We liked the vibes and the staff was very kind. I would have liked if there were more mocktails.

Great skill, performative mixology, great menu, classy old school vibe but not conservative.

Great bar for classic cocktails and some great signature ones. Service by our bartender, Azul, was outstanding. The ambience is also very classic. They have a good whisky selection, and the selection of gin is kept under zero degrees. One of Barcelona’s musts!

Excellent bar. The bartender David was supremely knowledgeable, helpful in curating drinks to our taste, and a great conversationalist. Absolutely terrific experience. It was quite a slow night when I arrived, which is to my preference, but I know some customers might push down the “atmosphere” meter a point for an empty bar. However, I’m not sure you would want to come in at a busy time as the bartenders here take their time in making the drinks and are quite the perfectionists, so expect longer wait times for drinks if the bar is full.

We had the old Cuban and the Brazilian pina colada… might have been the best cocktails either side of the Atlantic. So tasty and strong. Cuban rum was amazing too.

I came a few years ago and it was pretty good. Unfortunately, it has really gone down hill. Lot's of much better places nearby now.

One of my best experiences in Barcelona. Service was impeccable. An older gentleman treated us with great care and kindness. He went above and beyond to make our visit fantastic. He made us feel at home, comfortable, and made amazing cocktails with care. The ambiance was great, it was quiet and cool, and formal yet comfortable. The ac was on high which was amazing compared to the high contrast heat outdoors. We were also brought complimentary cracker and peanuts. I would recommend everyone visiting barcelona who wants a comfortable and lowkey place to drink high end yet affordable cocktails to come here. AMAZING.

Our first visit to Barcelona and my friend I'm traveling with found this bar while walking around the neighborhood we are staying in. After having dinner we went back there and the bartender was excellent. I ordered a grasshopper, and even though he had to look it up he made it and it was so delicious that I ordered a second one. Will definitely come back to this bar the next trip here.

Such a great bar. A great quiet place to get a drink and have a conversation. The drinks are not the cheapest for Barcelona but pretty cheap for most large cities. The bartenders are very skilled and do a great job crafting cocktails.

I am quite shocked with how few reviews this place has, and how empty is was when we came given the media attention is has received! Regardless, we LOVED this bar, and can't wait to come back and tell our friends about it! It has been around since the 1920-1930s, and is currently owned by the grandson of the original owner. It's cozy, posh, and elegant. My husband and I will definitely never forget this place because it introduced us to the wonderful world of G&Ts!
