Had an amazing dinner at Il Terrazzo in Victoria. The restaurant had a lively, warm atmosphere, and our server Eric was fantastic — friendly, entertaining, and spot-on with his recommendation of a fruity, well-balanced Italian red wine. We loved everything we ordered. The Funghi Arrosto was rich and flavourful, and the Cozze mussels came in a broth so good we finished every drop. For mains, the Anatra pizza was perfectly savoury, the Spaghetti Carbonara was indulgent and memorable, and the Trota Iridea di Mare was a standout — perfectly cooked steelhead with crispy skin and fresh, bright accompaniments. Great food, great service, and a lively vibe. Wish we had room for desserts! We’ll definitely be back.

Every year on our anniversary we drive to Victoria, book a hotel room all so that we can enjoy dinner at Il Terrazzo. We look forward to this every December, this year did not disappoint. The service is unmatched, the atmosphere puts you somewhere in Europe, it’s lively, it’s romantic and the candlelight glow makes everything look fabulous. We enjoyed the Humboldt Squid, which comes on polenta, it is so unique. Caesar salads and the Linguine Marco Polo. The server recommended a wine pairing and it was a lovely Rose. We finished with affogato and complimentary chocolate truffles. Dining here is like taking a vacation.

Second time in Il Terazo and really happy with the food and service. Had my all time fave - frutti di mare and tiramisu. My friends had the spaghetti carbonara, linguini marco polo and linguini capesante. All (chef's kiss) good! Also appreciated how the owner (Shelley) is still welcoming and thanking the guests, adds a personal touch.

Had a wonderful time here. My first time too. The atmosphere is extremely warm and inviting. It feels like you have stepped into a living toy or candy factory. It’s very romantic. We had the Humboldt squid appy. It was breaded and deep fried sticks of squid. Unfortunately the exterior was burnt; however the textures of the dish were noteworthy. Then we had a pasta with lemon Alfredo cream sauce topped with grilled filet mignon. The meat was esquisite and came med rare. Juicy and tender inside and smokey and crisp outer. The pasta sauce was with cream and I did not detect lemon. But IMHO too heavy. A majority people would probably like the intensity of the sauce/ pasta with the deep earthy flavours of the beef. To be fair the waiter did ask if i wanted them to reduce the thickness but I decided to see how it regularity comes. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient. I did take note that they do have an extensive wine list for wines by the bottle.

Google
Hands down the best Italian restaurant in Victoria, both the food and the vibe are amazing. It gets pretty busy, so you definitely want to make a reservation. The service was super friendly too, which made the whole experience even better. Honestly, it’s one of those places you can go to for a special occasion and never regret it. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

Google
Il Terrazzo absolutely sets a new standard for fine Italian dining. I took my partner here for her 30th birthday, and can’t say enough about our experience here. The service, food, and environment is top tier. Our server, Alison, definitely sets the bar high for future service anywhere. Not only did she take care of us, she went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing evening, all with a smile. And the food. Wow. Il Terrazzo’s chefs have outdone themselves with a very Italian menu that serve creative twists on classic dishes. We started with the funghi arrosto salad, which was delightful. For my main, I enjoyed the linguine capesante, which was nothing short of a revelation. I don’t know if I will be able to eat other Italian following this, as I don’t think anything will quite measure up. This has been the best dining experience I have had in a very long time, and highly suggest you go and enjoy it. You won’t regret.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Victoria, Il Terrazzo is a long-standing, family-run Italian restaurant that truly captures the essence of rustic Italian dining. Housed in a building that’s over a century old, the space exudes old-world charm with its warm lighting, brick walls, and inviting ambiance that feels both elegant and comforting. From the moment you walk in, the authenticity and attention to detail are clear. Every staff member contributes to an atmosphere of genuine hospitality. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and proud of what they do. The menu offers a fantastic selection of rustic and flavourful Italian dishes, each prepared with care and presented beautifully. I did experience a small mix-up with my meal, but the professionalism and warmth of the team made it a non-issue — a testament to how well they value their guests’ experiences. Il Terrazzo isn’t just one of Victoria’s best — it’s easily among the finest Italian restaurants in our country. A must-visit for anyone seeking exceptional food, heartfelt service, and a timeless dining experience.

Google
This is an honest review. My wife and I got married at the Empress Hotel years ago and had our dinner party at the El Terrazzo in Victoria. Decades ago, it was simply an amazing experience on all fronts: food, atmosphere, etc... we have been going back since to celebrate our anniversary, including last Thanksgiving Sunday. The experience was absolutely FANTASTIC. From the minute we walked in (even as they opened) WOW. Great table, great wine and our meals were over the top. We tarvel lots in Europe and especially France and Italy for the food and it's always the best at El Terrazzo. Well done. You've been open what, 33 years....you are the best !!!

Yelp
Is there a way to give 6 stars out of 5, because we would if we could. The space is very cool, dating back to 1890 when it was a hotel. Very much 19th century architecture and vibe, right up my alley (no pun intended). It is tight in the space and the sound carry's very well, but it's an Italian place it should be loud. The menu is quite varied, but doesn't have too much, always a tap dance as far as that goes. The service is outstanding with each part of the show well integrated with the others. Our server Dean was great keeping us moving along, but not pushy at all. A big shout out to Kiran, who kept our waters full and our plates cleared and looking like an old hand, in spite of her limited years. The food is outstanding, from the bread and tapenade, which was more than enough for the two of us to the Caprese salad also split. My meatballs and spaghetti with pesto was delicious, as was the lovely K's carbonara and filet! I realize meatballs in Italy are a separate course and the pasta with pesto should be another, but I don't care, the meatballs were that good. One of our favourite Greek places is not too far away, so these two will be fighting for our dining out dollars for a while. All the more reason to visit downtown Victoria. Thank you Il Terrazzo, we will be back for sure!!

Yelp
The food is still amazing. The ambiance is lovely. The service was slow on a busy New Year's Eve night. The waiter told me that the restaurant actually has a florist that comes in regularly to do the floral arrangements. They are so beautiful! We enjoyed our pasta dishes. Would love to try the other items on the menu. I didn't particularly like the nuts I had in the chicken pasta (most popular and recommended). Downside is they used to give unlimited free bread with the olive tapenade but now they limit it to one basket still a fantastic restaurant though and portion sizes are pretty big! We got some cute truffles as an anniversary dessert. It was yummy!!
google avatar

Laura L.

Yelp
Someone sell me the tapenade! I Visited over the holiday break and mistakenly made the reservation incorrectly, they were kind enough to accommodate us after a 10 minute wait. I am obsessed with the bread/tapenade they give you as a starter. It is truly heavenly and I wish I could figure out how to make/buy it. We had the funghi arrosto salad to start that was delicious. I would definitely order this again! For my main I had the fruiti de marre which is a seafood lovers paradise. Very flavourful and full of seafood! Sadly was too full to try their desserts but I saw another guest have the dessert trio which was tempting.

Yelp
I go to Vancouver Island a couple of times a year, and I always make it a point to eat at Il Terrazzo. The food is excellent, and the service is wonderful. The restaurant is a fixture in Victoria, and has been there for many years I will go there every time I'm in Victoria.

Yelp
Held my 50th birthday here. Easy to make online reservations. Recommend coming here if you don't mind loud restaurants. The restaurant entrance is on an ally called Waddington near the corner of Johnson and Wharf. There's a parking garage on Yates which is a short walk away. I had the osso buco which was amazing. Came with risotto and veg. Friend had the fuoco pasta which had some chili and was a 3 out of 5 on the hot scale. We shared a vanilla cheesecake with blueberry, but would pass on that. The comp chocolate truffle was quite rich. Add in a soda and caprese, and dinner came to $119 before tip which I think was reasonable. Very loud restaurant with a lot of brick and "windows" hanging from the ceiling to try to separate tables that are packed right next to each other. The food is worth it though. We were here on a Wednesday this month, and they were packed with people waiting for tables. Our server was almost yelling in order to be heard by neighboring tables. There's outdoor seating available in the warm months.

Yelp
One word: woooooowww Many words: I truly had a phenomenal experience at this restaurant. Every once in a while, you are in the midst of eating a meal and you know you will remember it for the rest of your life. This was one of those meals. Right out of the gate, the atmosphere is stunning and cozy, and the host is welcoming. I opted for the spaghetti carbonara and I did not regret that decision whatsoever. Although not 100% traditional, still one of the best carbonara dishes I have ever had. The waiter was very kind and made a lot of great recommendations as well. I'm from the states and I definitely think this restaurant is more than enough reason to come back for another visit!

Yelp
Beautiful and romantic! We fancy ourselves Italian connoisseurs, and my wife is Italian, so it's a favorite. Everything about this place is how it should be. It has that low-light vibe, which I prefer, and while we had to wait, the staff was very accommodating. They initially tried to sit us in a four-spot they had pulled apart, and it was right in the middle of the action. The manager walked by and said, let me please move you to a more comfy spot, and he did. From that point on, the night was perfect. We tried the pork scaloppini, which was the best we've ever had. This place is hopping, so be ready for that environment, but you'll enjoy the service and excellent food.

Yelp
Gorgeous, romantic interior with a brick + wood decor that looked lovely by candlelight and was filled with beautiful artwork. Service was excellent, including prompt, regular check-ins and a recommendation to change my entree order to something that turned out to be phenomenal (thank you, David!). We started with salads: one with a sliced and cooked portobello mushroom (fungi arrosto) that was good and another with a baked hazelnut-crusted goat cheese and poached pears with a great, intense flavor (formaggio di capra). The focaccia served with tapenade was very nice too. David recommended a fantastic red wine to pair with my partner's entree and brought her a taste beforehand to make sure she liked it. I was driving, so I had one of their non-alcoholic "sours" with pineapple and coconut flavors, which turned out to be a wonderful surprise. For the entree, my partner had the lamb shank braised in red wine (Gambo di Agnello) with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, with was both delicious and a generous portion. Initially, I was going to have the steak because I rarely trust a restaurant, even an Italian one, to make better pasta than I do at home. David boldly recommended that I switch to the "Spaghetti Carbonara" (usually a fairly simple dish) ........ but he was absolutely right to do so. I will order this every time I return - it was one of the most amazing sauces I've ever had and the beef tenderloin + mushrooms they added were very well made. We finished the meal with the Bocconi di Dolci, a trio of small desserts. That night's trio was a good hazelnut cheesecake, a great mango panna cotta, and a heavenly tiramisu. Above all of this, I appreciate that the staff were so welcoming to all of us and treated my four-year old (who sampled our dishes throughout the night) as well as any other guest. These days, some "fancy" restaurants can play games with small proteins next to heaping sides, ignore you for long stretches, or follow bold claims on the menu with bland, uninspiring food. This was a special occasion for us, and Il Terrazzo truly rose to the occasion. It was everything we hoped for. A huge thank you!

Yelp
I have somehow rediscovered this place, partly due to me coming to the island for work, and it has been a go-to place for me to have at least one dinner. I originally had a draft that was over 8 years ago, and I can say now I am giving this place a full 5 stars, one definitely for the food, the other is the service I get here as a single diner sitting at the bar and being served by Eric who always makes everyone sitting at the bar feel like it is a better place to be than eating at a table. From remembering my name, to always checking in at the right time on the food, and knowing how to gauge people on what they would like to drink, this is service you do not see often, and it isn't just coming to solve dinner, it is leaving with a full stomach and leaving happy. I have yet to have enough stomach for dessert (hopefully that will change on my next visit) but I can say the food here is fairly priced, and a the portions are good, as in there is enough food, but don't worry, if you don't finish you can pack it up, do not let this stuff go to waste. Always at the beginning is the fresh foccacia with their house-made olive tapenade, and it's hard to resist eating it all and then getting in trouble with trying to eat your main, or your appetizers, hence the problem with getting to dessert. If you are wanting pizzas, they come out piping hot out of their oven, if you are wanting their pasta, each one has a different flare, with my latest dish being selected : Cannelloni e Capesante - roasted butternut squash and asiago cheese with seared Hokkaido scallops, and it was quite a plate. If you are looking for a great place to eat, come here, get a taste of Italian in Victoria.

Yelp
We come here every time that we visit Victoria that is why this is so sad. They have changed since the last time that we were here. The food is different. I got the Marco Polo and the chicken seemed like it was left out and it was dry. They only give you one small thing of bread now. We had a table of 6. If you eat alone you get one, but one one for the table. The portion is smaller. This is a fairly expensive place and they are being cheap. Service was not a good either. Just very sad. Time to try a new place in town.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible experience at Il Terrazo. Was recommended to come here by a friend and it did not disappoint, in fact exceeded expectations. The restaurant is so beautiful and cozy, full of twinkly lights and handmade tile tables and cozy corners and beautiful ambiance. I was astounded and could not keep from looking around. I absolutely loved my cocktail, the one that "tastes just like nonna's lime pie," so delicious. And every dish we ordered was totally brilliant. I felt like royalty eating here and never wanted it to end. If there's any place to go all out for a dinner and end up in an excruciating food coma, it's here. So excited to come back and try more!!! Thank you for a lovely evening! :)

Yelp
An incredible meal! I managed to score a reservation for 1 same day and I am so glad I got to try Il Terrazzo the last day of my trip. Service was great and the food came out relatively quickly. I loved the bread served on the house and the real star was the spaghetti carbonara, phenomenal with the pieces of beef tenderloin on top - do not miss out on it! And for dessert, I had a slice of delicious tiramisu.

Yelp
Ate here for our wedding anniversary, my wife was unsure of what to order and asked the waiter, she asked him about a few dishes and ended up ordering the cioppino. It was way too spicy for her and the fish was all overcooked. I ordered the Steak but wanted pasta so the waiter suggested adding the Fusilli Bolognese. What a great suggestion, both my steak and pasta were great! I also ordered a great bottle of Pinot from Italy at the suggestion of the waiter and it did not disappoint. The waiter delivered us a free dessert after our meal which was incredible, it was a 3 sample serving. The professionalism of the waiter is what saved the night, he handled a tough situation like a pro. We would recommend eating here, the staff and food are amazing. If you don't like spicy, make sure you say something if you order the Cioppino.

Yelp
Probably the best Italian food we have ever eaten. Great service! Everyone, from the hostess to the waitress staff were all very friendly. The ambience was beautiful. Lively and yet laidback. It was a joy to dine here.
google avatar

Briena A.

Yelp
Service and ambiance were great. The tenderloin was tender but slightly overcooked. The Ceasar and margherita pizza lacked flavor. However, dessert was phenomenal! The crème brûlée is best I've ever had and had a caramel flavor to the top.

Yelp
While in Victoria we picked this out of the way place hidden between buildings and back alleys. Decor felt very authentic and was quite popular. We were seated in a small alcove which was perfect to keeping the noise down to allow talking without effort. But the general many different shaped eating areas allowed for having a cozy feeling throughout despite the many patrons. Enjoyed great salads and different pasta and must say the bolognese recipe was the best I ever had. Looking forward to our next visit to Victoria to eat here again.

Yelp
The food was so delicious. I loved all of the different flavors. My dish had cashews and a very tastey lemon sauce. My husband's dish was delicious as well but certainly spicy. Wine was fabulous. Service was great, it was fun to see how uniformly everyone worked. The ambiance was just beautiful and I love that the location is down a little alley way. I certainly recommend! Definitely make a reservation ahead of time. I'm glad that I did. That place was packed!

Yelp
You HAVE to visit II Terrazzo when in Victoria. The Carbonara was DELICIOUS! Our waiter was awesome helpful when choosing a nice wine. Service 10/10 and the ambiance is very nice to have dinner with a spouse/ group of friends. Will definitely be going back here
google avatar

Matthew R.

Yelp
Truly phenomenal restaurant. One of the best meals I've had in a long time from an unassuming local neighborhood Italian joint. Service was friendly, prompt, and efficient yet not overly intrusive. The food was just delicious. Went with a pasta bolognese and the panko crusted pork scaloppini. Couldn't get over how amazing both dishes were. The portions are massive so plan to have enough for lunch the following day. Cesar salad was perfectly crisp and fresh with a super light dusting of dressing. Would have loved to try dessert but there was simply not enough room to fit anywhere. The wine list far exceeds what one would expect for a local "joint" such as this. I'll Terrazzo a superb experience with a nice vibe and very upscale atmosphere. You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Mary W.

Yelp
Delicious! Great service! All around 5 stars! Romantic like atmosphere we will definitely keep this on our list of places to eat in Victoria when we visit! Even the leftovers were delicious warmed up! The bread and everything was just as delicious 2 days later!
google avatar

Yelp
Enjoyed dinner here last night. The food and service were great. We had a romantic table by the window, which was lovely... except for the clattering sounds coming from the kitchen, which felt really loud. Portions are large, which our waitress warned us about... and she was great in helping us identify how much to order and still have room for dessert. He enjoyed the osso bucco. I had the halibut, which had the most delicious vegetables with it. We shared the scallop and smoked tuna appetizer, which had more of an Asian flare and was yummy. The dessert was great - flourless chocolate cake for me, Panna cotta for him.

Yelp
I was recommended this restaurant for my husband and I to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary but we left pretty disappointed. I'm very grateful that I made a reservation, because even on a Tuesday, it was incredibly busy. Our first impressions were horrible, mostly because we were seated in a back room that smelled so so badly of weed it was almost intolerable. I don't care if it's legal, who wants to be eating dinner and smelling that the entire time? Our waiter was not friendly and was very slow. It took him almost 20 minutes to come to our table just to ask if we wanted water. The food was the only saving grace for this restaurant. It was good, not the best Italian food I've had, but good. Even with my husband on two separate occasions speaking to the hostess and a woman I believe to be the manager, nobody mentioned our anniversary. It's pretty customary in the United States for even the fanciest of restaurants to at least acknowledge a special occasion, if not give a free dessert. We didn't come to try and get anything free, that's not why the review is so low, but the overall experience was nothing special.
google avatar

Lisa T.

Yelp
Another favorite for us. When in town, Il Terrazzo is a must. I love the building, walking down the brick alley, twinkling lights above. Food is excellent.
google avatar

Katherine C.

Yelp
A very bizarre experience. It was recommended by other guests at our hotel. Too many tables are crammed together. The bartender did not chill our white wine and our waiter didn't seem to understand that we didn't want it at room temperature. My martini arrived and it was not cold. We sent back both the wine to be chilled and the martini. A woman sitting next to me was wearing a top that exposed both the tops and bottoms of her breasts. She made lewd expressions and stuck out her pierced tongue at her boyfriend. We asked to have the martini removed from our bill. The manager seemed shocked about that and offered to give us cookies instead. A totally weird experience. Not to be revisited.

Yelp
Being generous with 4 star review. I would come back and try a different dish perhaps. The ambience was intimate with dim lighting, lit fires, and exposed brick. Service was kind and prompt with orders. Every table is served focaccia bread with an olive oil with olive chunk side. Linguine Marco Polo: I appreciate this is a long standing dish on the menu but I failed to see the pizazz. The peppers were over cooked. The noodles were undercooked. The mango was interesting but it seemed like the dish is trying so hard to be unconventional it just misses the mark for me. 2/5 stars. Tonno: delicious thick chunks of panko crusted ahi tuna on a bed of thin spaghetti. Much better dish that was tastefully plated and enough to make one full but not over the top. 5/5 stars. Drinks: tad overpriced considering specials and Moscow Mule served in a glass cup with little ginger beer instead of a metal container. Strange. Again, I would return but not quickly. And I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend. But if you see a reservation opening, sure. Pop in. Enjoy!

Yelp
A busy evening, but seated relatively quickly. Staff were on the ball and made since delicious suggestions. Was a cozy table for two and we enjoyed our fresh, hot meals in a timely manner. A little pricier than our usual, but delicious and a decent value.

Yelp
We decides to come here for dinner while in Victoria. We didn't have reservations but were lucky enough to get seating at the bar. We got a bit carried away and ordered 2 main and an appy. We thought the calamari was the usual type but when it came, we thought we got the wrong dish as it looked like chicken finger. To our surprise, it was calamari. The outside was crispy and the inside was soft and tender. The polenta, chorizo, roasted peppers and tomatoes worked well that we wanted to finish it but we needed to save room for our main dishes. The pollo appollonia was delicious. The chicken breast ws juicy and tender. The toppings: tomatoes, roasted garlic, prawns, marsala wine and basil enriched the flavors of the dish. This dish, I finished it all. The cannelloni de maiale was creamy, full of flavor from the bacon, cream, pulled pork, mozzarella and apple compote. Our waiter was the best, he anticipated what we needed, from water, box for leftovers, extra utensil, etc. He was courteous, efficient, and had a great attitude. We would recommend this place and we will be back if we're in Victoria again and make sure we make reservations.

Yelp
By far, some do the best Italian food I have ever had. Our server was attentive, knew the menu, and had a great demeanor. Despite being in an alley, this is one of the better looking restaurants I have dined at. The flowers inside are amazing!

Rosalyn L.

Yelp
I had visited this place years ago on a family vacation and decided to come back again for an anniversary dinner after recalling how great the food had been. We ordered the caprese salad to start, the linguine marco polo and the spaghetti carbonara for the mains. The tomatoes, herbs and mozzarella in the caprese salad all tasted so fresh and came with a side of olives which was a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend trying the linguine marco polo as it is their signature dish and I've never experienced anything quite like it at other restaurants. We finished off our meal with an espresso and a panna cotta for dessert, which was just okay. Our server for the night was exceptional and was very thorough in explaining any allergens in the menu, and could describe all of the menu items by heart. The layout of the restaurant was a bit cramped compared to when I had visited last, and our table was quite wobbly, which made us quite nervous when enjoying our meal. The linguine marco polo tasted slightly different from when I had it before, however upon tasting the pasta leftovers from the fridge the next morning, I discovered the flavours (especially the mango and the cashews) stood out more when the dish was on the cooler side. Overall, we would visit again if we are ever back in Victoria and try some of their lesser known dishes.

Yelp
Simply amazing. Good luck getting in without reservation. We went there at 5:32 pm w/o reservation and we ok last table ( on Canada Day weekend). Food was so so good. Goat cheese .. something... salad and added Tuna. Salad was 18CAD and 5 oz Tuna was 25CAD. INSANE!!! Waiter did not inform us that tuna would cost more than salad. Should of ordered salad that came with fish already for 22 CAD!! Disappointed here ! But was delicious

Yelp
Food and drinks were 10/10!! Highly highly recommend the portobello mushroom salad and pastas. Pizza can be skipped. Specialty cocktails were surprisingly inexpensive as well. Overall, Il Terrazzo is a must-visit if in Victoria! Make reservations!
google avatar

Brad E.

Yelp
The food here is very good. The osso buco was tender and delicious. Maybe the best I've ever had. The wine list is extensive. You can find something familiar. The ambiance is a little weird. We were in an alley surrounded by what looked like a spontaneously built structure. Service was what you'd expect.
google avatar

Jackson H.

Yelp
This is one of the best restaurants we have recently visited. We went there on a Friday evening and they were packed shortly after6 PM. I would highly recommend you make a reservation before visiting or else the wait could be very long. The service and food were both fantastic. We just came back from Italy and felt they offer some rather authentic Italian food. The mozzarella cheese wasn't as fresh as we had hoped but then it isn't easy to find fresh mozzarella in smaller cities since mozzarella cheese usually should be eaten the day after they were made. Overall I think this place deserves a 4.5 if I have the option.

Yelp
WDecembe 2023 We recently returned to Victoria BC and reserved dinner at Il Terrazzo and was delighted. Cool and damp outsie, the restaurant was an inviting warm and cozy retreat. Service and the food are consistantly excellent.

Yelp
We were recommended this restaurant by friends of ours. It is good. Our server Matt was awesome! Very friendly, nice, and gave us recommendations since we were from out of town. We got seated on the patio which was really cute and offered a nice ambiance. The food...we are torn. Came with complimentary olive tapenade and focaccia bread. That was really good! We got the goat cheese salad to start which was really good. Dressings had good flavor. The pasta entree we got was good. Flavors all worked together. Nothing mind blowing but good. The steak dish we got was by far the worst. It had zero flavor. Not one speck of salt or flavor. It was just flavorless. It tasted like nothing. Very weird. For a well known Italian restaurant I would expect homemade pasta. Also the pasta dishes had was too many ingredients, nothing simple. It was overly hyped in our opinion. Not a bad meal by any means, just expected a bit more for the price.

Yelp
It's a classic. This is the place to go for Italian. There really isn't much more to say. I've always had a great time.

Yelp
I booked this weeks ago knowing we would be in Victoria. After a long day of traveling by plane, train, bus, ferry and taxi we had a nap and headed here for 8 pm Loved the entrance and it was busy. Waiters are very professional and lots of people helping with refilling waters etc Had a lime coconut martini which was not a thick drink very nice Had the goat cheese salad with caramelized pear. Delicious I would order that again Ordered their specialty Marco Polo chicken with mango and cashews. Excellent and very filling

Yelp
We were lucky enough to have dinner at Il Terrazzo last night. Not only is it a beautiful, cozy restaurant, with mini fireplaces behind many of the tables, which are separated by old, hanging, paned windows, the service was impeccable and the food was to die for. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Three managers stopped by as well to ask how everything was and to remove anything we were done with from the table. What a special experience!

Yelp
Celebrated a birthday dinner and had an awesome dining experience. One of the best during our visit to Victoria. The welcome at the door was warm and inviting. Our server, Michael made the evening extra special with drink and food recommendations. Il Terrazzo will always be on our list of required dining when visiting Victoria. Thank you.

Yelp
Really nice ambiance for dinner. Highly recommend the Fusilli con Sugo di Manzo, Margherita pizza was good too.

Yelp
Food was incredible. I took the suggestion from my server and had their carbonara w/ beef tenderloin. So good. I love that you can finish out your meal with a coffee and biscotti or order a single truffle so you get a light dessert without feeling overly full.

Yelp
We had such a lovely experience here! My husband and I were in Victoria for the weekend for our first trip without our daughter. We were just wandering back from Chinatown towards our hotel when we were cutting through an alley and noticed this charming and tucked away restaurant! Ir was mid-afternoon, and we asked if they were able to seat two. They were fully booked until 8:30/9 that evening - it was our last night in Victoria so we decided to come back that night. When we did, they remembered us and got us seated right away. The restaurant is very charming and romantic. The service was great and the food was excellent. Will definitely come here again next time we are in Victoria!
