I visited Sea Life Aquarium and went on the wheel, spending about 2 hours for the entire visit. I went on a Tuesday afternoon, so it was not terribly busy. My favorite parts were the starfish/sea anemone interactive exhibit where you can touch the animals, as well as the 260 degree tunnel view where you can see lots of rays, sharks, and fish of many sizes. I wasn't a fan of the curved viewing glass in many of the areas because they distorted the views, but otherwise, it was an enjoyable and educational experience.
The 20 minute ride on the Ferris wheel was very relaxing and private, and you get views of Universal Studios, some lakes, buildings, and construction areas. You can play your own music or listen to some informational audio about Central Orlando. There was supposed to also be audio about the Wheel itself, but for some reason, it wasn't available in my cabin. You can buy tacky photos of your group in front of different backgrounds of the Ferris wheel for $20 (or take screenshots of the free video compilation of all the photos). They look fake, but it is a souvenir option. The staff were very friendly throughout the experience, and the areas are kept pretty clean.
There are tons of other attractions I did not visit this time including an escape room, maze of mirrors, museum of illusions, Madame Tussauds wax museum, and a 7D experience. Many restaurants, souvenir booths, and sweets/ice cream shops (Sugar Factory, Haagen Dazs) are also in the same plaza. Overall, based on my experience at the aquarium and wheel, it was worth the trip, but it'd be a one time visit for me.
