Iguazu Jungle Lodge

Summary - Recommended. Large modern rooms. Huge salt water swimming pool. Details - We stayed three nights at the lodge. Room 106 had two queen beds, two large closets, large shower, and bathtub jacuzzi. Balcony had chairs facing the jungle with a partial view of small waterfall. Salt water swimming pool was great with both shallow and deep areas. Swim up bar. Life guard on duty was friendly and fun to chat with. Front desk staff were helpful answering our questions and arranging taxis for us. Grace was the travel agent in the lobby who arranged our visit to Iguazu Falls Park. Other staff members were always cleaning the area or the pool, and maintaining and painting. The lodge area is quite large, and everyone did a good job making it look nice. Many restaurants and stores are located within a 15-20 minutes walk. Note that part of the walk is uphill. The hotel can also arrange a taxi for you via WhatsApp. Our one complaint is the hotel restaurant. We had breakfast three times and dinner one night. The restaurant staff did a poor job of clearing dirty dishes. Service was slow. The breakfast food was average. The dinner was bad. Our food did not come, and we asked about it after 45 minutes. It had been sitting in the kitchen and was cold when it finally arrived. Our seafood tagliolini was so bad that we did not eat it, so the waitress took it off the bill. The pasta was overcooked and mushy. The seafood was not fresh. The arugula salad was wilted and had too much dressing. Some arugula pieces were only stems. The next table also had an arugula salad that looked just as bad.

Thank you very very much for the stay at the Iguazu Jungle resort. Thank you immensely for connecting us to the taxi driver Alcides. He was fantastic, always on time and very helpful and friendly. He took care of us several times over the four days. The staff at checkin and the restaurant are superb, kind and friendly. The food is delicious and not expensive and the interior is a gorgeous setting. There entire resort is beautiful and enchanting. We could not be happier with our stay.

The resort is beautiful, and the grounds beautifully kept. Our room was impeccable, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. ||The service was efficient albeit not warm. We appreciated the courtesy and care of our arrival and the services of a concierge to help us plan our Iguazú Falls visit.||The pool is wonderful, the breakfast comprehensive if not extraordinary and the games area enjoyable even if the equipment was a bit old.||Our main suggestions for improvement: ||1. There is absolutely no shade in the pool area, making it impossible to enjoy the area during the scorching sun or teeming rain the characterize Puerto Iguazú. Having one umbrella for each two lounge chairs would be a small, smart investment. (Also: The towels are old and frayed; invest in new ones!).||2. Given the hot, humid climate. eliminate the unwelcome surprise charges for the bottled water in the fridges, or at least offer guests more than two complimentary bottles for their stay. One bottle per person, per day should be the minimum.||3. Move the checkout time to a more sensible 11:00 am, so that guests can enjoy their breakfast. Let the guest's final memory be one of relaxation, not rushing.||4. Finally, the staff could take a more personal interest in the guests. This distinguishes a good property from a great one. ||Recommended, with opportunities to improve. Gracias y hasta pronto!

A wonderful 4-star retreat in a peaceful setting. Only a 15 minute walk to town, the setting is quiet for those looking to avoid the sometimes hectic and loud seven corners area. Rooms are generously sized and comfortable. The shower floor is a little slick, though, so you need to be careful. Breakfast was decent, with enough selections for varying tastes. We ate dinners in town, so can't comment on quality or pricing for that - though it's nice to have the option available. Pool area was great during the day. Current construction activity was limited to daytime hours, which I barely noticed. As a travel agent, I wouldn't hesitate to book clients at this property.

I thought it was great for the bang for the buck. Free Breakfast in the AM. Eggs were a little runny but the rest was ok. It’s free so not complaining. Made my own mimosas, had a juice bar, coffee area, European breakfast, scrambled eggs, fried eggs and pastries. Very comfy bed and pillows for a foreign hotel. Very updated. Amazing view of the river and of Brazil. 2 pools. We used the nice one by the bar. They take you and your luggage on a golf cart to get to your room. It was great. All in all. Can’t beat it.

My first time in Argentina, but hopefully not my last. What a beautiful country, incredibly friendly people, and you really have to experience the waterfalls at least once in your life. The accommodations are incredibly neat, spacious, and clean. The staff also deserve a compliment, especially Manuel. He's passionate about his work and knows how to interact with people.

Great hotel and restaurant. Staff was over the top— bartender, life guard, restaurant staff. Highly recommend staying here and will stay there again in the future. Large rooms, well maintained and very clean. After dinner I asked to purchase a bottle of wine to take back to our room to watch the Super Bowl and they put it in an ice bucket—outstanding service!!

Great hotel, staff and restaurant. Should be all 5 stars but for some reason Hotel has few umbrella’s at the pool. Almost no shade while sun is strong and hot. Result is that very few people use pool during most part of the day. Staff informed they get often remarks but no corrective Action. We have spent 5 days which were great, despite the comments. Hope they Will fix this small but annoying topic.

My family and I have spent three nights at the hotel, in April 2024, based on my cousin's recommendation, who already visited three times. We stayed in a spacious room (room 214) on a high floor of one of the large buildings. The room offered a view of the jungle and the Iguazu River. It comfortably fit four people, with two large beds. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub with a jungle view. My son loved that he had instant access to Netflix to watch movies. The food at the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was included in the rate and offered a buffet selection. It was the same every day, it would have been nice to mix it up a bit. In the evenings, we went with à la carte dinners, where we consistently started with a provolone appetizer and then explored the variety of steak cuts available. The hotel also had a game room, where we spent some time playing table tennis and pool.

Paid for 2 bedroom and 1 bath. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing. Able to make great suggestions on trips outside the falls. Welcomed us with coffee and fresh OJ. The included breakfast was amazing, hot Items, fruits, pastries, nuts. Only problem I had a broken AC unit which they couldn't fix on a cold night. Resort is about 15 mins walk to city center.

Small little cluster of cabins remote by the river... wonderful staff and grounds. The pool is lovely as are the rooms. Our room was more like a small condo.. 2 bedrooms and a living area. there is a play area indoors for the kids, foosball table, pool table, tv area and ping pong table.. plenty of open space to run and relax. The restaurant was very good.. buffet breakfast with everything you could want.. bit hot.. bit cold.. great coffee.. and the dinner there was lovely.
