It was 10/10 experience. Although the space is not too big so they are just circling around. But I feel very magical seeing those view on sleigh ride. With the price, I can’t complain. I recommend this place if your party size is smaller than 3. It is affordable. The other place doesn’t sell individual seat. We just walked in and the waiting time wasn’t that long.

We went Jan3rd 2026. There was snow on the ground but not a lot. The website shows Sleighs being pulled by horses. Its advertised as sleigh rides. I called and asked about Sleighs rides. Im giving 3.5 stars because it wasn't very expensive ($32/person adults $16/kids) and it was about 30 min long but we were all sad when we got there and the horses were pulling wagons not Sleighs. I really wish we had known ahead that it was a wagon not a sleigh . When I called and asked if they were doing sleigh rides it would have been great to mention something like technically its not a sleigh right now because <theres not enough snow/insert reason> for a sleigh, but the horses are pulling wagons witch are similar. The kids were excited for a horse drawn sleigh and were let down by a wagon. We may still have done it but atleast I could have set the expectation better for the kids. My 5 yr old had fun regardless. The 12 yr old and my man child husband were the least amused. Its hard enough to get my man child to do something with the family so I try to make the things he does do with us memorable and enjoyable. Now add a animal loving moody pre teen excited for sleigh ride and instead sees a big Wagon and you get the point. Anyhow for the cost it was fine. The little fire was nice and the warm tent and hot coco after were a nice tough. The girls got to pet the horses and they looked loved and healthy except some need a ferrier, but overall didnt look in pain or uncomfortable. I would go again if we needed something to kill time and had money to spare. I was also a little sad about the route. It was basically just a figure 8 through a field at the hatchery. Not really what I w Hoped. The snow was pretty, icicles creek was pretty but otherwise pretty unwhelming views.

Went here for my daughter's birthday. Our guide was very nice and answered all of our questions about horses. They care about their horses and even rescue some. That was so nice for me to see! I'm 185 pounds and have ridden horses many times. Two other companies in the area said no due to my height and weight ratio. Thanks to icicle outfitters, I was able to take my daughter for a nice birthday ride. I am by no means too big. The scenery was beautiful and they are very decently priced. I will be back for sure!

My family had a blast on our sleigh ride! I had made a reservation in September for a mid- December ride. We were on a Christmas vacation in Leavenworth and this seemed like a great experience. Our family of five was on a sleigh with one other family of four. Our mid December ride was definitely cold (25° that day) but the wool blankets and hot chocolate in the heated tent made it doable. Our guide (can’t remember his name, but you can see him in one of our pictures) was awesome! He made great conversation and told bits about his life/work that was interesting. Our guide also snapped some great pictures for us! I spoke briefly with another guide and the lady at the “office” and they were both very friendly, great people. From other online photos I thought this would have been in a more rural location but it’s actually in a park. Regardless we still enjoyed our ride.

Tourist trap. You are basically paying $32+tip for a 30 min ride around with 20 other people. The sleighs were kept inside as well since there is not much snow right now, and they had a cart with wheels instead (this is early december). It also feels very commercial and not personal at all. Would not recommend

We visited Leavenworth on Jan 22. While having lunch called to check for availability, luckily for the 3 pm slot. Enjoyed the sleigh ride. After the ride, the complimentary hot cider was sooooooo good. My son enjoyed hot cocoa with marshmallows and sprinkles. If you are in the Leavenworth area, this is one must-visit the place

Want to pay $33 per person to ride around a parking lot for 30 minutes? This is your “adventure”. Enjoy the sights of chain link fences and rock piles, and the sounds of the fish hatchery right next door. I’m absolutely speechless. I spent longer processing what a waste of time and money this was, than I did on the actual ride.

Personally, I had the most wonderful experience with Icicle Outfitters. I reserved a private sleigh ride for two and we were lucky that they just switched over to the sleighs! The ride around the farm and fish hatchery was absolutely beautiful, we saw some wildlife during our ride, and really appreciated how knowledgeable our driver, Jake, was. We also arrived a bit early and they let us walk around to pet the other horses. At the end, we enjoyed some hot cocoa around the fire pit and watched the sun set over the mountains. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect sleigh ride experience in Leavenworth!
