IGUASSU GUEST HOUSE

Just what I needed - Only a 2 minute walk from the Central Bus Station, this place feels more like a hotel than a hostel. Daily room cleaning service providing fresh sheets and towels. Great breakfast with fresh fruit, juices, and yogurt among others. Friendly and helpful staff that can book a tour for you, call you a cab, tell you where to get a great bite to eat, or how do do the falls on you own. Relaxing and laid back, with a pool and enough room where you can spread out. Highly recommended.

Nice hostel with great showers, clean, well located, breakfast was good. The only thing is that they will tell you bus prices are the same at their hostel that at the station and I don't like people that lies. They offer me iguazu to sao Paulo for 210/235R and I paid 176 at the station. Just buy it there😉 and save yourself money

Very nice guest house in foz de Iguazu. Not expensive. Beds are good and cleanliness perfect. Take care of photos attached it's half the hostel, and half the hotel just in front :-)

The location is superb, as it is super near the bus terminal which makes it really convenient to take the buses that go to the Iguazú Falls and Itaipu Dam (BRL3.55/pax)! Just outside the terminal are also the bus stops for the buses that go to Ciudad del Este (BRL5.50) and Puerto Iguazú (BRL5). It is also around a 5-7 mins walk to a huge supermarket Super Muffato. The hostel can provide laundry services for BRL15/kg but we found a laundromat Lavanderia Mariah Laundry just 3-5 mins walk away that charges BRL9/kg. The clothes were available for collection on the same day afternoon. On the rooms, we were given the Itaipu room on the upper floor initially but just before we went to bed, we spotted 1-2 bed bugs on the mattress. Requested for a change of room after and thankfully the Cataratas room was available, and we shifted there (it’s smaller than the Itaipu room though). No bed bugs bite that appeared after we left following our 2-nights stay.

Nothing special as a hostel. Few people. Dirty and old linens. The stuff were doing a lot of noise (watching tv for example) during evening/night. The breakfast was ok.

Great hostel. Value for money, helpful staff. A swimming pool, a pool table too. Decent breakfast, towels... What more can you want?
