This restaurant is so popular that it’s hard to get a reservation, but that just shows how good it is! 🥹 Every time I visit, I make sure to order the steak fajitas. It’s fun to mix and match the ingredients your way, making it even more delicious. I also highly recommend trying the mango margarita – it’s so good, but be careful as you might find yourself a bit tipsy while sipping away! The tacos are also fantastic. When you order tacos, they’ll ask if you prefer “soft or hard,” which refers to the tortilla type. This time, I tried the hard shell, and it was crispy like nachos – a fun and unique twist! Once again, I had an amazing meal at my favorite restaurant in Budapest! 😋

Had a great time coming to this place. Walked in on a friend's recommendation and they definitely upheld their rapport. We had a few different dishes and a good cocktail. The food did take a little longer then wanted to come out but nothing to bad. The food was delicious and good sized portions. Would go back again.

I recently visited Iguana that has a cool vibe. When you walk in, there’s a lively bar area packed with people, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The prices are fair, and the portion sizes are generous. The food itself was great—flavorful and well-prepared. However, the service was a major downside. The staff was unfriendly, bordering on rude, which is hard to overlook, especially since the 12% service fee is automatically added to the bill. If we’re expected to pay this, it’s only fair to expect at least a warm attitude from the staff. On top of that, my friend couldn’t finish his meal and asked the waiter to pack the leftovers. Instead of doing it, the waiter just handed him a box and bag and told him to pack it himself. This really added to the sense that customer service wasn’t a priority. Another issue was the umbrella situation. Since it was raining, we had to leave our umbrellas at the entrance, where there was a messy pile of about forty umbrellas. When I expressed concern to the hostess about finding mine later, she brushed it off. Unsurprisingly, when we left, our umbrellas were gone, taken by someone else. No apology was offered, which was disappointing. Overall, the food and atmosphere were great, but the service and handling of certain situations could definitely be improved.

Solid Tex-Mex spot in Budapest! We were really impressed with the food (especially Al Pastor tacos) and service. We’re originally from Texas, so we have a high bar for Mexican food and this place really does a good job with the food and drinks. Having a decent Mexican option this far from home is amazing. Great homemade hot sauces, too!

Amazing Mexican restaurant with delicious food and a vibrant atmosphere! The service was outstanding, especially thanks to our waiter, Tamás, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. His recommendations were spot on, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Amazing Mexican restaurant close to the Parliament. The Fajitas were excellent and they even gave us a free corona straw here. The prices are fair and the portions are generous. Definitely recommend this restaurant but reserving a table is recommended.

I am Mexican and I can say that the food at this place is very similar to Mexican Food (considering that it is on the other side of the world of course). The tacos al pastor are really good and the fajitas to make tacos transport you to the north of Mexico. Ask for the number 10 sauce and if you dare, the spiciest one in the place.

Since moving to Europe from Texas we’ve missed good Mexican and Tex Mex. Iguana Bar and grill has the best Tex Mex we’ve had on the continent. Amazing frozen margaritas, chips and salsa and really decent burritos. Is it spicy? No. Is it tasty? Yes. Also, the restaurant feels like your local Tex Mex joint. Ambiance was great and servers were kind enough to tell us we wanted to order too much and suggested half portions. Definitely a great little gem in Budapest!
