Garden was smaller than expected and terraced on a steep slope. Stonework blends nicely in with the greenery and lots of intricate sculptures somewhat faded from their former glory. You have to imagine what it must've been like in its heyday. Be nice to have some info included for £10 entrance fee. Cafe was excellent. Walled Garden salad bowl was superb.

An absolute delight. Tucked away in the very heart of the countryside these beautiful gardens provide the perfect escape. From manicured lawns, clipped box hedges, to wilderness walks with the ever present sound of trickling water through the Japanese garden and on down the terraced walks. Full of fascinating statuary and follies to sit in this place is an artistic delight. This garden has it all and even the gardeners know it!! The cafe/restaurant serves excellent food with buns to die for.

Great gardens in the art and craft tradition. Multiple garden rooms hugging the hillside. There is limited capacity so it's a good idea to book in advance for specific entry time slot.
Iford Manor also has a lovely restaurant and separate cafe. Good choice of dishes all prepared onsite using locally sourced produce.

What a delightful time we invested at Iford Gardens; we’ll be back!! From our entrance welcome discussions, to the advice from one of the garden team, through to pausing a while at all the beautiful vistas - what a place to spend real quality time…
The pond was full of life…
And the cafe offering, even well after lunchtime, was top notch.

A characterful manor and stunning gardens in Italianate style and stunning setting. Lunch in the smart indoor/outdoor restaurant was delightful, presented and served most professionally. We did not sample the equally smart café but it looked first-class. All this made for a great visit and birthday lunch, all for a modest entrance fee.

I felt like stepping into a secret garden run by elegant gnomes—lush, labyrinthine, and absurdly photogenic. You’ll want to move in, adopt a peacock, and write poetry. You need as a minimum 2 hours to visit. Also, there is jazz music during the summer
