For me, Ichiran is one of if not the best ramen ever. I know people will contest that it is mainstream etc., but its distinct, clean taste just fills my heart and tummy. It was also a milestone dining at the main restaurant in Fukuoka. We waited for almost an hour but it was worth it. Although the line was long, it was relatively fast moving since there are 2 or 3 floors for diners. First time ordering the marinated pork loin and it was really good. Ordered it when we were already seated so bring cash with you for any last minute orders. Will always go back!

We came here around 2pm on a Sunday afternoon and the wait was not too bad around 20min. They have the system down with efficient operations in all steps. Ultimately you're seated in an individual stall with 100% focus on the ramen enjoyment. The ramen and broth was certainly excellent but it's the eating experience where no other places can trump this. Worth it, at least at the main store in Fukuoka.

I visited the Ichiran Ramen during lunchtime, I expected a long wait. Indeed, I had to wait for about an hour before I could enter. I ordered the basic ramen with extra chashu, green onions, and an egg. The most impressive part was the rich and deep-flavored broth, which paired perfectly with the noodles. Since the broth is thick and flavorful, I highly recommend choosing thin noodles for the best experience. For the spice level, I went with the default option, and it turned out to be the safest choice. It wasn’t too spicy or bland, making it perfect for enjoying the broth’s original taste. I also ordered a matcha pudding for dessert, and it had a well-balanced sweetness with a smooth texture. It wasn’t overly sweet, making it a great complement to the ramen. I highly recommend trying it after your meal. Overall, it was an extremely satisfying experience, and if you ever visit Fukuoka, I strongly recommend stopping by the Ichiran Ramen main store!

This ramen is famous so I had to try it at least once. The prices are quite affordable, especially compared with my hometown. However, the portion sizes are too small and may not leave you feeling full. Be prepared to wait around 1 hour because there are a lot of people eager to try this ramen.

Queue for long long long time. No special soya sauce in this main restaurant. *** person view: try once is OK, no need to waste extra time waiting in long long long queue. 不外如是,名大過實!

Broth and noodles are delicious. Pork wasn’t very tender though. Even though it’s tasty it’s extremely overhyped - we arrived at 2pm on a Sunday and still had an hour wait. Wide variety of choices through noodle texture, spice levels, garlic levels, spring onions. Menus in English and other languages readily available. Definitely worth going to experience the service of individual booth seating etc but would be extremely beneficial to try and find a not busy time to go.

The Ramen is best Prepared to wait for 30 to 1.5h without seat and you need to line up for the queue. It could be better if they implement Queue system and allocates place for seat

Worth a visit. Avoid the peak hours. The queue can be very long. There are a few floors serving though. Not sure why the instant gift pack noodle is more expensive than other places.
