I am so happy with the chemical peel that I booked with Eva! Idan and his staff were communicative and provided a safe and effective peel alternative for my personal needs. Eva made the experience very relaxing, and she helped clear my very clogged skin, which was my goal with the treatment. I also purchased Idan's in-house volcanic clay mask and received the toner for free with the promo they were running. I haven't used the mask yet, but I love the toner! Great even for super sensitive skin like mine. Highly recommend Idan's spa and his products!

I had a salmon DNA facial last week and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Janice took great care of my skin and suggested an enzyme exfoliation based on what she saw. I’m glad I followed her recommendation because I think it really improved my skin. My skin looked smoother, clearer, and more refreshed right away. It’s been several days and I’m still enjoying the results!

Visited Idan Med spa last Sunday to get a hydrafacial and had a wonderful experience. Facialist was timely and professional. Offered an additional service and was transparent about reasoning and cost. Very happy with the results. My skin feels clean, bright, and hydrated. I’ve been avoiding makeup all week to keep the results going and it’s been working. Will definitely be back for another visit.

I got the Salmon DNA facial new customer special! My facial with Lauren was excellent, she walked me through all the different steps, and my skin is super nourished from the treatment. I even learned that PDRN derived from Salmon is recognized by human DNA which is what causes the tissue repair!

Daniela Alvarez gave me a triple layer facial, and let me tell you -- it was a game-changer. I've spent the last 12 years working blue collar jobs, constantly exposed to the elements, dirt, and sweat. Over time, that took a toll on my skin -- rough, dry, and worn down. But after just one session with Daniela, my skin felt completely renewed. It was like I hadn't spent a day in the trades at all. I had such an incredible experience here--truly one of the best facials I've ever had! I came in for their new client special and was paired with Sophie, who is absolutely amazing. I've had two facials here so far and my skin has improved so much. The staff has really helped me to understand my skin better and make recommendations to incorporate into my day to day skin routine. The glass skin facial has left my skin still so smooth and glassy looking even a week later!

This was my 2nd visit to Idan and unfortunately Sophie was not there however Jasmine assisted me with the triple layer facial. Jasmine was very professional and thorough as she was able to remove those stubborn black heads in the crease of my nostril area. We had a great conversation during the appointment.. other than tips and tricks on how to keep my face looking as best as it can. I got to hear about her Family as well as her goals for her future career in Nursing and she got to hear about my work life in the Dental World. I booked my appointment for next month. Thank you.

I just tried this local business and went in for their current promo - the facelift-facial...I had a wonderful experience under the care of Jasmine! She is clearly gifted and loves what she's doing. Unfortunately there was a rather rude guest who kept talking to Jasmine through the door of my treatment room and then just walked in!! But Jasmine was very professional and guided her off the premises. Jasmine returned and offered some extra attention. I felt relaxed and trusted that I was in good hands. Great results too! This is a little oasis in the Mission - cute little space, very San Francisco. Sophie is very knowledgeable, attentive and just fun. She really studies your skin, mixes her magic products and viola - glowing skin. She would proactively make notes to you about how to better take care of your skin and make recommendations. Now I just need to go there consistently! Looking forward to the next one!

Not sure about the results of their work since I couldn't have it done. I want to start this review highlighting how I felt judged as I got there; the esthetician clearly has something against the products I use for my skin care and made me feel uncomfortable with his words and faces as he was talking about it. Next, after getting dressed, lying on the bed, he washed my face, saw my chapped lips and insinuate I could have diseases and it was dangerous for him to do the facial. I've been having dry lips for a while now with the dry weather and just the habit of pulling little skins out when it bothers me, nothing really big or hurt. Anyway, he was very rude asking me to get up, dressed, and leave, as he could get my "disease." I hope they do better with other people, because I'm never going back or recommending this place to anyone.

Daniela rocked the hydrafacial today! She took care of me so well. $189 is definitely not cheap for hydrafacials but I find that hydrafacials really helps my skin with deep exfoliation and also deep hydration which is just what my face always needs! I walked out with a glow and feeling hydrated. Thank you!

I mean seriously... reading GQ or Vogue and not applying it to self is a recipe for disaster and a lifetime of maybes! I'm long overdue - it's all about ME time! :D I've had facials, massages, and self-care appointments before, but it's been a lifetime ago, and with the anti-social pandemic lasting for years... you could say I let myself go and needed a reboot in my life and lifestyle. Enter Idan Med Spa on Mission in San Francisco! Idan Med Spa, has incredible perfect ratings via Yelp, Google & other social media sites! You could say I did my fair share of research, by perusing a dozen spas in the area. What sold me on Idan Med Spa was a promotion for new clients and Hydrodermabrasion! Hydrodermabrasion aka the "celebrity facial", is the latest and greatest way to remove dead cells from the skin to eliminate dark spots and hyperpigmentation. With less pain and irritation than the traditional diamond-tipped treatment, this new technology uses water and oxygen to effortlessly exfoliate the skin while infusing the skin with minerals and vitamins. The online promo offer of $99 (original $169 that similar spas charge about the same) was perfect to "suck me" into the spa life and "suck out" blackheads lol, ok TMI haha! Yet so true! After setting my appointment for a Sunday morning... Idan Med Spa is where I was greeted by Sarah and her taste for Enya! Sarah was welcoming, warm, had a calmness in her voice, and let me tell you about her amazing blue hair! Something about blue lately that has awakened my soul! Is it the ocean? The sky? And the color blue in my besties heart! Ohhh, I'm feeling this cool calm color! Part of the promotion for "stressed Eric" was a relaxed consultation with Sarah! Almost immediately I felt more like I was talking to a friend rather than my skin esthetician! She wanted to know my reasons in coming in and my short term and long term self-care goals. Of course being a dude lol... we sometimes, admittedly always, neglect our skin and ultimately our selves! So it didn't take rocket science for me to add the Lite Peel - $69 (recommend for all skins/all ages). Sarah then led me to my private room where I could clean-up and relax before the beautifying... the soothing nature sounds with hint of Enya relaxed my mind. The table I laid on was comfortable and the mood a reminder to be happy in life. After a knock on the door... Sarah enters and in her soothing voice explains every detail on her approach to my skin. Her touch gentle, yet forceful enough for an alpha male like me lol. The "celebrity facial" includes the entire face and under chin. The process is repeated 2X. Sarah was so easy to talk to... we ended up talking tattoos, cats, and even places to eat in the City, yet she always kept me updated on my skin! She gave me after-care advice, recommendation on lotions, and just easy chat. We ended the nearly one hour of exfoliating, wipes, rubs, and scraping... with a relaxing face, shoulders, arms, hands massage. Ohhhhh... My experience with the Hydrodermabrasion aka the "celebrity facial" complete - it's time to get dressed and meet Sarah in the lobby. Paying via tablet was easy peasy as Sarah continued to give me advice and reminded me on how handsome I am, oookay, I admit I added the later lol. Just felt so rejuvenated! :) Ahhh... All in all, I recommend Idan Med Spa for all your skin and self-care needs! I found the spa to be very clean, welcoming, and most important relaxing. I was in desperate need of a facial. My face as been "acting out" for quite sometime and it "needed help". I have seen wonderful reviews and I decided to make an appointment here. I received a 1 hour facial including microdermabrasion. My face (at the time) felt nice and clean. The woman who worked with me was polite and professional. When I finished my facial and left the room, I felt like I was at a mall. She was very pushy with trying to sell me the products (buy 1 get one free) and it became very uncomfortable for me. About 30 minutes after I left my cheeks were extremely red and itchy. (See photos) Although the overall facial was nice and relaxing, the ending was not. And now my face has more issues than it previously did before hand.

Have tried a few different facials, love the results and the esthetician every time. Just signed up for a package.

I booked a hydrafacial with Idan and it was great! - The place was very clean and we started the facial right on time - The facial was relaxing and came with an upper body massag - The facial was a multi-step treatment that included some devices I've never used before, which was cool to experience Will definitely be booking another appointment!

Love this place! I've been coming for a little over a year for the Triple Layer Facial & just recently tried their new FaceMD Acne Facial - both have shown significant positive change to my pore minimization and skin texture. (Also their monthly deals on the Triple Layer Facials are great!) Clean, relaxing & professional every time.

This was my 3rd time going to this establishment and I've realized that the esthetician that you get really makes the experience. The people of this business really care to understand what went wrong with a client's appointment and want them to be satisfied. They are quick to respond to questions and criticisms and want to make things right and better. I was astonished after learning how dedicated they were to their practice. I had the Triple Layer Facial twice in the last month, and although the last time I told myself that I wasn't going to give this place another chance, I tried it again and I was happily surprised. I believe the last time that I came, I wasn't provided the best service as there were a few major things that fell short, such as missing procedures and the session ending earlier than promised. I just felt that overall, I was getting scammed and treated differently because I purchased the package under a promotion. However, today, I was assisted by Idan who really changed my opinion on this business. He was very welcoming and seemed kind. The first thing I realized is his attention to small details. I undressed my upper half and put on the cloth that they provide you and after I finished, I told Idan I was ready and to come in. Once he entered the room, he noticed I hadn't removed my necklace and helped me remove it and put it aside. I forget I wear a necklace sometimes, so I was like "oh yeah" and recalled that the 2nd time that I came, the other esthetician didn't tell me to remove it. Because I have experience of this facial once, I am able to compare the two sessions, and with the way Idan provided the facial, it felt a lot different than the last. The last facial wasn't bad, it just missed a few components, but today's facial went above and beyond. It actually felt like a real treat I was giving to myself. I definitely feel that the quality of their products are of high quality because it's been 7 hours since my facial and my face is still shining. Each esthetician has their own method of doing the facial, so to each their own. The people here really care about their clients experience, I may find myself coming here again in the future. I was very content and satisfied with the Triple Layer Facial.

I was searching for a new facial spa, since Spa Nordtrom closed. I tried Idan Med Spa on their promotional sale. Idan was my spa facialist and I'm returning as a regular client. It's great to have a spa in the neighborhood. I highly recommend Idan Med Spa.

Came here for the new client special microdermabrasion facial ($99), which was neither my first microdermabrasion session nor my first facial. This location was easy enough to find, but very small with only two rooms available. I was told they offer a personalized "boutique" experience. They also have their own line of organic natural skincare products that they use (and push). Compared to a few of the other medspas I've tried in the city and east bay, I want to say that their set up is the best. It is more customer-centric, with more space, better isolation and lighting, and music to help block out any chatter from the other areas. However, since there's a push for buying their products, the facial comes with a commercial-like narration that interrupts any chance of full relaxation. I've mentioned in other reviews my aversion to using disposable gloves in facials and massages. The lack of skinship is disappointing and the rubbing feeling from the gloves it irritating on my face (I'm okay with it on my body for, say, a body massage). In addition, no oil or other lubricating agent was used for the face or body massage, which made the esthetician's downward movements even more grating and obvious. I have never had a facial where, especially after emphasizing my need for anti-aging, they tug and pull your skin down. It's a very strange experience that I would not want to experience again. Finally I didn't see the results I was expecting from the microdermabrasion. I was definitely expecting better results, but maybe this is why it's been so long since my last attempt. Regardless, there are better facial experiences out there. Wouldn't recommend this one.

The service and my aesthetician were amazing. My skin felt much better after facial on the spot and after few days it kept getting more glowy and fair.

The Hydrofacial was a very good experience. Revived my dull, congested skin. Surprisingly, I did not break out even a little bit afterwards. Definitely going to try their Triple Layer Facial next.

I have been at Idan Med Spa today for Deluxe Hydra facial with Derma-planing, the all experience from the consolations till the actual facial was incredible! The spa was very clean and tranquil and had an Incredible spa like aroma smell. Also the atmosphere.was very welcoming and relaxing. Idan was very professional and knowledgeable. He gave me very helpful tips on how to take care of my skin . Highly recommend and definitely will be back.

This is the second time I have gotten their triple layer facial, and it honestly just gets better. This salon is wonderful. It is clean, inviting, and modern. The estheticians are kind, experienced and talented. I leave glowing and walking on air. I also love their face wash. I've used hundreds of products over the years, and this is sincerely one of my favorites.

Definitely pros and cons to this place I got a $99 hydra facial- in saying that I wouldn't have paid more for that facial. I typically don't mind spending money for a Serivce if it's worth it. Pros- it's a good service, good products, good technic. My skin was glowing after and felt hydrated and cleaned. Cons- they bleach their towels, which is great practice, but the bleach smell is very strong. I think adding dryer sheets would help get Rid of that smell. Esti was nice but really pushing products. I was trying to rest and they would not stop talking. Also just not relaxing, talking to Alex'a during the service. Also I think a candle would be nice to add some Fragrance to make it more spa like I would try them again

Came here for their New Client Hydrafacial, and I was not impressed 1. The whole experience was very salesy and did not feel relaxing 2. They didn't prep my skin for the facial extractions- no steam or any products. I hope this doesn't flare up. 3. It felt rushed and incomplete. 4. The Hydrafacial added no value - not sure what it was supposed to do, but I don't see any value add of this treatment overall Not sure I will come back here:(

I did the hydroderm facial. Facial lasts about 50 minutes. The other 10 minutes of the 1 hr appointment seem to be reserved for check in/out time. Facial includes cleanse, extraction, exfoliation, massage, hydrodermabrasian, and LED. Overall facial was decent.The massage was a nice addition and my skin felt soft which is always a plus. However, I felt more attention could have been focused on the extraction portion as I still had visible blackheads afterwards. I've been in the market for a place to get regular facials, but this is not the place for me.

This was my second visit and it was equally as good or better than my first! I'm thrilled to find a place that is convenient, has excellent quality products and tools, with an equally excellent team that includes the owner! What a great experience with good guidance and information to use between facials. It's great that they offer package deals in addition to specials that they announce via email/text that give an option to try something outside of the package or a one-off choice. If you are unsure of what service to get, book something and let them know and they will guide you and suggest options based on what you want to accomplish. Just don't book all the time slots as I still need to get mine!!

I visit Idan Med spa first time And I have to say I'm super impressed with how professional and elegant my entire treatment was. Idan was amazing and of course the results I had was the best I have ever try so far. Thank you idan for everything definitely booked my second treatment and can't wait to have it ! I have been to Idan twice , both times were wonderful. He is very courteous and knowledgeable . Though he is young , there is none of that milleniel fragility or snarkiness. When i asked for a specific focus in my facial, he was happy to oblige. His spa is on Mission street , which is an interesting neighborhood, his spa however, is clean and smells good .

They took care of me from the moment I arrived until the last minute. Understanding my needs, my routines and suggesting treatments and appropriate products. I felt like a got a custom service. I strongly recommend Idan Med Spa.

I loved my experience here! I went with the microdermabrasion treatment and added on the peel. The entire treatment was so relaxing and the esthetician was very professional. I loved the results! My skin was a bit dry for the following two days (nothing too bad at all though) but I could tell it really helped improve the overall look of my skin.

Updating my rating above. ---- Facial was ok if you're looking for a lightweight pick me up, but I wish I had spent the extra $50 at another provider to get better results. Some issues I had: - Extractions didn't use steam so nothing came out. Instead, it "woke up" a couple of pimples that weren't ready to come out and they were inflamed/raised the next day. This was disappointing since I'm used to extractions being super thorough and getting everything out. - The products weren't very hydrating. There seemed to be an oily layer that just sat on top of my face, but most of the time my face felt dry and tight underneath. Also I got my facial in the evening and the moisturizer had SPF, so I had to wash it off when I got home - I woke up with a small irritated/rough patch on my cheek the next day. This might have been from the microdermabrasion - not sure since I've done microdermabrasion before and this has never happened Everyone's skin is different but I've done dozens of facials at different providers and always ended up with glowy clean skin the next day. Other than causing some irritation and light exfoliation I'm not sure this did anything for me.

I was with Idan Med Spa for almost 2 years now and all the works are very professional. It is a customer satisfaction of their service and they will make happy and smile and that is Sophie one of Idan crew, she is the best.

I've been to many facials across the us as I'm traveling a lot for work , tried multiple places but haven't seen anyone as passionate and professional as idan ! I felt very comfortable with him , I really enjoyed the facial , he really educated me and used very good products , the most important thing is that usually after a facial I had redness for couple of days but with him my face looked on point ! Soft , smooth , no redness once or ever ... very recommended !

Idan is great, I've been seeing him for over 4 months now for a series of nano needling sessions to help deal with some pitted scaring. He's always been very informative and professional. He takes his time during each session to make sure your treatment is effective as possible. I have one more session left but have honestly loved the results thus far. I'm more than willing to continue seeing Idan for other skin treatments he might suggest because I trust I'll see good results.
