The room is simple but clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a good variety of food. The staff was very polite and friendly. The location is amazing and you can find the mall a very close proximity, right around the corner of the hotel.

The good: Lots of amenities and shopping within walking distance. Nice views of the city. Nice size rooms. Window opens wide which is unusual for a high-rise like this. Decent breakfast. The bad: Only one towel, even though I booked for two. It's a bit run down. Bottom of bathroom door is falling apart from water damage. Shower head sprays in EVERY direction from calcification. Blood stain on sheets. Cigarette burn on bedside table and lots of other little things that should be easily fixed or restored. Other than that, it did the job and I cannot complain. I'm just glad my girlfriend couldn't arrive until the next day when I had a much nicer place!

Save your time and money. This place is outdated and damaged. Reception is rude as hell. The woman at reception seemed disgusted that 3 people were traveling. A female and two males. Husband and I slept on a full size bed that was made of two twin beds. Unfortunately, one side of the bed broke in the middle of the night when my husband kissed me. Ended up sleeping slanted and falling into his mattress. Our friend slept on what appeared to be a roll out hospital bed. The shampoo and soap that are provided are the worst quality. The only good thing about this place was breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel with three friends during the World Cup. It is a very nice hotel, rooms not large, but comfortable and clean. It was exactly the wrong hotel for us but for someone wanting American style comforts it should be great. Breakfast is good and plentiful. I don't remember about the internet thing another reviewer mentioned. They must have had it in the room or I would have remembered the lack of it. There is a nice pool on the roof and there are great views of the city from there. They don't call it a business hotel for nothing. It's not close to anything a tourist would want to see in Salvador but it's a safe location with pretty good taxi service, so if you prefer more familiar surroundings this might be a good choice for you. For us, we'd have preferred to be closer to the waterfront with all the local bars instead of going to a mall with chain restaurants.

Nice staff, the elevators are quick, fresh fruits and juices and coffee present at breakfast, the vicinity is clean, great view area from the hotel as you can tell from the photos I've posted, fellow visitors are polite usually say good morning or good day, Taxis are usually right in front of the hotel, if not, then there is a line up of them on the side street from the corner of the hotel area, oh hey the mall 'Shopping da Bahia' (previously called 'Iguatemi') is right across the street (and here's a tip, enter the mall from inside the parking lot, just lookout for cars while crossing and such), and did I mention there is a Walmart like just steps way (maybe one quick block), hotel also has wifi, and a weight room, so thence and hence the hotel is a great experience all around I say :) wishing you all the best on your travel!

Stayed @ Iguatemi Business Flat for 2 days in early february 2012. The room is small but clean. There is no complementary access to internet - they charge US$10 for a 24h access. The bed is just average. Breakfast is good, with juices, fruits and breads. Note close tothe beach, but close to officce buildings and the 2 biggest malls in Salvador: Iguatemi and Salvador Shopping. If you are looking for a short stay, close to the officce buildings and the HQ of some Bahia COs and the government - it is an option. Otherwise there are many others hotels @ the same price....

A nice hotel with a gym and a pool. It's near a shopping mall and a supermarket. The rooms are nice and there is a small kitchen and a small living room. A good hotel to spend some days if you need to stay in Salvador.

It's a beautiful place. I liked of the room where happened the event, it was very comfortable and expansive with a big space for all event participants.
