I recently had a disappointing experience with the hiring process at Ideal Home Health. After receiving a Calendly link to schedule an interview, I selected a time and waited diligently for the meeting. Unfortunately, no one from the team joined the call. I waited for 30 minutes, but there was no communication, no update, and no follow-up message to acknowledge the missed appointment or offer to reschedule.
I took the initiative to follow up via email, and the HR assistant responded by offering to reschedule. However, even after confirming a new time, the same HR assistant failed to show up again. Despite Google Calendar sending automated reminders before interviews, there was still no communication or apology for the second no-show.
This repeated lack of professionalism and courtesy raises serious concerns about how the organization values people’s time and commitment. While occasional scheduling issues are understandable, failing to show up twice without any notice or follow-up is unacceptable. I hope Ideal Home Health takes this feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements to their hiring process.
