot with good conscience recommend this place for food.
google avatar

Chelsea S.

Yelp
I got the sweet potato fries, calamari, and the kimchi beef ramen. The flavors were there but the portion is super small. I guess they are one of the few ramen places in town so they can up the price and be stingy with the portion. They only gave me two small piece of beef in my ramen! And i paid extra for an egg and it was only half an egg. It was pretty empty on a Sunday night. Probably only two other tables. Service was ok. They never came to check up on us but they were nice. I'm not sure if i would come back here when in town again since the portion was super small.

Yelp
Casual, laid-back chain that offers a variety of Japanese cuisine, ranging from ramen to donburi (rice bowls). It's an "OK" spot as I've enjoyed a lot of better ramen elsewhere, and the things wrong with Ichiddo are just little things; their ambiance, the cost of extra toppings, etc. For our first time, my fiancé and I got the gyoza and chicken karaage to start. The gyoza was pleasant & crispy on the outside and cooked well on the inside. The Karaage was just fine. We were there mainly for the ramen so we were excited for our main. I ordered the Spicy Miso ramen, while my fiancé got the the Niku Soba ramen + additional Char Siu. First, we both agreed that the soups of our ramen was good. My spicy miso had a bit of a zing and well flavored, whereas his was more mild and subtle, but perfectly seasoned! On the other hand, I was not a big fan of my noodles. I believe they were chewy and slightly undercooked. We also weren't fans of the cost of their toppings that ranged $1-$3.50. Of course, if you want more then add the toppings, but the cost seems high. My ramen that I didn't think to add toppings came with tiny, sad pieces of Char Siu. I guess that's the incentive to add! The restaurant itself has lots of room for seating. Our server was pleasant and nice. I'd definitely recommend them to turn on some music as the lack of it made staff conversations and sounds of other parties eating very noticeable while dining there.

Yelp
Ehh. Japanese ramen isn't their speciality. The restaurant tries to advertise as Japanese ramen, but they don't it right. The owners are Chinese and the ramen has a more Chinese twist to it than Japanese. My girlfriend got the Char Siu Ramen and I got the Tan Tan Ramen. The Char siu ramen is suppose to be like tonkotsu, but soup lacks pork flavor and pork taste like Chinese BBQ pork meat. It's not terrible, but it's not really that authentic. I got the tan tan ramen because it was the cheapest ramen on the menu. I didn't want to spend so much here cause it didn't look good at all. I'm glad I didn't get the "Japanese ramen". The tan tan ramen was okay, and pretty much what I expected. Not great, but not terrible. I also decided to try out the wings here. They weren't good at all... They're not worth it. The wings are neither crunchy not meaty. They wings are tiny and barely have meat on them. Also they're drenched in this weird spicy wing sauce... and it's not good. It was like 7 bucks for 6 wings... Totally not worth it. I'd rather get the hot wings at KFC. The wings here are seriously lacking.. Tip: Check in for free char siu pork bun. Limit one per table though. I probably wouldn't come back here.

This was so amazing!!!!!! One of my favorite ramen spots by far. The fried chicken turned out great. It was crispy and the grilled chicken has so much flavor.

Yelp
Really good ramen. Got the Char Sui tonkotsu ramen with everything on it. The noodle was al Dante and the pork was so flavorful and tender. The only issue is that the egg wasn't as runny as I would like- a little on the dry side and guessing they had them prepared for lunch time and got dried out. So glad this place exists in Minneapolis. I was really surprised that the gyoza was really tasty- best in Minneapolis that I've had. There is a parking lot next to the restaurant with maybe 15-20 spots but there's also plenty of parking on the street.

Yelp
I've been in the hunt for a good ramen place so when I had a meeting in Minneapolis today, I figured I'd try Ichiddo Ramen. The place was pretty easy to find and had a parking lot next to it which is a good effort on that side of town since you usually have to find street parking. I got in around 1pm and there were only 3 other people in the restaurant. The waiter seated me and I ordered the wings and the Char Siu ramen. The wings tasted like it had been doused in Siracha and nothing else. No seasoning, no heat, just Siracha. Not my thing but if you like Siracha it's for you. The ramen was good enough. My egg was a little over done and the soup base could have had a better flavor but everything else was good. I got extra noodles. If I go back I'll probably get the pork bun instead of the wings and a different ramen. The food is good enough and the atmosphere is quiet, clean, and sophisticated.

Yelp
My second time back here this week alone. I loooove their pork buns. And the char siu ramen. I'm from Cali so I usually compare the food in MN to the food in CA but this place beats the ramen shops I've visited in CA by far. And they have awesome bubble tea! I had a taro tea that I loved!

Yelp
This is my favorite ramen spot in the twin cities just because I like my noodles spicy. It's definitely not Thai hot, but way better than most ramen places. We asked for a side of their spicy sauce (which is pure magic) and smeared it on everything. It's probably not a very Japanese thing to do but I love the burn. The food is great. We ordered beef bowl, char sui ramen, spicy wings, chicken karage, and a large side of spicy sauce. Ramen and beef bowl was about 4/5. Apps were like 3/5. If you add spicy sauce, then everything is 5/5 . Oh, and the husband said the beer is extra cold here. Best part is that we came on a Friday at 7pm and didn't have to wait or circle around for parking.

Yelp
My boyfriend & I love it here! The ramen is so yummy & the portions are huge. The wait staff are friendly and the food comes out quick. One of our favorite places to eat in Minneapolis.

Yelp
Ordered the spicy chicken ramen. Noodles were nice but the broth was extremely bland.
