Iglesia Mayor Prioral

Lovely church to walk around . Watched the "Solemn Procession" through the town on the previous Sunday , so it was good to see the various religious artefacts used then .

From the outside it is maintained work in progress, inside lovely to walk around

Loved this church When we were approaching it was loads of people milling around and we soon realised it was a religious parade as they had just taken a festival icon into the church So we had playing recorders and drums creating a marvelous atmosphere We were able to look around church as the people took the procession outside to a tumult of music The church itself was full of icons used in religious festivals which I have never seen so close up before So if you are in Cadiz I recommend you visit this church first as it's full of history and so beautiful And it's free to get in

Did not take any pictures from the inside because of respect. Learn from the church in Zaragoza. It's very nice inside and out that's for sure.

You cannot imagine the beauty of this church from the outside. A must visit if your nearby.
