IHOP

We came in on a Sunday and it was not busy in side for dine in. Really clean Ihop. Amazing service! Food came out really quickly, perfectly prepared. We were very pleased with this location. Highly recommend it!

First and last time visiting this location, I ordered the 3 leches pancakes, the order have 4, only the one at the top had some butter and condensed milk on it, the other were dry and plain, also ordered 2 waffles, which both came undercooked, and just one tablespoon of whipped cream for both. Completely disappointed I waste almost $30 in food which ended up in a trash bin. As they threat customer worst than animals, serving inedible food, My personal advice is stay away.

The service was great and the food did not disappoint! The new French toast is delicious, also the Mexican pancakes with Carmel and whip cream....

Karla was an amazing server. She was so sweet and she gave us amazing customer service. Recommend her if you ever go to eat her! You will be satisfied and won't be let down ! She got our order right and she communicated with us about our food. 10/10. She did everything you would want as a great dine in experience.

Last time being here, past few times I came here the servers were kinda rude but we let it slide. Today there was a hair in my fries and the server said that it was my hair. I have light brown hair and the hair in the food is black….

Food was hot & taste was great, Our Server was polite, and food out to us quickly. My only issue was the Handicap ♿️ Ramp from the street to and the beginning of it needed work it was all torn up making it uneasy stepping onto it. I am an amputee, making it very dangerous for Seniors as well

The food was good. The young lady at the front was very professional and courteous. I went to do a pick-up. The wait wasn't long. I got breakfast for me and my cousin. I'm sure I'll go back again.

I had a mommy/daughter date!! Our food was cold, I don't send my food back(I work in the industry and know what ppl do to send it back) so I just don't go back. I tipped just to let my waiter know that if he would have gave me service it would have been better. Every customer deserves the treatment no matter what.

I would like to give amazing review and a big thank you to Deon for her service today, I also work at a restaurant and know how hard it can be maintaining each table, but her enthusiasm and absolute respectfulness was amazing, we deeply appreciate you waiting for us to finish praying to eat. my family and me will be coming back more often!

Two tries with DoorDash. Two months ago, our order was incomplete. Like, $30 worth of food missing. This morning I doordashed about $100 worth of breakfast and after an hour the order is still not ready. The driver called to say he's been waiting 20 min. I called. No answer. Called again. No answer. This IHOP gives no F's about you, your order, or your money. Getting a refund will be a huge hassle. Don't go to this one. Hot mess.

Came here from out of state to try this IHOP. Our food came out with No untensils or napkins. Just us sitting there with our food getting cold. The pancake was dry as hell, and the everyday burrito was bland and dry.

This location is pretty fast and accommodating. I came in with a stroller. They immediately gave me a booster seat and move my stroller to the side for me without asking we ordered our food, came out in a timely matter, and it was really good. I will most definitely be back at this location, thank you.

I scheduled an order for full stack pancakes to be ready by 10:00am. I later realized that I would have spare time before then and decided to pick up the order sooner. I arrived at 9:37am and the African woman handling pickup orders was very rude. I explained to her my situation and she told me that my order wouldn't come through until 10:00am. I replied saying I understood that, and was only wondering if the kitchen could squeeze in my order earlier since it's only a stack of pancakes. She quickly became annoyed and repeated her same statement. I left to go sit in my car until 10:00am. I've been going to this IHOP since I was a child and it saddens me greatly to see how the employees treat their customers. Mind you, I was only talking with this woman for less than two minutes. The IHOP I knew went above and beyond to try to server their community.

I cannot lie; this one caught me off guard, not because they are not capable of good service but because it has been a while since I have received good service and good food from IHOP. My kids wanted pancakes and waffles. This location was in our area at the time and, from the outside, looked busy Green flag. We were greeted promptly and seated shortly after. Not long after we placed our orders, food took a little while to arrive, which is understandable; again, they were busy. The food was tasty. I was not a fan of the waffle; it was too thick. The burger, my meal, was well cooked and seasoned with basic fries. We will return.

IHOP is a chain restaurant that I've frequented for most of my life. They're found in every state in America, plus DC and Puerto Rico. Where else can one find "all you can eat pancakes" for $5.99? Or a full pot of coffee (left on your table) which can be refilled endlessly for $2.99? This is my IHOP--the one I go to. You've got one that's close to you, too. Although the menu is somewhat predictable and not a gastronomic gold star, it's reliable. Also important to me, the environment is welcoming to all, with kid- and senior-friendly options. Breakfast is all I eat here. My two favorites continue to be the classic breakfast sampler (been on the menu forever), and the newer, big steak omelet.

From beginning to end the entire experience was HORRIBLE! Not only did they miss our seating reservation (on the list) the food took a very long time to come out and when I asked for extra condiments they were never brought out at that point the entire meal was ruined. Very disappointed especially when you watch everybody around you get every thing they requested in a timely manner

The next update they need to make ZERO STARS an option because this review warrants it. Unprofessional as hell. I come to dine in, I'm literally the only customer in there and I was there 10 minutes and no one came to my table. I walked out. Upon walking out, I asked the manager is anyone working, he's on the phone and tells me to hold on. Naah bruh, I aint wait a second longer. I left.

Horrible food, not reliable delivery, send pancakes without syrup and then blames delivery driver, crispy hash browns are soggy, so many problems. Order from Denny's instead

This place is soooooooo... good. When I walk in I just start drooling at the sight and smell of the pancakes!!!!

Walked to this Ihop while waiting for service in my vehicle. Burn some calories before pancakes! I used to frequent this Ihop decades ago and it was not great. That was then, this is NOW! There was a medium crowd of people, even though no school for kids today. The wait staff were all very friendly to everyone, not just their customers. My waitress was a lovely woman with a Jamaican (?) accent. Another waiter was a joyful man who clearly loves the Lord! Not overwhelming, just noticeable. Order was taken and food delivered quickly. I didn't have to wait for my check, which is always nice. The food was very good and the 3 side pancakes were huge! There is quiet music playing, mainly old school R & B. Not too loud to be distracting but nice enough to recognize an old song you may have forgotten. I ate almost everything and was stuffed! Thank goodness I walked a mile to get here! I can burn off those yummy pancake calories. I hadn't been to an IHOP in a long time, mainly because service was always bad no matter where I was. I'm happy to say, this location proves they are not all the same!

We were seated waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the back room. I think the servers forget about you once they seat you back there. My waffle was a little over cooked with my chicken and waffle meal. I dared NOT send it back because it took 45minutes to get or order to us. Table for 2! my sister and I decided to eat here instead of eating at church. Man! we were almost late for service messing with ihop - and the church is down the street. I will NEVER come here if I am in a rush! I don't think they understand the meaning of RUSH or refill

I had a dreadful experience at Bladensburg location on Tuesday morning. I placed a order takeout order for my family and I at 8:15am. My husband arrived at 8:40am so I expected to microwave but I was not expecting a incomplete order with a nasty and rude assistant manager poor customer service. When I placed the order they did not verify my 4 person order. I called to speak to the manager on duty named George to explain the problem but he was very nasty, rude and confrontational, unfortunately he took my order an was said "it was my fault I was missing a whole silver 5 meal and incomplete for 2 orders. My husband didn't leave until 9:30am. I will not be returning because of the poor customer service, customer recovery and how disrespectful and disappointing the assistant manager was to a customer.

Used to be my favorite IHOP however they recent changed the music and don't respond to requests as to why or if they can change it back. Makes most of the food unappetizing and give me headaches. Out side of the music it's a lovely IHOP very clean happy staff and good service with good food. Please find a better radio station. Preferably a local one.

Today y service was subpar. My waiter was a male who seemed to be alil occupied and rushing us. My order was incorrect and when I asked him for hotter hash browns and cooked bacon, the bacon came back Burnt!!!!!!! He got my pancake order wrong and there was no syrup on the table. I normally like this location but after today, I probably will never come back! I gave them 1 star because my fiancé food came out fine for him. I watched several waiters sitting down relaxing or eating while waiting to help guests. Just alil unprofessional for me during a Tuesday in the middle of the day.

Ok my service was good on this occasion and the server was quick and efficient. No wait at all and my food was good. Especially my Pumpkin Pancakes. l dropped one of my slice of bacon under the table and informed the waitress and she got me another order. Nice.. l definitely didn't want to miss out on that slice since l'm a huge bacon lover. l enjoyed my company with my mom and the coffee was on point as well. Be sure to check in thru yelp to receive your 15% off your check. Certain rules apply but l was able to use mine. Overall nice visit

My name is Meredith and my family and I ordered breakfast from our neighborhood IHOP in Bladensburg, MD, which we've been coming consistently for years. This has been again one of the best restaurant experiences we've ever experienced. Dionne (Our Waitress) and Julia (Store Manager) who have served us for years, greeted us with friendly smiles, professionalism and extremely prompt amazing service! All the food was was outstanding, super fresh and mouthwatering. The ambiance is very beautiful and laid back. Their dedication to excellent customer service and professionalism is second to none and reflects great credit upon themselves and the IHOP brand. My overall rating undoubtedly is 5 out of 5 stars without hesitating. Dionne and Julia both deserve big raises and the biggest recognition/honorable mention for their amazing friendly service, attentiveness and professionalism. Thanks IHOP for hiring these jewels of employees to represent your magnificent restaurant business! :o)

I came today and it looks like they only had one server. No host nothing else. Terrible, experience. We had to leave after waiting over 20 min to get seated with 75% of the restaurant empty.

I wish i was able to give them a 0 star ...i wasn't happy at all when coming to IHOP .. my order took long to get made ' my cousin who was with me eggs was completely wrong ... Also a long piece of hair was in my food so i was definitely over it !! The MANGER WAS COMPLETELY I SAY COMPLETELY RUDE ! Only offer a 10% off after everything we went through... very a aggressive! We wasn't rude at all we was respectful an just wanted to be treated a little better with our service! I'll waiter was great but on other hand the manger SUCKS HER NAME IS MITCHELL PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!!!

THE WORSE!!! Literally sat at the restaurant for 25 min and NO ONE CAME TO SERVE US. I got the waiter attention and still no one came to our table to serve us. Beyond upsetttting!

COLD FOOD. Slow service, even if you place your order ahead of time you will still wait. Wish they would close, it's beyond frustrating. Nothing is worse than cold fries, why would they even serve them this way? Even with the restaurant half empty my food was still served cold. There's a reason police cars stay parked outside of the location, it angers me that iHop has yet to perform any type of quality inspection. 3-5 months isn't enough time to wait....I will simply encourage everyone I know to eat at Denny's or even Burger King next door...do. not. waste. your. money.

The server had a Major Attitude and they try to seat you in the lap of the next guest!!! Reorganization is a Must from Servers to Management

Do not come here unless you want to have a longer wait time than it will take you to eat. The staff is unhelpful and unresponsive.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My friend and I walked in and the host bucked at us as to ask what do we want. After asking for a table for 2 he grabs the menus and drops us off at our table in absolute silence. We waited for 20 mins and watched the waiters walk by us multiple times. No one acknowledged us except the bus boy. No one was even concerned as to why we were leaving. We were basically invisible to them the whole time. I feel like the staff would just rather baby sit the building than do their job. To be clear this was the night shift 9:45.

Service is extremely slow greeter wasnt at the desk when We arrived took her 10 min to appear after We were seated our waitress arrives takes our order for drinks took a few min to come when our drinks arrived My Mother inlaw had requested water with lemon, no lemon been sitting now 23 min no refills, hope it gets better with the food other wise I will not b paying, hold for end result... Ok so the food came & it was great, the server needs to work on Her customer service skills she literally threw the plates on the table, if I come back here I will not have her as a server, her name is Erma

Went to this ihop and the service was extremely slow. The server couldn't remember if she had brought coffee or tea, so she poured the coffee on her tray. Food took a very long time to come out and when it finally came out it was cold. Very cold. the waitress seemed to be annoyed with our party, but I'm unsure why. The staff was so unorganized they were picking up tables and dragging chairs all around our heads. It was a very troubling experience.

This IHOP is very small, but efficient. The service is on par with that of other IHOP's in the area. You can make a reservation in advance on YELP (for those busy Sundays) and you can order pickup in advance as well. The food was the same as at any IHOP, as were the drinks and prices. With a Check In, you receive 15% off your meal.

Places like this and people here never get the praise they deserve. BERNARD IS THE BEST SERVER EVER. He was quick, efficient, funny, charming and friendly. My BF and I only had an hour to eat and get back to work and with a 15 minute wait, he took us in quickly got our order, even made a suggestion, food came out swiftly and service was fantastic. Ask for Bernard next time you come in you won't be disappointed.

Terrible. Simply asked for turkey bacon and got the opposite. Had to wait 30 mins+ for a replacement order. For y'all who don't eat pork, save yourself a trip. This place trash in general. Never again

Online it says open today on Christmas. Ok, so I go to get food. Go to the door and they say they are closed (With people sitting inside) say they are only doing online orders to pick up. Ok, cool . So I ordered online and sat in my car for 20 min. Go to pick it up and they say, they aren't making anymore food . WTF ! I understand that it is Christmas, cool. But you need to change your online Christmas hours to CLOSED! T R A S H

Poor. Always with the manager, he stands looking confused and has no leadership capabilities. The staff is a reflection of him, they all suck

Ok. After wallowing in the bed for almost 10 days with seasonal flu, and texting my mom about how my appetite was returning and how I wanted pancakes pancakes pancakes, she came over, rousted me out of bed and into some khakis and took me to IHOP for pancakes! I was pleased with my pancakes. Got the seasonal (hey, why not) Gingerbread Pancakes. Can I just say YUM?!?!?!? They come with sprinkles and whipped cream and some type of lemony (?) drizzle. The service was thorough albeit leisurely (interpret whatever way you wish). The restaurant was clean and accomodating (i.e. my server let me move tables when it was clear my Grandma's wheelchair action was not going to fit with the booth). The price was right, too. Although I was treated. (Thanks Mom!) Those spiced hot buttered and syruped pancakes plus the endless pot of decaf were just what the Dr. ordered.

I have given this ihop more chances then I should have. The food sometimes is over cooked or undercooked. The last time I went there were 2 employees on the phone while I waited to be seated by a waitress. Once they were done we were not greeted even though we were the only ones there waiting we were just looked at and ignored. Two waitresses had to walk by without saying anything and then someone decided to come by finally say hi and seat us. The waitresses also I've noticed will come get the signed receipt before we even leave. I find that rude you should get the receipt once we have gotten up to leave I mean it's not like you haven't already charged our cards. I will never come back to this place again. Even though my last server was polite this time the restaurant as a whole does not have a staff that knows how to properly interact with customers. I will not be back.

Food was on point today, but and there always is a but!!!! It was a family with a little boy who just kept running back and fourth, up and under the table next to us, kicking my leg and once he did sit down for a second he was playing a Nintendo game of some sort making Hella noise! I couldn't even enjoy my pancake stacks with " all" the trimmings! Da*m they ruined my breakfast.

Ordered the build your own but i should have simply made my own. I have various health concerns and specifically added notes to my order however none of those were followed. When contacting the restaurant they told me there wasn't anything they could do because they couldn't find the order... sad sad Monday

The perfect place to grab breakfast after a long Sunday morning service. Love the new decor and renovation job that was done after the terrible fire some years ago. I make it my business to sit in the section of my favorite waiter, Justin. He is fast, thorough and very attentive to his customers. Always willing to fix an order that may not meet our expectations. Really good cooks in the back as well.

Apparently the first ihop here burned down. A shiny new version of it had their grand opening about 5 weeks ago. It probably deserves it, but I can't give it a 5th star on GP. It's an IHOP. I've eaten here twice now. Once at 3am and once at 11am. Both visits were solid. Speedy seating (even the 11am on a Saturday morning), two different servers, both were speedy and the food came out fast and accurate. Both times, it was packed with folks chowing down. But then, there aren't a lot of alternatives in this area. Scrungy part of town, but this place is clean. Recommended.

I had wonderful experience. Food was exactly as we ordered and friendly server. The manager went above and beyond to help a couple out of towners and printed out a parking pass for the football game today! We are grateful for their help!!

Not worth your money or your time, food is always uncooked or incorrect. The only reason this place gets packed it's the only ihop in the area.

After reading other reviews I am going to assume that I just had a bad day at this IHOP. We had hair in our food on two occasions and after the second plate had hair I was just no longer into eating. The service was good, the manager and server were awesome about the issues and i still left the server at $18 tip. If it wasn't for the kitchen I'm sure I would have enjoyed myself!

Save yourself the time and prayers. Walk yourself backwards out the door and forget you were ever there.

Typical IHOP. Actually it was a lot nicer than the last time I recall being there close to a decade ago. Then again, this location burned down and was rebuilt. Maybe the management changed hands because it was awful back in the days. LOL. The service staff members were very pleasant to my daughter and made her smile. Food was good. This IHOP does well on things that IHOP restaurants should do.

Was seated after a 15 minute wait, to be excepted on Sunday morning. I waited 35 minutes before I flagged down a server from a different section. After another 10 minute wait, he came back and I placed my order. Other parties near me seemed to have the same problem getting serve, but I was dead last and getting really thirsty. And I need the coffee I came in for 45 minutes before. Meanwhile, people who were seated after I was, received their meals and their coffee. When my food did arrive, the pancakes were cold.

WORST WORST WORST This place has gone down hill. I'd never go back. The manager that seats people never remember to let the servers know that they've seated people. It's a shame. Not a fan anymore.

If you love breakfast, you should go to IHOP! The pancakes taste delicious. You can put whipped cream on your waffles. You can design your own pancake and waffles. That is so so so so delicious! I hope I will always get it for breakfast. -NP (7 yo)
