One of the few Chiloe churches that was actually open, but I suspect that might have had more to do with the funeral that was being held there just after we left. Not sure it's open otherwise and as usual, there is no reliable information. Loved the exterior with the stars at each side of the bell tower and the simple but lovely sky blue and white color scheme.

We arrived at 13:55 and waited 30 minutes for the opening time, but no one came to open it even though there was a sign - each day open from 10:30-13:00 and 14:30-19:00. We left at 14:50 and still closed!

It is totally recovered and maintained in perfect state, including painting and everything, one of the few of all the island. Its open most of the time. No regular mass.
