IGA Banff

One of the main grocery store at Banff, just like other grocery store it’s well sized with bright interior, with wide selection of veggies, foods, snacks and other household items. It’s well priced and you can use and collect scene points here. It’s good for traveller who didn’t bring some items you can find it here. Located near several hotels and resorts and near bus stop. Parking is easy in front of the store.

Good range of products and reasonable prices considering we're in (the centre of) Banff. Not as big a supply of different products as we have seen in other centres but happy with what is available plus a few specials assisted. Quality seemed good at first glance across the range of fresh items such as fruit. Trying their range of deli in-house samosas for dinner too (slightly spicy but good). Lady on the check out was pleasant and cheerful. No dramas. Parking available on site, was relatively easy when we arrived in our car but was tight and at a premium as we were leaving.

This is the most touristic grocery in town, not because of what they sell but because most buyers are visitors. It is not too big of a size, and not too small, just enough to navigate stuff. The price is expensive, but it is walkable since it is near the hostels. It sells what you need. Also, they have some over-the-counter meds, which is why I came here.

Expensive and crowded, but likely has what you need. The workers were stocking shelves every time I was in the store. I was there three times in three days (don't ask) and each time they were bustling with business. Shoppers were a bit rude, not letting people move around with carts (I didn't use a cart because of the crowds) and were pushy like they were going to miss out on something. It was odd...the workers were busy so they were a bit short when you asked to find something, but otherwise the store was fine. Don't try to park in the parking lot with a truck! The spaces are far too small for that and people do not park inside the lines of their space, so could get door dings and scratches.

Good selection of food items - traditional grocery items located in the middle of town. Easy to find and get to daily What could be better? This place needs a better deli, bakery and cheese options. For example: they have a huge deli counter but they don't make custom sandwiches, they just tell you sandos are in the refrigerator nearby. Limited hot deli items too... ...but the veggie quiche was good!!😁

We went here for a quick stop to pick up some protein bars. The staff at the checkout we interacted with were so incredibly rude. She treated us as if we were an inconvenience to her. This employee we spoke with talked down to us as if we were stupid, she is the old lady with an eyeglasses and she is the lady at the last checkout Maybe Remind them that you are a grocery store in the middle of the tourist spot and it is natural to be busy. We went here in the afternoon, on February 15.

Everything is extremely overpriced. It’s like a giant gas station convenience store. Little selection of items at marked up prices. Very quick check out which is nice. Very small and busy parking lot. Pretty much the only grocery store in downtown Banff.

Good array of regular groceries, hot food/roast chicken. Premises are clean. Prices are expensive but understandable for its location in central Banff. Free parking for customers but it is often full.
