I am s impressed with this business. My husband is in a wheelchair, and everyone from the cashier, to the instructors to the owner made my husband feel welcomed and safe. Don't be fooled.... this establishment caters to young and old, athletic and couch potatoes. But my daughter purchased this for my husband because she heard they handle clients that had movement disabilities including those in wheelchairs. Don the owner personally came over to us to give us a guideline of how our visit would go. Next Kevin our instructor greeted us with a wonderful smile, clear instructions and beautiful energy. We happened to go on Fathers Day and there were entire families (young children included) that were "flying" this day. Highly recommend as a date night, family gathering or just an adventure.

Google
We had a great time! The instructor Corbin, was patient and knowledgeable. My kids were mixed emotions but were definitely more than excited after their intro course and directions from Corbin. As soon as I said do you all want to come back again they both shouted YES! So we will be back. What a day and what a good time! We appreciate the experience. They were so amazed at Corbin's stunts, my 8 year now wants to fly😁..Just awesome! Thank you!

Google

Have fun.. and I suggest you purchase High fly to get the whole experience!! Enjoy!!

❤The Traveling Boss Lady loves visiting new places to experience. 🔍 Market Research is the best way to recommend to clients. 📋If you ever wanted to try skydiving, then this is the place to go. Tony greeted us with excitement and explained the packages. We had an awesome flight instructor Dro. He was patient, fun, full of energy and explained everything step by step. At the end he performed an amazing skydiving show. I highly recommend this place.

Today, I treated my godson to an iFly experience, which proved to be a fantastic one-on-one outing. His instructor, Kevin, was top-notch, and I highly recommend giving this a try. For an optimal experience, book your session with Kevin.

Went here earlier today!! My family and I had a blast. The staff was so kind to all of us, Coach Tony was amazing and funny. 10/10 recommend going if your in the area!

Yelp
Friendly. Great instructions for the kids and gave encouragement throughout. Must do when in town.

Yelp
My dad has been wanting to do indoor skydiving for awhile so during his recent visit we decided to visit here. Our instructor was great and provided us with a safe flight and he was very witty. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this location.

JaNeese G.

Yelp
We had a great time at iFly! We went to celebrate my friend's birthday and everyone on the team was so great. They celebrated her and wished her a Happy Birthday on the screen while she was in the tunnel. We went at the perfect time of day - early Friday afternoon gave us the best price and there weren't a lot of people there. Our flight instructor was Corbin and he was really great!! He even showed us how to do a few tricks in the tunnel. We would definitely do this again!

Yelp
We have spent some time at several different iFlys. I can't do this any more due to shoulder problems but my wife and kids love it! This location was a bit disorganized but the experience of sky diving was still the same. We had my sons bday celebration here and they had a blast! It ain't cheap!! But it is really fun.

Yelp
I spent a week in Atlanta and the one thing on my list was this place. We passed by it on a previous visit and it sparked my interest. My daughter and I came here to do the experience. I really didn't know what to expect but I wanted to float for a while and yes I did. It's not dirt cheap but it's worth the flight. I don't think I would jump out of an airplane but I figured I could handle this. It was so much fun and I am glad we did it. It was $99 pp plus any add ons that you wanted to do. We caught a special so we paid less and less is always sweet. I do recommend this as we were pleased with the espy. The guy that assisted us did a great job and was so funny. He also put on a flying show after we did our flights. We enjoyed that As well. They do supply the jumpsuit, head gear and goggles and helmet. It's definitely professional . After you finish they talk to you to see how you liked it, etc.

Yelp
We fly high, no lie... you know the song! We take dating seriously, and whenever we can hang out without the little ppl we do! If you're looking for something to do instead of eating and drinking all the time for a great day date, and you aren't ready to jump out a real plane, go to the iFly Indoor Skydiving. It's safe. The instructors are awesome, and they guide you the entire time. This is a great place to take the kids, but we aren't talking about children right now! Yes their is a weight capacity. I just made the cut..lol! There is seating if you aren't ready to get high or you just want to be a supportive spectator. Great for a day date. It's great if you wanna feel like a kid again after you've paid like an adult!

Yelp
Had an amazing time yesterday for my gf's birthday I surprised her with a day at iFly in Atlanta. Our fly guides name Was Stephen. He was so nice attentive and supportive. We watched videos to prepare us. He taught us how to properly support Our bodies. I definitely recommend. Please do not wear any loose jewelry no hats wear your hair in a low pony tail. No sandals or crocs. They do have lockers available no cost. You cannot take your phone into the fly zone. Pictures and videos purchased are uploaded from a digital code provided upon checking in. For the best experience I would recommend 3 flights, I only did 2 due to cost. This place is amazing. Plenty of families came with their children. Also, if you have had any surgeries or shoulder injuries may want to speak to someone before booking. Thanks Stephen

Alvin W.

Yelp
Great place to practice skydiving body positioning and for people who just want to have some fun in the tunnel.

Mahra A.

Yelp
Too much fun and excitement! The staff was welcoming. The price was okay. I plan to revisit.

Yelp
Oh my goodness it was amazing!!!!! I have always wanted to do it. So my son was here for a visit so we went for it. For the most fun spend the extra $$to have the high flight experience. Andrei was an amazing instructor. He took great care of his flight party. Adam took us up for the high flight. Beyond amazing. Loved the staff and the entire experience. If you decide to do it leave all jewelry at home. Just because for safety you can't wear it during flight. They do have personal lockers for your stuff. Can't wait to do it again. Thank you Andrei & Adam

Leigh C.

Yelp
Went for the first time ever and it was well worth the trip for us. Ari was our instructor and he was great!!! Everything was super clean. The staff was amazing. And the facility is easy to find.

Jamia M.

Yelp
My boyfriend surprised me with this amazing experience this weekend, and I couldn't have been more thrilled! From the front desk to the instructors and the entire flight, everyone was incredibly kind and supportive. I was really nervous at first, but the staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, and even congratulated us after we finished! Alejandro and Jesse, our instructors, were fantastic--very patient and encouraging. Although I can't recall the name of the wonderful woman at the front desk, she played a huge role in convincing me to try flying high, and I'm so grateful she did because it was an absolute blast! I'd rate the experience 10/10 and would definitely go again!

Tiffany H.

Yelp
Definitely an experience. I had been saying for years I wanted to do it and today I finally did. Walking in, I was directed to completing the online waiver at the iPad stand. Once completing that, I was checked in, given a armband and weighed. Then ushered into the large waiting area. Our appointment was at 3, and I believe we started the process about 330. This included putting on the jumper, watching a safety video, getting goggles and helmet. Then we waited some more. No matter how many in your party, they do groups of around 10-12. Finally, we were ushered into the enclosed area, where you went one by one for your allotted time. I was really nervous but made it through. The experience was..... interesting. Not sure I would do it again. But glad I did. Oh, and our guide was Q. He was amazing!!! Super helpful and comforting. He also did some amazing tricks after everyone had gone that was fun to watch.

Yelp
Tried this out during our vacation to Georgia. Very cool location and nice set-up. Staff was really polite and the instructor, Cbran, was great. He helped each one of us and encouraged everyone the whole time. We were all different ages and sizes from 15-62yo. We're definitely doing this again next year.

Yelp
June 2022* S U M M A R Y Bring DEEP pockets and a smile. You'll have so much fun and either your body or your bank account will feel it the next day. C H E C K I N + S E T U P I suggest you get to this location at least 15 minutes before your fly time. You will have to fill out a waiver, they have to take your weight and they have to try to upsell you. Once all that is done, you will wait for your turn and they will give you your clothes. You get a suit and a helmet. And depending on the type of helmet you get, they'll either give you glasses or you'll have a visor attached to the helmet. You get a preflight lesson where essentially your instructor shows you how to position your body while you're inside of the simulator. This is really important because if you don't position your body well you're not gonna have a fun flight as you'll be sinking to the bottom. And most people are only in there for one minute at a time so you can spend a lot of that time basically doing nothing. Just learn the hand signals and you'll be fine. F L Y I N G My suggestion is to buy the high flights. You've already spent a lot of money and you might as well spend a little more with it. Because I would've been bored out of my mind without the high flight. The original flight is just a few feet off of the ground. With that being said... THE FLIGHT WAS PHENOMENAL! I had so much fun!!! And one minute us wayyyyyy too short. The high flight is not that high. You go up to where the white part of the tunnel begins. And your instructor is holding onto you the entire time and you're 100% safe. I chose to purchase some more flights because I want to get to a level where I can go in there by myself without the instructor and fly around. That does take time and practice but I think it's worth it. A M B I E N C E Definitely cool. Kind of makes you feel like you're inside of NASA or some type of space training. It's kind of dark inside and there's a big simulator in the middle and everyone's just kind of watching whoever is inside and it was just dope. I enjoyed watching people in there. P R I C E We paid 150$ for 2 1-minute high flights, 2 photos and 2 videos. (Oh yeah and a helmet upgrade they throw in there because no one else would buy it otherwise) We went with the video and photo package just because once you're inside the tunnel you're not able to take your phone. And we all booked for the same time so none of us could record another person. I suggest you bring someone with you that can record you from the outside. TIP* After your first flight, they give you a steep discount if you want to purchase more flights that day. For example, I purchased 10 more flights for 150$. This is the same amount that I spent on just two flights and the photo package. So yeah... They definitely make most of their money upfront. R A T I N G 1 star off because I do feel like their prices are too high.

Yelp
It feels WAY over priced for the experience. I took my husband for his birthday and we spent about $500 for an hour long experience. I can think of lots of other things that would give more value for that amount of money. That said, it is a unique experience just not worth the price for me.

Deborah H.

Yelp
We had a great time visiting with our basketball team . Great bonding experience . Our guide Alejandro was the best!

Vanessa M.

Yelp
Knowing I love experiential gifts, my husband surprised me with Ifly for my birthday. We had so much fun! Corbin was an amazing instructor, welcoming and answering all questions with humor and expertise. He made sure everyone had a great time while maintaining safety protocols. The facility is really cool and super clean as was all the flight suits, helmets and such. Definitely will return soon and build skill to do the awesome tricks Corbin demonstrated for us. #iflyatlanta

Yelp
I have never left a Yelp review in my life but this place was worth it! We drove 5.5 hours to Atlanta with iFly being the main reason for the trip. My daughter just turned 10 and has begged to go skydiving. This is as close as we could get but it did not disappoint! Her instructor was Corbin and he was fantastic! She's very shy and he made her feel comfortable and have the best time! All the other employees were also great and so helpful and fun. The only thing I hate is that we don't live closer because we would be frequent flyers!

Ella P.

Yelp
I had an AMAZING experience at iFLY Indoor Skydiving-Atlanta! It was the first time for my son and I. Corbin was our instructor, and he was AWESOME! He was very informative, and made everyone feel at ease. If you're ever in the ATL, and are looking for a unique way to make memories with your family and friends, I highly recommend iFLY Indoor Skydiving. You won't regret it! Just an FYI, there are weight restrictions and they do weigh you before you can participate. You also have to wear closed toe shoes.

Arya I.

Yelp
was such a fun experience and especially with the instructor Raphael. he was so sweet and fun and made the experience so much better. all the workers were so kind and customer service was amazing. the experience itself was definitely one i would recommend to everyone!

Jeff M.

Yelp
I just dont understand how you can be hours behind your appointment times and not say anything. Not hey guy we are running late we are so sorry...also place is a little dirty. Staff at check in were nice. instructors were amazing. I guess if you go get the first reservation time and pray that they don't have a 10 groups ahead of that. The actual flying is great.

Steve K.

Yelp
Staff is incredible rude and NOT helpful. We've been here sir almost two hours and still waiting to line up. Experience is fun. This location needs new management to run on time and new staff that should treat the customers as customers. The front folks this day should all be replaced

Erin D.

Yelp
I'll start off by saying it truly was a fun experience and my guide was fantastic. It was so cool being able to navigate and fly in the tunnel and I loved the energy everyone brought as well as the cleanliness of the gear and facility overall. So why 2 stars? This is incredibly overpriced for the experience, but more than that, the prices are misleading and there's no hope of a refund if paying ahead of time (unless a 48hr notice in cancellation). We purchased a groupon for 2 people and 2 flights each at $222.58 ($111.29/each). The price on the actual website was only $104 so we were under the impression it was upgraded. Thats on us for assuming perhaps, but it doesn't get any better from there. Turns out "2 flights" mean 1 minute in the tube and you only go about 3ft up 2 times. When we got there, we were offered to go up to regular flying height and bump to 2 min each flight for $70 more each. I believe it breaks down to $30 for height and $40 for the minute. Definitely worth it to bump up to the next level experience-wise, but not worth it to us for the total price point. We decided to walk away... but then we were told there was no chance to get a refund, we could only get credit to use at iFly another day. Apparently even being a Groupon and not "redeeming" it fully, it still fell under the 48hr notice rule and would not be granted the money back. We decided to just combine the money we already lost to this place and just one of us took the experience but got to max it out since we decidedly won't be back. Again, I think it's a great crew here and a fun service they offer, but they lack clarity in pricing and function at such a premium cost for the clout of it all that I'm glad I tried it but I have no desire to go again.

Kinley T.

Yelp
iFly was so awesome! Our instructor helped me get more courage during my flight. Very clean and tidy. Surprised of how much they provided and will definitely be back again

Payton K.

Yelp
Bought it for my brother as a Christmas gift we went and really enjoyed our time and the staff was excellent. The experience was really good! However paying $168 for 4 minutes of the company's time seemed like a scam. Online it came off as if we would have 4 visits and 2 flights per visitor on each visit but no it was one session in which case we both got to fly 2 times for a total of 4 minutes... If you are rich and don't care about getting the bang for your buck, it's a good time! However for most people I would consider it not worth it! I was expecting a lot more and left a little disappointed. For a $168 one time visit for 2 people and 4 minutes.

Tray F.

Yelp
Got exactly what we paid for. Really enjoyed the experience. Seemed as if others weren't in there for long, but once you got in, it took forever More work than we thought. Fun experience

Dina W.

Yelp
What a great experience! My boyfriend planned a session here as a part of my birthday weekend. It was so much fun! Our package included 2 flights. We checked in. I received a iFly water bottle for my birthday--how cute. We were given jumpsuits. Then we were told to pick a locker and put all our belongings in it. We proceeded to a room where an instructor played a short video on how the process works. Then he provided direction and tips--it all happened so fast. I get it...they do this all day, everyday. But it would've been great for it to be a little slower since we were first timers. We were given the rest of our gear--helmets, goggles, and ear plugs. The group was split into two. The first half went into the tunnel while the second half just watches from the benches. We chose the option to 'go higher' during the flight. Of course the instructor is holding on to you the entire time. There's a guy right on the outside of the tunnel coaching you on what to change (lift your head, widen your legs, etc.). Once you have the hang of it, it's time to fly. I didn't know what to expect but it was crazy, fun and intense all wrapped into one! At the end, went back into the room and dropped off the gear. We also received a certificate--again, how cute! The package my boyfriend chose included one video and pictures so we received vouchers with a code on each. The videos and pictures are available on their website for 3 weeks. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely do it again!

David S.

Yelp
I went with our cub scout group, yesterday, and it was a lot of fun! All the kids had a blast ( and parents, too!) One of the best parts of the experience were the employees, they were extremely good with the kids, very interactive and upbeat! I cannot say enough about how professional, courteous, and helpful these guys were. David did an amazing job with the STEM activities, and my group had Eric as a flight instructor, both were fantastic. I booked more flights for my son and I. What sold me was the fun and the comfortable atmosphere. thanks again!

Taylor L.

Yelp
Has such an amazing time! We attended a birthday party and had Corbin as an instructor he was not only fun and kind , he was very well versed it what he was doing and made sure to keep everyone safe! I would definitely go again.

Butterfly K.

Yelp
Costumer service was awful. Was there for 2 hours and still haven't flew when my session was at 5:30 pm and was still there by 7:00 pm, saying that they were running late. A worker kept speaking with a specific flyer, or the woman kept engaging in conversation with him, but it took him at a few minutes to get to me and my cousin, and took him awhile to get us suited. I flew here before, and it wasn't this bad. Please improve.

Ashleigh F.

Yelp
We brought our tickets through Groupon at a discounted rate. We were able to complete our waiver online to save time when we arrived. When we checked in at the front desk we were weighed and given wristbands. We were also asked if we wanted to upgrade to get a high flight were we would be able to go 18ft in the wind tunnel. We decided to add the upgrade that cost $10 because the front desk employee, Deja, said that we would regret it if we didn't. I am glad that we listened to her. It was so exhilarating. Anthony, the employee that checked us in, and Deja were nice and joked with us. My friend was called before our arrival and told to be in time for our flight. We were told to be there at 12:30 but we didn't fly until 1:30. We sat around watching other guests and instructors fly until our flight training at 1:00 pm. Our training instructor Hassan was great. He was knowledgeable and funny. He joked with us and gave us tips about body positions and hand signals after we watched a portion of a video during the training. He made everyone feel more relaxed and comfortable. We also got a certificate after our two flights. We were provided with a flying suit, helmet, and ear plugs to utilize during our flights. My friend was also provided with shoes to wear during her flight. You have the option to buy videos and photographs after you leave. Options to buy future flights at a discounted price was also offered. Merchandise can be purchased onsite as well.

Hannah H.

Yelp
We had an awesome time here! The staff was hyped up and made the experience so fun. Ari really killed it as our instructor. 10/10 would recommend.

Janette W.

Yelp
DO NOT GO HERE! When we made the reservation they said we were both okay to fly. Before booking, we had explained thoroughly one person had a 10 year old shoulder surgery. They said we would be fine to fly. When we got there they said we should NOT fly and refused a refund of any kind. We were polite and asked if the person who did not have the shoulder surgery could fly and refund the person who did have the surgery. Cass and Anthony were the names of the iFly personnel involved - they flat out refused any type of refund, half or otherwise. We walked out. What an asinine way of doing business. They ruined my birthday.

Richie R.

Yelp
FLAT OUT DO NOW RECCOMEND, STAY AWAY. Me and my son had brooked reservations for two flights so he could do it two times, but when we got to the front desk they refused to let us do anything because we were two minutes late!!! This was absolute bullshit stay away from this place.

Gerald E.

Yelp
I wanted to come here for years and finally made it on a big birthday. It did not disappoint. Well, I wanted to do it alone with no guide and risk crashing into walls and completely flailing with no direction, but hey, the guide was helpful and made everyone feel at ease. They have tiers based on your experience and your pockets. Let me provide a basic check-in/experience overview. 1. Dress comfortably. I came from church suited; booted but had joggers in my truck, jog joggers in my truck (chopped and screwed that into a song). 2. Sign waivers and step on the scale to weigh in. Dont be scurred, I think the max to iFly is 350 or so. 3. Sit and wait. Even booking an appointment, you will fly within a group of 10+ typically that all booked for that same window. You will have this opportunity to watch the group before you or if you are lucky some professionals who come there to train. 4. Once all of your group has arrived, an instructor will come around asking whose here for that time window you booked for. Follow them to a training room where detailed instructions will be provided. This is your chance to ask questions, watch a training video (maybe) and get pro tips and tricks from the instructor. 5. Put on your jumpsuit and head gear. 6. Go into the seated area of the wind tunnel and iFly one by one with the instructor. You get 2 turns in the wind tunnel at about 1 minute each. I hope that helps. Happy iFlying.

Ashley H.

Yelp
We came for a STEM field trip with my son's school. Absolutely fantastic experience! The guys were knowledgeable and super entertaining. We will absolutely be returning!

Alison L.

Yelp
The actual flying part was good but EVERYTHING else, NOT. Their check in process is totally broken and needs fixed immediately. OR they need to better train their customer service folks. It is one thing to tell the client to be there 20 minutes ahead of time (they say "we suggest you be here 20 minutes ahead of time") but in the future they must also tell the client: IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO CHECK IN 20 MINUTES AHEAD OF TIME, AND ARE 1 MINUTE + LATE, YOU WILL BE CANCELLED AND MUST RESCHEDULE. We were 4 minutes late (so 16 minutes ahead instead of 20) and they told us we could not fly and to reschedule. then, over the next hour, I witnessed 3 more groups come in that were slightly late and were told the same thing. If that is happening as much as I witnessed, wouldnt you think they should mention it verbally when booking the reservation? I understand it is in the fine print in the email but it needs to be highlighted in the beginning. Then...they consistently run at least 30 minutes behind so they actually could have accomodated us. Luckily they were able to reschedule us for 3:30. We returned at 3pm, and then were not actually called back to start till 4:15 and then went into the tunnel at 4:55pm...all that for a 3:30 appt!! Ifly is a 1 and done thing and we will not go back. We wasted so much of our day there unfortunately.

Kirsten R.

Yelp
Terrible customer service! I paid $$$ for my sons birthday for him & his siblings to fly. I arrived early , filled out the waivers , and one sibling got here 5 minutes after our scheduled time but I had checked him in. Everyone was allowed in but him. They hadn't even started yet. All they needed to do was put his helmet and gear on and put them in the training room with the rest. But instead they fought with me and didn't let him in. Now he's not going to get to fly with his brother for his 18th birthday. I don't recommend coming here. Go to the other locations. Terribly unprofessional or caring.

Kendra P.

Yelp
not allowed to use the experience purchased via web sales after driving over 2 hours to do so on my daughter's birthday.

Sofia B.

Yelp
I've been here twice, passes so fast but it's definitely an experience worth having! I've brought my fiancé here for his birthday and also a friend visiting from out of town. Both loved their experiences, and were happy we came. Reserve your time slot ahead of time, this place gets booked. ATTIRE: I'm not poking fun.. but LADIES.... wear a bra. lol... The air vents are so strong.. and the jumpsuits are not super thick... I've seen front and center what it looks like when you don't.. and its hard to look at anything else. Thank god the it only lasted 60 seconds haha.... Wear comfortable clothing. Something that will be easy for you to move around in, instead of being stiff. You do get put in a jumpsuit. But the more mobility you have, the better in my opinion. INSTRUCTORS: The instructors are actually super cool, they are skydiving PROS. We've seen them messing around and doing tricks on their down time, before a class starts, and the tricks they have are INSANE! Kids and adults were all entertained. You do get a little training on what hand motions to do when you get in the tube. Its a lot harder then it looks. You have to keep you head up and pay attention to what they are advising you to do. Challenging but FUN. Also, you are able to tip the instructors at the end of the flight. So if you wanted to bring 5$/10$ + cash handy, and you liked your instructor, I'm sure they would appreciate it :) All in all we have always had a good experience here. After you are done, you think about actually doing the REAL thing.. not sure if I ever will though haha.

Lisa F.

Yelp
I had an AMAZING experience at iFly. Wasn't sure about it at first, as I'm not into heights. Saw how much fun everyone else was having and decided to go all in with high flights. My first instructor was Rafi. He was funny, kind, and really helped me feel comfortable and confident. I was able to learn how to stay stable and start doing basic moves. I suspect he may secretly be Iron Man. I had such a great time I signed up again for a few days later. Adam was my coach. He was super encouraging and enthusiastic, taught me the rest of the basics, and showed me resources for continuing to build my flight skills. He also does a perfect Spiderman impersonation. Talon did a great job 'DJing' the wind speed and giving direction. If you want to be a superhero or just hang out with them, I highly recommend iFly Atlanta.

Yelp
At the reception - didn't provide appropriate information, didn't give Boucher'for video and pics. Gear provided was damaged and when trying to change it, there was a limited outfits sizes. The people had an attitude about it. I told them i didn't want to upgrade but yet I received a $129 charge over the $600+ already in my credit card. Am i expecting too much here?

Yelp
iFLY is awesome. It turned out to be more fun than I expected. It was exhilarating and our group had an absolute blast. Where else in Atlanta can you indoor skydive? Answer: Nowhere. iFLY is a chain of indoor skydiving facilities that started in 1998. They're approaching 40 locations worldwide. This location in Atlanta is currently one of the company's newest locations. It opened in November 2016 near the Cobb Cloverleaf (I-75 and I-285) and the new Braves stadium in a brand new building on Cobb Parkway. It's hard not to notice this place when driving by. The huge "Indoor Skydiving" sign definitely piqued my interest when the facility was under construction. I just knew I had to try it. Around the time of the business' opening, there was a rep from iFLY selling indoor skydiving packages at the nearby Costco at Cumberland Mall. My girlfriend decided to buy a package at Costco for the two of us for my birthday. Later, we decided to make it a group activity and purchased a party package directly from iFLY. iFLY Atlanta offers many different packages. For one person, two 1-minute flights regularly costs $69.95. Four 1-minute flights costs $109.95. If you have a Costco membership, I definitely recommend purchasing a package through Costco to save money. Not only were our flights less expensive, but our package through Costco included free videos too. The party package, which was added on top of our Costco package, cost $704.08 total with $175 due upfront (deposit). The party package included two 1-minute flights for 12 people and 12 videos. This equated to $58.67 per person. On top of that, all of us opted for iFLY's optional "High Flight" option. High Flight is when you go on a ride with the instructor about halfway up (or perhaps more) the vertical wind tunnel a few times. I estimate the peak height for High Flight is about 15 feet. It costs $10 extra per person. Each of our high flights took place during the last 30 seconds of our second flights making for a nice ending to our iFLY experience. So how does it work? Basically, you enter a tube (wind tunnel) which has a smooth stream of air flowing up from below. The air moves rapidly enough to lift your entire body up if you lean into it. If it's your first time, an instructor will be inside the tube with you to make sure you don't get hurt. There's another person seated at the controls monitoring the flights, controlling the timer and wind speed, and other stuff. The wind tunnels at iFLY are the same wind tunnels professional skydivers train in. After booking an appointment, when you first enter the facility, you have to fill out and sign a waiver. You can also complete your waiver ahead of time online. An employee will weigh you. The weight limit is 300 pounds. If you weigh above 260 pounds, there may be additional restrictions. If you've had any previous back or neck injury, you should notify the staff. If you've ever dislocated a shoulder, I don't think you're allowed to fly. After our group of 14 checked in, we headed to the classroom where we sat through a quick training course that consisted of listening to our instructor Jeremy and watching a short video. We learned hand signals (because you can't hear anything when you're inside the wind tunnel) and correct body posture and chin and limb positions. After the course, we suited up. Jeremy sized us up with his eyes and handed us what he thought would be the best-fitting flight suits based on our heights and body types. We also got goggles (if you wear glasses, the goggles go over your glasses), earplugs, and helmets. After we were suited up, we entered the wind tunnel. There is only one wind tunnel so the folks inside are always on display and the center of attention. The wind tunnel is enclosed in glass and there are two layers: (1) the main section where you do the actual indoor skydive and (2) an "outer" layer where you and your group wait your turn (there's a bench to sit on). This outer layer is also where the person at the controls sits. You can't bring any phones or cameras inside the wind tunnel, but folks outside the wind tunnel are free to take pictures and video. We had so much fun flying. It's more of a workout than you think since you have to keep your body stable against the rapid flow of air. It requires a decent amount of core strength and a bit of arm and leg strength too. Here are my flight videos: Flight 1: https://youtu.be/QFoqBRHhN4c Flight 2 (includes High Flight): https://youtu.be/Y5CH3Cw3D1Y Jeremy also put on a jaw-dropping trick show for us at the end! https://youtu.be/NaL4yNarin8 iFLY's website where you download pictures and video isn't the best. It's clunky and it's hard to tell people apart in the tiny thumbnails and proofs. Pictures regularly cost $3.95 each and videos are $9.95 each. Jeremy, Hassan, and the rest of the staff were friendly and great. In the end, I highly recommend indoor skydiving at iFLY. It's tons of fun especially with a group.

Yelp
I've totally been wanting to check this place out forever, and finally seized the opportunity. I know my daughter is a huge thrill seeker and would love it. My boyfriend likes adventure, too, so I brought him. I RSVP'd for the 5:30pm slot, and was in a major rush to make this time, only to sit there for half an hour before we got going. That was kind of annoying. I mean, I get they want us there on time, but I would have loved an extra 15 minutes to not rush our food before coming here. Anyway, while waiting, I took a couple videos. You can't bring your camera in the area when you're flying, so I was bummed I couldn't get pictures of them in flight. We did a short instruction class which showed a very short video, and then we were off to fly. The flight itself is extremely short. I paid for the four 1 minute flights for all of us, and got them the high rise flight which takes you higher up on your last flight. I can't understand why for the price of this that the flights aren't longer. I mean, I really am glad I did the four flights, because two isn't even worth driving all the way down here, but even with that, it seemed short. It was thrilling and different to do this, but I can't see myself paying hundreds to do this again. My daughter had a blast and so did my boyfriend, and it really nice to share such a unique experience, but it felt short for me. I wouldn't have minded the cost nearly as much if the flights had been longer. Also, I hated wearing the ear protection plugs, although necessary and the helmet shield was so hard to get up, for me anyway. After everyone flew, the instructors got in and did some tricks. Wow, they are amazing. I wonder how long it took them to get that good. They do offer private lessons..but yeah, that's gonna cost you like everything else. Our instructor was really nice, peppy, made things fun. Oh, they give you lockers if you want to secure your belongings. I took out my earrings, because no way did I want to lose them during the flight. And of course, you can't and don't want your phone on you while flying. Make sure you book in advance, because this place actually was pretty booked for the weekend. I was lucky to secure the last 3 spots on a Sunday. I'd say it's not something I regret doing because it was fun for us all, but not something I'd do again with the steep cost and short flights.

Yelp
Had a very fun time here. My first skydiving experience in a safe, controlled environment. Not sure if I'd ever do the real thing jumping out of an airplane, so I'm glad they have the next best thing here in Atlanta. Before jumping into the activity, you first go through a brief instructional briefing with your instructor who you'll later be flying/skydiving with. You're in a group of about 10 other skydivers. Once you're done learning proper procedures, you're escorted to the wind tunnel, where you take turns with the other skydivers for about a minute at a time. Everyone gets two turns. For an additional fee, you can have the instructor fly you up higher and do some more flips and tricks. For our first time, the basics was more then enough for us. There is also a video being taken of you while you're flying which is available for purchase. The activity was tremendously exciting, a little bit frightening, a little bit difficult, but loads of fun, especially if you've never experienced anything like it before. The instructor does a good job leading you and instructing you on what to do. It's completely safe. And at the end, you get to watch the instructor do some amazing tricks in the wind tunnel. It's very fun to watch, but clearly requires a lot of time and practice to master those skills. I would highly recommend trying it at least once.

Yelp
Austin was our flight guide today. His pre training class was fun and he is so personable and sweet. This is me and my 2 besties 50th birthday celebration year and we're doing new and exciting things each month to celebrate. This was one of those things. We were not really scared since the minimum age is 6 lol and Austin made it even less so. We purchased the 2 flight package. Each are 1 minute in length The 1st flight you stay near the bottom so that you get comfortable. The 2nd one had Austin pull you towards the top. We really had a great time. Afterwards we all got certificates and explanations on how to download our photos and videos. We can't wait to bring our grandkids back!

Yelp
Indoor skydiving is something I always wanted to try. I'm glad I had a chance to experience it with my sister and my friend. We had the best time and the best instructor. We had Hassan as our instructor, he made our time there fun and enjoyable. We upgraded our package to go up about 20ft higher, and it was worth it. I was nervous at first, but after the first time I was ready to go again. I would definitely choose Ifly again, because I had an amazing experience.

Yelp
Last day of 2016. Why not do something fun? A dear friend of mine was celebrating his 30th birthday and was sooooo serious about bringing us here for some fun. Located right on Cobb Parkway and the 285 south exit, it's not hard to miss this place but I will say the parking lot got a little congested since there were a lot of people visiting. When I arrived, there were four self-checkin kiosks and several staff members at the registration area and since he had already made reservations, we were told to go ahead and use the kiosks to complete the registration and waiver forms. While we waited for our time slot (you have to arrive an hour before your time slot to ensure all registration is completed I guess), we went into the tunnel area and watched other groups during their flight time so we knew what to expect when it was out turn. Now I've been skydiving before so I wasn't afraid to do this but several people in my group were a little uneasy but it's essentially going into a huge tunnel and wind pushing you upward and if you don't pay the extra $10 "to go higher", you're not that far off the ground. Once our instructor came to get our group, he took us into a room for a quick training (maybe a five minute video and a 5 min Q&A session). Afterwards, we were told to take off all jewelry and to place everything from phones to wallets to sweatshirts in the lockers provided by ifly. We were then given suits, googles, a helmet, and ear plugs...and it was time to fly. The instructor was really funny and you gotta remember all the hand signals or your flight could be a disaster (more than one person had to have the wind turned off because they were out of control). Each person is given two turns to fly and while you're in the tunnel, pictures and a video are taken and you can buy them if you like. Once it was my turn, stepped in the tunnel and the instructor guided me the whole time. Again, there are several hand signals to remember but once you're in their and there's nothin but wind moving you around, it's kinda hard to remember to keep your chin up but I survived. Once our group was finished, the instructor goes back into the tunnel and puts on his own cool show and runs up the wall or flys in and out the door. We then turned in all our equipment and were rewarded with certificates (cute). It was pretty fun but I guess since I've been skydiving already, the pricing is kinda questionable. I will say it's something family, friends, co-workers, and pretty much anyone else will enjoy. Good times.
