Our experience at I.D. Jewelry lived up to the expectations of the fabulous reviews! We went in in on a Sunday without knowing that we needed an appointment and Yekutiel was gracious enough to take us in last minute. I was looking for a simple and dainty necklace and Yekutiel was so nice to work with and showed us various options. I saw the necklace his wife was wearing and she was nice enough to for me to try hers on. Yekutiel made suggestions about chain color and carat size and his recommendations ended up being on point! It is such a pretty necklace– pictures don't do it justice :) Such an easy and pleasant experience at I.D. We will definitely be going back the next time we go to NYC.

After shopping at ID Jewelry, my fiancé and I walked away convinced that anyone who visits NYC should experience the Diamond District at least once—and ID Jewelry was by far the best experience we had in any shop. While the people next to us were shopping for diamond tennis bracelets and massive diamond rings, my fiancé and I had a much smaller budget. Even so, the team treated us with such care and enthusiasm and truly made our dream come true. They found us a stunning 18k gold wedding band with diamonds for under $600! We actually came in the week before, left to think it over, and then spent the entire week worrying someone else would buy it. I felt incredibly lucky when it was still there waiting for us. Everyone in the store was so knowledgeable, and our associate Tina was especially kind, patient, and wonderful to work with. The team even cleaned our other rings while we waited, which was such a thoughtful touch. The only downside? I now have to wait until the wedding to wear it!

My daughter and I had rings made by I.D (it was my second purchase from them), and they turned out beautifully. I wanted a travel engagement ring, and she got a hs graduation/right hand ring. From picking out our stones, to the setting, and then having them made, it was seamless. Mine is 14k white gold and hers is 14k yellow. They took their time with us, and we had our rings in about 2.5 weeks. I will definitely be back!

This review is long overdue! As a long-distance and repeat customer of ID Jewelery, I simply cannot recommend them enough! I completely fell in love with their stunning anniversary rings when seeing reviews on Pricescope and although I live in the UK, managed to work with them very closely on creating both a yellow gold and a platinum one for me which have been gifts for special wedding anniversaries. Their quality, beauty and craftsmanship are just next level! I am so grateful that I have found them and have already recommended them on to friends. Despite living in Europe, the process was very easy and they checked in with me on all details every step of the way! An absolutely lovely and dedicated team and the most wonderful jewellery!

I recently visited the wonderful team at I.D. Jewelry in Manhattan to upgrade the center stone of a ring. I had an idea in mind, but Yekutiel had another, even if I was hesitant. Had an OK experience here. Definitely got a diamond that was way more affordable than what my jewelers were providing, so in that aspect they get 5 stars. It is a no-frills place, and i think that must help them keep prices down. I knocked one star because there are different sales associates and the difference in expertise and service between them is obvious. The person who attended us struggled with simple tasks such as finding the serial number engraved on the stone, removing it from the viewing tool, and had no insight or advice, only saying “this diamond is perfect everything perfect buy this one this one very good”, which is such a flat sales pitch that it was amusing. We ended up buying a stone that I think may have been too big because they did not have the exact specs in the exact sizes we specified in the appointment form. They said if you want to see something specific, then ask for a specific stone with those specs rather than providing information through the form, which I find confusing because I came here to look at different stones within the ranges I provided in order to decide, so I cannot decide in advance on one stone for them to source. So bear that in mind and call ahead to confirm that they will have what you want to see.

My finance and I had my engagement ring made here last Summer. The process was very smooth and service was great. The ring turned out beautiful (I always get compliments on it) and pricing was fair. All in all, a great jewelry option in the Diamond District!

I am a Pricescoper and therefore SUPER PARTICULAR about my diamonds and jewelry. I didn't get my original Diamond from ID Jewelry and in hindsight, I wish I had... however, I did get my final upgrade from Yekutial and couldn't have been more pleased. His pricing was beyond competitive, and the end result was GORGEOUS. I trust them implicitly and cannot wait to visit them in person for more goodies! Thank you Yekutial and IDJ!

Viktoria helped me over the phone to customize a set of lab grown diamond studs for my young daughter's birthday. They were delivered right on time and turned out perfect. Yekutiel and the rest of the team were an unbelievable help when I was searching for an engagement ring! I didn't know much going in but Yekutiel helped educate me and answer all of my questions. He also made the experience personable and did a great job of understanding the emotional aspect of buying the ring. This review is way overdue but extremely necessary...Yekutiel and the team at ID Jewelry are amazing. My now husband and I came in to get our wedding bands before our wedding after a recommendation from a friend who got a stunning band from here. We made an appointment but had to reschedule a couple of times (thanks Covid!) and there were no issues at all. When we finally went, we both had an idea of the wedding bands we wanted. I actually wanted bigger diamonds than the band I ended up with but Yekutiel recommended a smaller band because my engagement ring really didn't need anything too extra. I really appreciated that honestly rather than him allowing me to buy something bigger and spend more. I don't think that is a quality many other jewelers would have. My husband went in wanting a Tungsten band, if he had to get any band at all. Again, Yekutiel made a recommendation that he should get a white gold band because he deserves something fancy, too! And for a discounted price, Yekutiel gave him a Tungsten band--so the man who wanted no band walked out with two! Finally--My husband got my engagement ring from a different jeweler and while we loved the ring, it just wasn't perfect. Yekutiel took one look at it, told us how he would reset it and that he was going to treat it like it was a family member's ring. My husband and I were so excited to see the end result and it really came out beautiful. I get so many compliments and truly can't believe how it came out. With my original setting, a wedding band wasn't going to sit flush and I was kind of bummed about that. But once Yekutiel reset it for us, the band sits perfectly and I couldn't have asked for anything else :) So we got three bands and a completely reset engagement ring for an amazing price. We went to another jeweler before coming here and they wanted to charge us more than the price we paid for just my wedding band! We have come back here twice now for other pieces of jewelry--one was a necklace Yekutiel created using a diamond from an old family ring and the second was a Cross for a baby--so they can do it all! I have been doing business with them for years. I first heard about them by reading a jewelry forum online. I have bought standard pieces from them as well as had one piece custom designed. Everything has been absolutely spectacular and beautiful! Better than I expected! Their prices are incredible and the quality of their jewelry is amazing! Customer service is second to none! Picked up my ring and am very pleased with the end result. Pick up was easy. Israel cleaned the ring again, showed me the IGI inscription on the diamond, provided me with a final invoice, the IGI certificate and a ring box. Great service and reasonable prices! Now I am debating if I should upgrade our wedding rings.

I recently worked with Alina B. at ID Jewelry to have a diamond station necklace made for me. I chose this jeweler (located in the NY Diamond District) because of previous positive reviews on several social media sites. Alina was a joy to work with and was in touch every step of the way as the specs of the necklace were discussed and decided upon. The transaction was all done online so I never had to go to the store. I received the necklace yesterday and could not be more pleased. I requested Lab Grown diamonds (7 @ .40 ct. E, VS1 each) because they are less expensive and they look gorgeous. I shopped around for 6 months and ID had the best pricing as well. Retail stores came in at more than double what I ultimately paid. I wholeheartedly recommend ID Jewelry.

I'll be honest. Prior to our appraisal appointment, a part of me was wondering 'Wait, are all of these 5 star reviews real? because they seem too good to be true.' But after having experienced the customer service and knowledge/expertise of Yekutiel first hand, I can definitely see why they received so many glowing reviews. Not only was Yekutiel's appraisal SPOT ON, but the entire process was so fun & engaging for us too. You can tell that he's a genuinely kind & honest person who's not going to rip off his customers (another jeweler we were considering for the appraisal was going to charge us 4x the price we paid here). He also has a great sense of humor and it felt like we were buddies at the end. The whole process took ~30 minutes. If you have your GIA certificate and other relevant paperwork, do bring them in because it'll make the process so much quicker & easier where he validates the information for you on the spot. We'll def consider coming back here for our wedding bands :)

Israel, Yekutiel and Alina were a pleasure to work with. I purchased a diamond eternity band from The Real Real and wanted an appraisal separate from the store's appraisal. More specifically, I wanted to be sure that the stones were earth-mined diamonds, and not lab grown diamonds. I didn't have a scheduled appointment but Israel immediately made time to conduct the appraisal, which took 20-30 minutes, tops (of course, I knew he would not be able to remove the stones from the setting to appraise the ring). When it came time to test the diamonds, Israel and Yekutiel let me watch while their machine (not sure of its name) tested the stones, which produced the specific colored glow of earth-mined diamonds. The appraisal was $100 and gives me great piece of mind. (The Real Real has a 14-day return policy for the ring and most jewelry, I believe. I highly recommend I.D. Jewelry.

Part 2! Now that we're officially engaged I can reveal the ring! The diamond is so incredibly sparkly and the custom setting is exactly what we wanted. Yekutiel and his family worked with us through the entire ring process. He made sure that we got the best diamond possible within our budget, and worked closely with us during the custom ring design process. He was very responsive texting back and forth and sent me computer drawings before a plastic model of the ring was made. We've already selected my wedding band and will always come back for all of our fine jewelry needs. There's only one downfall to the ring... I can barely get any work done because all I do is stare at the gorgeous sparkly diamond all day ;) Thank you!

Baby Juju is getting married! My fiancé proposed to me with my dream ring. It is absolutely perfect. The design, the diamond cut, the fit, EVERYTHING about it, I love it! As always, the customer service is top-notch! A diamond recently popped out of my eternity band, which I purchased from IDJ, 9 years ago. We found the diamond, contacted IDJ, and within days had a quote and a plan. I shipped my ring to them, they quickly repaired it, but they also cleaned it up so well, it looks brand new! I wish I lived closer but there customer service is so good, I don't have to.

I live in Atlanta, GA but purchased a diamond band from IDJ recently. I spent a few months searching for a reputable jeweler for quality and a good bargain. I decided to move forward with ID Jewelry, and I'm so happy I did. Communication and Service -- I first reached out using their online form and I was soon contacted by Jonna. Our entire course of interactions were all done by email. Jonna was very responsive and helpful in finding me exactly what I wanted. Considering our conversations were entirely done online, I was very satisfied with working with Jonna and I felt like she understood and captured exactly what I wanted. Quality -- I have small hands, and wear a size 3.5 ring. I was looking for a diamond band that provided good coverage but with some metal left to show on the bottom so that I can resize it in the future. I was really worried about how the stones would look (and how it would look on my hand) since the interactions were virtual and I can't try anything on. When I received my ring (about 2 weeks after finalizing the details), I was blown away at the fire and sparkle of each stone. After this experience, I know I'll continue to work with IDJ for future projects and would recommend to friends and family.

All I can say is THANK YOU! Bought my fiance her wedding band from here. To say she LOVED it is the biggest understatement. Service, quality, communication - all top notch and amazing. I showed it to her just so we could check the size.. and she ended up wearing it all around day, constantly commenting about how much she loved it and didn't want to give it back (hahaha). We ordered a custom engagement ring and worked closely with Yael and Yekutiel. It was the best experience!! The two of them listening to all our requests and ideas, gave us all the diamond options we wanted to look at. We didn't really know how to even start designing the ring. They told us about what we should look at in the diamond, showed us both earth mined and lab grown diamonds, what setting elements we should consider. We eventually picked a beautiful 1.2 carat earth mined diamond. As for design, we had couple photos and ideas and they understood what we were looking for very quickly. Yael made sure that the final result matched exactly what we wanted. Overall we have zero complains and I can't stop starting at the ring. 5 out of 5, highly recommend. Yael is the best

I was a little nervous about a big purchase like this, sight unseen, but love my new 5 stone ring! I had been researching for months, and came upon IDJ from pricescope reviews. I'm so glad that I did! I ordered online but communicated quite a bit with Lisa over email. She was helpful and quick to respond. I just had my ring apprised at my local jeweler and it appraised at double the amount that I paid. Thank you IDJ - I am am excited to wear it!

I.D. Jewelry is on the second floor level of 47th Street, away from all of the hustle and bustle of the Diamond District. From the moment we entered the store, we had a strong sense that we had found the right jeweler to replace my lost wedding ring of 25 years. We listend in, as Yekutiel explained to a customer the differences between the loose diamonds he was considering. Yekutiel was so knowledable, patient, and was never pushy with the customer. Shortly after, my husband and Yekutiel hit it off immediately, discussing real estate and business, as if they were old friends. Meanwhile, Alina was showing me some beautiful loose diamonds to consider to use in the creation of my new piece. Once we saw his amazing prices, my husband said "Do It". We had already shopped around Madison Ave, as well as had two more appointments in the District, which we canceled. Since then, we have also purchased earrings and I am having a custom piece made for my husband for his upcoming birthday in November. We will never use another jeweler again! I can't say enough about Yekutiel, he's a gem in the diamond district. He's warm, funny. He's a gentleman and a scholar. His wife Tami is just as lovely. He was patient, educational, and thorough as he helped guide my through the process of buying an engagement ring. At no time was there pressure or push and at the end of the day I felt he was truly working to get me the best ring and stone for our situation. After I had a good experience purchasing some nice diamond earrings, I went back to Yekutiel for my now wife's engagement ring. Yekutiel is extremely knowledgeable and was very helpful through the entire process. He worked with my budget and a very specific set of requirements I had and found a fantastic diamond (along with a great setting). He even helped with a last minute snafu on the ring size (whoops...) to get it resized in time before my trip to Alaska, which is when I proposed. There are lots of shady people in the diamond district but Yekutiel is not one of them. I'd highly recommend ID Jewelry for anyone diamond shopping!

Last year they made me a great deal for a diamond tennis bracelet. - this year a new diamond wedding band! I've saved thousands - not hundreds - thousands of dollars! I'll be back next year for diamond earrings! SRL 2/18/2022: it took a while for me to get back to ID Jewlery because of Covid-19, but I got there and I finally purchased my diamond studs and a 3 karat diamond wedding band . As usual they saved me up to $10K on my jewelry. Service is fantastic! Tami is so nice and knowledgeable. The family makes you feel like you belong. I compared their prices to Jared and now I'm sorry I didn't wait to buy earlier purchases from ID Jewelry. I've learned my lesson. I could of saved $5K!

This family run business is such a pleasure to visit, especially compared to the other street level vendors of 47th street. Yekutiel and family are so kind and not pushy sales people. Yael is kind, nice and truly cares for her customers. Whether its a big purchase or small, they treat you with respect and want the customer to be happy with each and every purchase. They make beautiful jewelry and have a great in store selection and will be able to create or source something that you don't see and have it created in a short period of time with excellent quality and craftmanship. What do you do when your hubby to be says "go pick out a diamond necklace" 1 week before your wedding? YOU CALL YEKUTIEL !!!! Seriously - within an hour IDJ was texting me pictures of Riveria necklaces and I made a decision. The next day the necklace was at my doorstep . Highly recommend ID Jewelry. The customer service was excellent and worked with me to get my stone set! The setting was made way above schedule. They even organized for me to see the stone set at the ring designer which was a super cool process. I had a wonderful experience with Yekutiel of IDJ. I purchased a tennis bracelet online and he was very prompt in all his responses, made a modification to my bracelet and still sent it out the same day (I expected a short delay). The bracelet is absolutely beautiful! The diamonds are well-cut, setting and clasp are good quality, and it looks great with the IDJ eternity. IDJ came to me highly recommended by many and I am able to pass that on with confidence.

We bought our engagement ring with ID Jewelery and Yakutiel. I went to a number of jewelers and companies before landing on ID Jewlery, in both Miami and NY. The process at many places isn't what I expected, with many places rushing me and offering me fairly limited options, at non-market prices. Which is bizarre, because if I spent a fraction of this at Dior, they'd give me time, attention, and champagne. ID Jewelry was an exception, significantly. They took their time and made the process enjoyable. While Yakutiel doesn't look like a Dior sales rep, he's runs his family business reputably and I got a ring that I felt was fairly priced and beautiful. My fiancé wanted to make some adjustments and they worked with us too. As someone who spent a great deal of time looking into where to buy their engagement ring and went into a number of retailers, I'd suggest ID.

I bought my engagement ring with ID jewelry and the team was fantastic every step of the way. They answered all my questions and helped me design the perfect ring. I was stunned when I received the finished product, I had to then wait 4 months to get the proposal right but everything was perfect.

We worked with Lana to replace an older engagement ring. Lana was understanding, extremely patient as we tried on multiple settings (at least 3 trays worth), thorough when providing us with a much-appreciated education on diamonds, and communicative throughout the whole purchasing and payment process. Their team was expedient with setting and sizing the ring, and the turnaround time was surprisingly quick considering it was the holiday season! Israel, the owner, was very friendly when we picked up the stunner (photo attached). We will definitely be working with the I.D. Yekutiel and Fatima were so helpful in working with us to create a custom Salt and Pepper diamond engagement ring, providing several wonderful stones to choose from and educate us about how they would each fit into a ring. We then returned to them for our wedding bands and they were again helpful and very professional, helping again create a custom wedding band to pair with the engagement ring and a groom wedding band to go with it. My fiancé loves it! The ring was just as Yekutiel said it would be and made the process so easy... a big part of my worries and stress was taken care of with ease!

It has been a long while since I have written a Yelp review. However, I feel compelled to do so due to my positive experience at ID Jewelry. I'd like to start with my engagement ring. My fiance dragged me into this painful process of visiting many jewelers in NY as he wanted to ensure I'm completely happy with my engagement ring. We visited some so called "best NYC jewelers" based on internet articles/ blogs, and we quickly found less than desirable diamonds with poor light performance, high price tags, at times surprising limited knowledge and sales tactics. Indeed, as many have come to know, purchasing an engagement ring is quite a confusing process where you don't know whom to trust. After a few weeks of searching, we finally came across ID Jewelry. I must admit that I was skeptical initially. But ID Jewelry won me over based on following: I) First and most importantly, Knowledge of fancy cut diamond We were looking for an Asscher Cut diamond. From our experience, most jewelers either don't have enough experience with fancy cut diamonds (especially Asscher cut), so they couldn't help us find the best one or they tried to sell us a lesser quality diamond with a relatively higher price to make the most profit, so they ended up not being honest about the diamond quality they showed us. Since we're looking at a larger carat size diamond, the quality difference is very noticeable. II) Degree of credibility and professionalism Let's be realistic, jewelers are businessmen. But there is a degree of honesty that makes them trustworthy. Yekutiel was very open about the diamonds' quality. He mentioned some important qualities for us to consider when it comes to asscher cut diamond and characteristics that are less important. In the end, we picked out the diamond that is much better quality (on and off paper) than what we had seen from other jewelers and paid less than what others quoted us. III) Equipment/ Tool For fancy cut diamonds, ASET report is important which identify the light performance/ light leakage within a diamond. This is one factor that can greatly affect diamond price. (We met a jeweler who lied about ASET report being used only for round cut diamond! I also met another one that happened to be a top-reviewed jeweler who were bold enough to present a diamond with severe light leakage and quoted me a higher price tag.) A good diamond gives out a great amount of brilliance, fire and scintillation. As amateurs we often don't fully understand or are not aware of how to assess these characteristic, which is why a trustworthy jeweler is crucial to prevent being ripped off. In addition, Yekutiel from IDJ was extremely patient given how indecisive I was (sorry!). But in the end I'm very happy with my diamond especially when Ha**y Winston representative complimented it and asked me for a closer look! Then there is my wedding band. Again, I was being very indecisive and kept changing my mind on the design and shape over many visits. As usual, IDJ was very patient with me and made sure I was completely comfortable being making a decision. My wedding band was made by Israel (the owner of ID Jewelry who takes pride with his craftsmanship). Rather than using the commercial pre-made cookie cutter ring setting, his persistence on making his own setting from scratch makes me respect him more. Using the commercial ring setting is so much easier and less headache but at the time the ring will look less flattering. In addition, Israel selected high quality diamonds which give out lots of fire! I'm very happy with the final outcome! With the whole package of diamond quality, price, knowledge as well as customer service, ID Jewelry is the only jeweler who really meet my strict standard. Thank you again Yekutiel and Israel! Communication was prompt and pleasurable, and the ring was delivered within the two weeks as promised. I'm absolutely pleased it came out exactly as we discussed and just like the photos I sent. I've followed IDJ on jewelry chat forums before the social media age. They've always had very good reviews and I'm thrilled I finally got the chance to work with them.

Yekutiel is amazing, the absolute best! You won't find a more conscientious owner than him. He is very thoughtful, knowledgeable and provides a high level of service. I heard about IDJ through researching the top 10 places in NYC and I see why they are number one. You won't find better deals because they keep their costs low and also invest and hold special diamonds and they have the deep pockets to do so. Shop around and I bet they won't be able to compete with quality, price or service. 5 star for sure and I won't do business with anyone else moving forward. Thank you Yekutiel!!
