Amazing experience. We did the short horse ride on JJ, Conny and I forget the others. Our 11 and 6 year old loved it. It was quite dusty due to the humidity but altogether such a great experience for my family and I. It was my youngest first time and after a little terror tantrum, we were offf to the races. The horses know what’s up and are basically on auto pilot so don’t let that stress you out. Our guide put on a guideline from our 6 year olds horse, JJ, to her own so that she had complete control. We seen a couple doe and a couple young buck on our journey. Dress light it was terribly hot in mid July. We reserved in advance but did not pay. The system was a little slow but no sweat honestly. We came up to take a wrap off our day to day lives and this was a perfect close to our Leavenworth experience.

I did the 4 mile horse back ride with Bailey and Emma. I was able to ride Cookie, who was a very smart and sure footed mare. She took care of me on the ride and was a sweet girl. These horses are well cared for and maintained. Their hooves are in solid shape and they have adequate body fat. These folks care about their horses and treat them well.

Went here for my daughter's birthday. Our guide was very nice and answered all of our questions about horses. They care about their horses and even rescue some. That was so nice for me to see! I'm 185 pounds and have ridden horses many times. Two other companies in the area said no due to my height and weight ratio. Thanks to icicle outfitters, I was able to take my daughter for a nice birthday ride. I am by no means too big. The scenery was beautiful and they are very decently priced. I will be back for sure!

We been to enjoy horse sleigh rides in snow and we throughly enjoyed it. The roads from Leavenworth down town to this place was slippery but we managed to drive safely. Friendly staff and free hot cocoa/ coffee / apple juice after ride with warm shelter. Though it was a walk-in they were pretty quick to arrange a ride. Overall it was a superb fun event for our family.

Wonderful even when raining. Love the cozy tent with the stove top and cider or hot chocolate drinks after the ride. Got the pet the hours and even learn about the surrounding mountains

My family had a blast on our sleigh ride! I had made a reservation in September for a mid- December ride. We were on a Christmas vacation in Leavenworth and this seemed like a great experience. Our family of five was on a sleigh with one other family of four. Our mid December ride was definitely cold (25° that day) but the wool blankets and hot chocolate in the heated tent made it doable. Our guide (can’t remember his name, but you can see him in one of our pictures) was awesome! He made great conversation and told bits about his life/work that was interesting. Our guide also snapped some great pictures for us! I spoke briefly with another guide and the lady at the “office” and they were both very friendly, great people. From other online photos I thought this would have been in a more rural location but it’s actually in a park. Regardless we still enjoyed our ride.

We visited Leavenworth on Jan 22. While having lunch called to check for availability, luckily for the 3 pm slot. Enjoyed the sleigh ride. After the ride, the complimentary hot cider was sooooooo good. My son enjoyed hot cocoa with marshmallows and sprinkles. If you are in the Leavenworth area, this is one must-visit the place

Personally, I had the most wonderful experience with Icicle Outfitters. I reserved a private sleigh ride for two and we were lucky that they just switched over to the sleighs! The ride around the farm and fish hatchery was absolutely beautiful, we saw some wildlife during our ride, and really appreciated how knowledgeable our driver, Jake, was. We also arrived a bit early and they let us walk around to pet the other horses. At the end, we enjoyed some hot cocoa around the fire pit and watched the sun set over the mountains. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect sleigh ride experience in Leavenworth!
