Iglesia De Achao

Amazing wooden church. For good reason it's patrimonio de la humanidad. The wood inside is so beautiful.

The oldest church in Chiloe. It's great to see the inside and admire the woodwork and historical engineering. It's also still an active church, not just a museum.

Churches are everywhere in Chiloé and this is a very beautiful example of one.

One of the most beautiful and special churches in Chiloé. Don't miss it! Just look at the ceiling, it's amazing how well preserved this building is.

A "must" to know, in my humble opinion, beautifully restored, located in a cosy little town, no pics inside are allowed but you can even smell the wood wonderfully crafted, if you are interested in Chiloe's churches it worth a visit.

The nicest church we have seen in Chiloe. Check the opening hour before coming. The inside is definitely worth a visit!

It’s closed on Monday. All are closed on a Monday. I am not sure what days they do open, but I know that on Mondays all are closed.

Worth taking the ferry over for. It’s a neat looking church you can actually go inside.
