IHOP

Food was average for IHOP, could have been warmer but tasted fine. Surprisingly it came out quickly. Restaurant was pretty empty, might have contributed to the speed. Liberty was our waitress and she was great! Very friendly and prompt and came by several times to check on us.

RUN!! I have never had such horrible service and charged $20 over our check amount. - A group came in 5 min after us. That group had eaten and left before we even got food. - the host told us our server was in the bathroom. It took 20 minutes to get drinks. -Another group arrives and was seated to our left (30min after us). They had the same server and got their food just before we did -another group came after them, and they were the first of the three to get their food -after giving us our drinks, we never saw our server again until he messed up our Check -A female server had to get our food for us, half of which was cold and had to be sent back and she had to handle all of his mistakes -the male server brought us a check for $32, my husband gave him our card, and he brought our receipt showing we were charged over $49 I went up to the register to see what the problem was, and this guy seemed absolutely clueless. The female server gave me a receipt showing that we had been refunded the 49+ dollars and I was given a new receipt. Needless to say this guy did not get a tip. We asked if he was new she said no, he’s been here longer than her. There was no manager on duty, and there was absolutely no excuse for this.

I'm an IHOP junkie, I love my Breakfast Sampler and I love all the other dishes! LOL 😁 My middle name is IHOP 😊 I know my orders so well that I can walk into any IHOP and be ready to order. It was no different in this one. However, I had to wait for my 2 boys to pick out what they wanted. You should know I've tried out every omelet and almost every burger they have. I've had all the breakfast dishes on the menu also. That's how much I eat at IHOP. This location was good with a minor issue. The cook messed up both of my boy's orders. However, and this is my personal true measure of a company, someone fixed it. Shirley our waitress didn't try to blame anyone even though it was very clear the cook gave us the wrong thing, apologized, then she made it right. She didn't have to ask a manager or anyone else, that's empowerment to me. It also speaks well of the cook. I've worked at IHOP and sometimes, those guys can be hard to work with and don't want to be wrong. When that happens, they won't redo your order and the waitress is left holding the bag. Shirley handled the little mishap well and we just moved on. It was handled and I was happy 😊 Here are things that are important to me that I look for at a restaurant: - Cleanliness of the restrooms - 4 star for this location - Cleanliness of the store itself - 5 star for this location - Customer Service - 5 star for this location - Working Tap at the register - 5 star for this location. Well, IHOP has started using a QR code on the receipt to pay and it was fun to show Shirley how this worked, she didn't know 😊 This was a good experience and I recommend this IHOP. 👍👍

You know a lot of people tend to leave reviews when they’re unhappy. I think it’s really important to leave reviews when people go above and beyond. A lot of people deserve it and very few actually ever get credit. I don’t know if IHOP is the kind of company that recognizes exceptional employees. They should my server Renat was freaking awesome. I hope the company gives him some recognition, and I will definitely be back because of him. Good people deserve good things!

Food was good - received some/most of my order. The waitress never checks up on you. So don't be expecting a tip when you only took the order and never returned we almost got charged for an "upgrade" that i asked for but didn't receive i asked for hot sauce never saw it till food was gone. This place some times is a ghost town when we get there and even when we have been the only 1 or 2 groups there this issue still is consistent must be a employee issue within this location.

This place has definitely improved since the manager is here and keeping things in check with the servers. Previous experiences here were literally horrible and we had a female waitress who completely ignored us and we had to leave before ordering. The time before we had her and she was only interested in chatting it up w coworkers. Thank goodness they’re being held accountable now. It’s a pleasant and clean atmosphere. Previously not so much.

Awesome Father's Day venue 🎈 Our waitress was beyond amazing. They were short staffed and she was handling all the tables. She kept everyone taken care of was so friendly. D

Don't waste your money! We were the ONLY people in the restaurant and the service was SO slow!! Not only that but the food was awful. Like eating burnt cardboard. I am normally super positive about places but I would probably give them a zero if I could.

Food took a while to come out, which was okay since we weren't in a hurry. But the server brought the wrong pancakes (strawberry banana), then the right pancakes (regular with strawberry syrup). One of our omelets came with the pancakes, the other several minutes later. That late omelet was ordered as cheddar, ham and hashbrowns. We got colby jack cheese that wasn't melted and hashbrowns that were burnt and crispy. The eggs were still quite runny and the entire thing was barely warm. Our server checked on us once, not even stopping as she walked past with a quick "you still good?" We didn't get offered refills on our drinks (soda and water) and when it came time to pay we were given a total and she just stood there, expecting us to realize that our card would be run tableside without being offered a receipt to verify the total prior to payment. As we left, I noticed that the girl working the hostess station was crouched behind the counter so no one could see her, drawing on herself with a pen and ignoring anyone who walked by. The walkways outside were dangerously icy with no sign that they had put out ice melt to try to keep their customers safe. The pancakes were good, though.

ZERO STARS Arrived, we waited about 20 minutes, even though they had plenty of tables. All of them needed to be cleaned off! Our waitress wasn't very good, she only asked us how our food was, not if we needed anything else. She was unfriendly. We ordered breakfast crêpes, and Cinnabon crêpes, and three for $5. Eggs, bacon, pancakes. The crêpes were horrible, they looked awful from the moment they came out. We still ate them because we didn't want to complain. About an hour after leaving the restaurant, I started feeling sick. I started feeling sick more and more throughout the day. The next morning, I started throwing up! I got food poisoning from IHOP crêpes! I do not recommend going to this restaurant, or eating their crêpes! Order something different !!

It's become a tradition for me and my brother to make a trip to IHOP on Veteran's Day. It's the the one and only time we both ever visit this place, not because it's bad or anything, but simply because it's free breakfast for veteran's on that day! Located not too far off from the I-15 in American Fork, the restaurant probably sees a lot of traffic from interstate travelers in between the local regulars. Of all the times I have been here, every single visit has been what I would expect from a diner of this caliber. The menu covers enough for all age ranges and the offerings are varied enough that I'm sure there will always be something for anyone, no matter what time of day it is. The Veteran's Day breakfast has always been delicious for me. The hash browns are hot in the middle, crispy on the outside. The bacon is just normal bacon, that is cooked just right. Not the just under cooked or the just overcooked bacon bits level of bacon. Just the right amount of chew and crunch. Eggs will be how you want them. I usually get scrambled or over easy and both ways have been prepared as requested. The pancakes though. They are good. Usually pancakes can be dense and overwhelming. IHOP seems to be very consistent with making pancakes that don't fill you up to the point of regret. They are light and have just enough weight to them that leaves you satisfied when you're done. The whipped cream topping and the berries on the red,white, and blue pancakes make for a good bite every time. You can do without the maple syrup, honestly. The staff there have always been nice and attentive. Parking is easy to find and the location itself is clean and maintained. Overall, great location in my opinion and consistent food, granted I only come here once a year!

The food was really good but the female waitresses were complaining at each other very loudly the whole 40 minutes we were there. There was an older blonde lady who I'm guessing was the manager and she would not leave the other waitress alone, even though she was busting her butt with all the tables. Having the workers getting in each other's business very loudly and very disrespectfully is not the way to go about things in general but especially when you have tables full of people.

The worst food i have eaten in a restaurant in a long time !! I wish i would have taken pictures i ordered a T-bone steak breakfast and at first it came out over cooked and grey ! I thought ok give them a chance i sent it back i wanted med rare they sent me a raw grey steak IDID NOT pay for it !! My dad ordered chicken fried steak breakfast with gravy the steak was the kind you buy at Walmart and the gravy was lumpy and flavorless!! Needless to say neither one of us ate anything!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!

The food is good. That's what's giving this review the two stars. We came there for my son's birthday and this is what happened: There was only one girl and she was the hostess, server, and busboy to ours and all the tables in the whole restaurant. She was nice but it's too much for one person to handle. We had to ask for drink refills, straws, syrup, etc. I used the bathroom and one of the stalls doesn't lock and the toilet in it doesn't flush. When coming back to our table, the rest of my sandwich was gone. The food that I wasn't finished with yet. My wife had told the girl I wasn't done yet and yet she still took it away. Oh also, one table of people that got there after we did, got their food brought to them before we got ours. Needless to say, we won't be coming back anytime soon. Which is a a shame because I really like the food there.

The food and service were great! We were the only customers in the restaurant- 2:30 PM on a Saturday, so our waiter was our personal waiter. Our waiter was super friendly and welcoming. Now, let's talk about the food! The waffles were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. My little boy loved them! I got the spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken was nice and crisp on the outside and juicy inside. There were tons of grilled bell peppers and onions on it. I really liked the spicy sauce on it. I will be getting this next time and asking for a side of the spicy sauce to add extra on my sandwich. My husband ordered the chicken fried chicken. He said it was really good. I've never frequented ihop before but was impressed with the quality of the food and service.

Ordered online went at my time that I supposed to pick up waited over an hour for my food as it sat there getting cold wouldn't give me a refund wouldn't remake it

Ordered Buffalo Strips and Waffles+Chicken from here. The food was okay, but we had a fantastic waiter named Ty. He was very sincere, checked in on us with our drinks frequently. Fantastic service!

Our group came in tonight, and it was very busy. With staffing shortages, we were so impressed with our Server, Robert. He was working so hard, nonstop, and taking care of everything! He was super awesome and friendly. Even though we waited longer than usual, it was worth the experience because of Robert. Thank you for making this a pleasant experience. The food was yummy and hot. Thank you.

I went here the other day with my two kids. The service was great and the food was to be as expected. I was checked on many times during my stay, coffee refilled, etc. My waitress was Abigail, she was attentive and kind. Aside from the great service and food, the establishment was very very clean, with hand sanitizer stations readily available. I recommend this establishment and I am perplexed as to why it's gotten such bad reviews.

Me and my husband came here after a long night and thank goodness we did!! We were sat very quickly for a Saturday night and had great service! Ryann was our server and she was super nice and had a great heart. Was quick and responsive and really made our night a peaceful one! Thank you Ryann and thank you chili's for the great service

All I could eat meal was so cold waitress acted like she didn't care people that came after us got their meal first

ihop served my husband and I undercooked chicken. They told me they couldn't comp our meals because we requested the kids eat free. Eventually they comped the whole meal, but it wasn't easy. My food was the spicy chicken ranch sandwich. The husband ate the boneless fried chicken. Here's hoping salmonella are not in our future! The service was slow, but the server was polite. Never again will I eat here!

We used to love IHOP. Things changed a few years ago when we had a terrible experience at this location. Last night we decided to give it another try. Bad idea!! The place is dated. They did not have a hostess but a waitress did seat us after a short wait. We ordered and then waited about 25 minutes for our breakfast menu items. My wife's egg was burnt. I had ordered no butter on anything. The pancakes arrived with a big pile of butter in the middle. I pointed that out to the waitress who took it back to the kitchen. Moments later she returned and placed the plate of pancakes on the table without comment. I could see the circle and indentation on the pancake where someone had merely wiped the butter off and brought the same ones back. Another waitress who was apparently doubling as a manager came by and my wife explained about her burnt egg and the butter issue. She brought new pancakes and a freshly cooked egg. She apologized for the inconvenience. The food itself was just OK. All-in-all I would advise you to eat somewhere else. We will not be going back to this place.

The food was amazing! The hot chocolate was super well made and not too sweet. I had the cupcake pancakes and they were so good I didn't even need the syrup. The staff that I spoke with was also very kind and friendly. I'll gladly come back to this location :)

I prefer IHOP for breakfast; they have a great variety of meals that will suite everyone that is looking for pancakes, french toast, waffles, eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, etc. They also offer alternatives, like burgers, fries, and dinner meals too. I like IHOP for breakfast, anytime I am in the mood for breakfast food. Go. You will like it.

Wow. Looks like we need some better management. Came in on a Saturday morning and it wasn't too busy. Lots of empty tables and no line. Still, we waited 15 minutes to be seated. Our waitress never introduced herself and I wasn't even sure if she was the hostess or the waitress until she took our order. No suggested items to try, no discussion of specials, items not available. Nothing. Just a "Are you guys ready to order yet?" We finally got our meal and didn't see our waitress for 30 minutes. No follow-up at all. And my drink was empty that whole time. Food was good though. We just had some basic pancakes and eggs. No complaints there. I understand IHOP isn't the most prestigious restaurant and often hires young and inexperienced staff. I used to work there and I admit I had a lot to learn. But I did my best, and soon was doing well. The problem is the ones who don't care and don't try. Never saw any management, seemed like nobody was in charge and that explains the lax environment of the staff. We'll definitely try another breakfast place next time.

What's the point of ordering nuggets if they are an hour old and stale every time, not to mention a 10 price cost more then most meals.

The staff were amazing but the food was of poor quality. I was sick within 15 minutes of leaving the restaurant. Some strange sauce on the hamburger bun that did not sit well. Food was reasonable and location is good. Place was clean and well staffed.

We walked in there was about 5 people seated. We waited for 20 minutes until the cashiers took us to our table and we waited for our server for 15 minutes. We order our food and waited for another 15 minutes when our food came most of the food we ordered was cold. Smh we told them our food was cold and the girl that serve us apologized she's new and they're short servers that night! Very very bad!

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. My wife and I recently moved from California where we regularly visited IHOP at several locations throughout the state. We had never had bad service that is until moving here. Like others who came here late on a Saturday night the service is terribly slow, almost non-existent. After a 15-minute wait to be seated we waited another 15 to have our orders taken, then yet another 25 to get our meals. That's 55-minutes after entering. You might think maybe they were busy, NO! The young workers (with the exception of only one) were gathered together talking, joking, loudly discussing there weekend plans, etc. I was disgusted that tables around us hadn't been cleaned, there was trash and food from previous customers (probably young children) all over the floor, however the server simply stepped over it. I was so upset at the condition that I took photos to show to management but instead decided to post my comments here on YELP. If you're wondering why we stayed, (except for the fact that late night eating being in short supply in Utah), so am I...

First off, when I walk in, 2 employees are talking and dont notice I'm standing waiting. I had to ask them if I could get a table. I ordered an omelet with hashbrowns with a side of gravy and toast. I received the omelet and she was going to bring the gravy. I asked where the hashbrowns were and she said I didnt ask for hashbrowns. Well, then why would I need gravy?????? Had to ask for butter on my toast as you couldnt see any on it. Very disappointed in this IHOP!!!!

The service was poor at best and it took 20 minute for them to take my order. I saw the server 2 time in an hour and the manger looked lost, like she had no idea what was going on. I am a contract aircraft mechanic and have eaten at IHOP all over the US. The portions were small at best. All in all it was a very bad experience for me with IHOP and would not recommend that IHOP to anyone and probably will not go back to that IHOP for the rest of my time in Utah.

I would give this much less than 1 star if i could. Arrived for curbside pickup, sent them a message i was there and waited for 15 minutes, went in waited five more minute, checked my bag when i got to my car and there was no syrup and half my order was missing. Told them my sausage and our syrup was missing from my order, waited 15 more minutes for sausage and they gave me 1 small syrup cup. Definitely will not be coming here again.

This has been a great little place for us to go on Sunday mornings with friends or with kids. There's usually not a wait and we've enjoyed the food as well as the service, all for a great price. I like the omelettes but have been wanting to try other things, too. I am not a huge breakfast fan, but I really want to try their other options sometime.

We usually just come on free pancake day so it's a little busier probably than usual. It's a good breakfast place for kids because it's not super quiet.

I'm pretty drunk. Which is the only reason I'm here. Damn these crepes are expensive. I've been working on this review awhile. Food isn't here yet. Still drunk.

Worst Experience in a IHOP/IHOB EVER! My order got messed up, twice! I had to ask twice to have my water refilled, when I asked for lemons the waitress put them directly on the table... eww... It was .60 cent pancake day and they didn't have enough staff. There was only one cook (I over heard the waitress telling someone else), there were like 5 waitresses for the entire restaurant and they knew they would be busy? They did take the $1.20 of pancakes off the ticket, we were not compensated for waiting at the restaurant for over an hour. EVEN THOUGH WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE THERE WHEN WE GOT THERE... BESIDES 2 OTHER TABLES! I am highly highly disappointed in you IHOP! And unless I am getting a FREE MEAL... I will pick Waffle House or Denny's or any other place to eat dinner! If you guys are going to have a deal that brings in a TON of people, then please be prepared!

Good food and bad service...so sad. I brought my daughter to have some dinner. Found out from our server that kids eat free. Sweet. Food came out and it was great. When the bill came out we were charged for both meals. We figured that was to let us see the amount to tip before taking off the kids meal. Nope, we were charged full price. I asked the waiter to fix it and was told no. That it was too late and couldn't be changed. This was escalated to the snowflake manager. She came over to back up waIter, not to solve the problem. Then when I told her that was unexceptable she got flustered told me to stop hurting her feelings and left. So sad!

Eating here was a terrible experience the service was nonexistent we waited at our table for 15 minutes before our waitress showed up and then over half an hour for food that was overcooked. We won't go back

I got the chicken fried steak breakfast. Our waitress was inexperienced, but she did her best to attend us. When I got my food the country gravy on my chicken fried steak was coagulated and the steak was VERY dry. I think they may have either warmed my food in a microwave or it was left under a heat lamp for an extended period of time before I arrived. The over-easy eggs and sourdough toast were fine. Basically, if you're drunk and hungry this is a great choice. If you're looking for decent country style diner you should hit up black bear or Jim's.

Terrible service, food was undercooked. Took 2 hours to get food. Waitress was terrible, no refills. Brianna needs to be trained better.

Service was very friendly , food came in timely manner and tasted real good. the server was asking about how we did and everything fine. I don't understand why would people leave bad reviews. The place was awesome .

Our family comes here when we can't figure out what we want. There's a little bit of something for everyone at IHOP. Daughter usually gets a breakfast item, hubby goes for variety, and I have my 2-3 standbys. During dinner (4-6pm) it's busier than at breakfast (8-9am). Our favorite menu items: -Chicken fried steak (entree and breakfast) -Funny Face pancakes (kid) -Colorado Omelette (though hubby did say on our last breakfast trip his steak was super chewy and gristle-y) -Plain buttermilk pancakes (we often joke it's our dessert) -Pecan and old fashioned syrups

It was pretty slow in there we waited about 15 minutes to get seated, placed our order and that took about 45 minutes then we finally got our food it took forever for refills, so all in total wouldn't eat till an hour later staffers we're okay but the place was dirty, I Won't Go Back

We got to IHOP this here were four families waiting. No one greeted us for 20 minutes. We finally got seated, the floor was gross and needed cleaning. They weren't busy they had plenty of waitresses there standing around talking. We asked the people next to us that seemed upset how long they were waiting for their food. The ordered 30 minutes prior. We left! Won't ever return

My grandkids love the pancakes and eat so well. Esp nice when kids eat free with each adult... but sadly at least 3 out of 4 times I've brought them here they are understaffed and it takes forever. I'm not sure if it's servers but I think it may be lack of cooks?

The pancakes are always great. Eggs, bacon and sausage are hard to mess up and they do fine there too. Its nothing to write home about, but good solid food. However, the service needs some work. We waited forever to be seated even though there were servers standing and chatting. Apparently only 1 person is allowed to seat people? Also we've been there 3 times over the last year and each time the milkshake machine is broken. I'm starting to think it doesn't exist but they can't take it off the menu because corporate dictates that. We do still go back even with the poor service because there's never a line (probably because of the poor service) so if we didn't plan ahead and Chili's has a line out the door, we'll still stop by every now and then to keep the kids from whining that they're hungry.

Left the restaurant after not seeing a server for over 20 minutes. Really disappointing especially after telling the two hosts that we haven't seen anyone. Kind of expected that they would tell someone and we would at least go up a couple notches on someone's priority list. But still didn't see anyone so we decided to take our business to Denny's down the road. It was obviously busier than expected, so instead of letting us wait in the lobby for an extra couple minutes for someone to take care of us (which we would have happily done) they stretched the servers, frustrated their guests, and lost business. I would be shocked if we were the only ones that had a bad time. Let's see if anyone actually cares that I wrote this review.

Everytime me and my fiance come here we live the waiters! They are friendly and attentive. We always come on Sundays for a late breakfast and always find only one waiter who is practically running the whole show. Between being the hostess, bussing tables, and taking orders out. I can't say anything about the cooks because I don't know how many are available. I always enjoy coming here but, wish they had a little more staffing to help the singular waiter/waitress.

Terrible experience at this location. We found 4 hairs throughout the course of our meal. We let our server know she replaced the meal, then took two meals off the tab. We weren't asking for free food. In fact we approached her after we had paid. She implied we were putting the hair in the food. We talked to the manager who really didn't care. His nonchalant attitude was troubling. In fact instead of checking the kitchen a staff he dismissed us without any worry. In fact, no individuals visible in the kitchen had a hairnet of any sort. We won't be back!

Our server was great. There are definitely management and kitchen problems. Our breakfasts were mixed up and I heard a gentleman on one side of us and a lady on the other side of had the same problem. Our server seemed like the only one working and was always trying to fix the kitchen's mistakes and keep up with everyone. Prices are way too high for the quality. Especially the drinks. IHOP has always been a treat for us but there are plenty more options out there I will be trying out.

Ordered from here through Uber Eats in the early morning hours because this is the only food place open around for miles in any direction. Order was never confirmed, took about 20 minutes before I finally called them. No response. I called again to have an annoyed gentleman answer the phone to say they had no internet and that I was out of luck. I can respect that they were having tech troubles, but the staff should be a little more customer oriented I do think their food is tasty, and once again this truly is one of the only places open when I am working a graveyard shift, so they aren't so bad.

The waitress Ashlyn V deserves a raise. My friends and I came in after Sadie's and the poor girl waited on our table even though she was already an hour overtime. She also went around and was waiting on 4 or 5 different tables at the same time- they only had maybe three employees on that night. One family was so rude she came to check on us and she had obviously been crying, but she still powered through. She was also so funny and relatable, and deserves the biggest raise of the century.
