A huge store with everything you could possibly imagine for your home. Well, the quality of some things is not very high, the prices are typically pretty decent, but some of the things seem to be really overpriced, specifically, things like dressers and bedroom sets. Sets. However, the store is well organized and has a great huge swedish restaurant on the second floor. The free covered parking is a nice touch as well.

In comparison with European ikea, this one is not too big, but you still need some time to go around the store. Very Scandinavian, and a lot of wood, that’s what I like. The cafeteria is the same as any other ikea with the same menu, good quality food, not expensive. At the moment I thought I saw everything, spent another $100 for chocolate, jelly and souvenirs.

My family have been taking advantage of the cafeteria the past few times we’ve been through. The potatoe flake covered Cod was pretty tasty. We used the free kids meal(with the loyalty program) with adult purchase the last time. Will be remembering to do this more often as well. My family purchases things often. However I wanted to look at possibly getting or swapping my chair out for a newer model. I currently have a Markus with the leather covered seats and arm rests. The new version with cloth only feels no only much more inferior in quality but the arm rests in particular do not have nearly as much coverage as my current chair has. I thought I might purchase the newer one and let my son have my old chair of the same kind. I will not be. I guess I will sit in this one till it breaks down. I can say I am disappointed. I thought about the JÄRVFJÄLLET as an option but was not happy with the comfortability of it and the quality doesn’t make me happy either. The prices are getting eye watering as well. I have to REALLY, REALLY be impressed to be convinced to purchase a chair. I will continue my search.

I know some people love this place, but it can be incredibly painful. I got lost twice trying to get out. Ask for help and still did the loop twice. Maybe it’s just me. I’m sure you can save some money, but I’m not sure it’s worth it. I’m sitting here right now waiting for them to pick an order for me that the person that cried it up told me it would be five minutes. It’s now been 30. Quite painful. Lots of people here very slow store. It shouldn’t take that long to get a metal bed.

The IKEA in Kansas City is very impressive and feels like visiting a theme park due to the size, fun colors, and so much to explore. There are plenty of helpful and friendly employees. The restaurant food is delicious. They have a latte machine that makes great coffee. I'll share some photos of signage with this review. More photos will be added separately. The family membership is a great way to get connected with values and show your support to this innovative shopping space.

This is a great place to spend the day! They've got a cafeteria and sell delicious food. The desserts are a little pricey, but the food is reasonable. Lots of chairs and couches to test out! My teenage son loves this place! (And so do I!)

Always gotta love IKEA! I have to say they have a very large assortment of items that can often be mixed and matched with multiple color combinations as well.any items are quite affordable however there are a few things that can be overpriced and sometimes quality if iffy, but I think most people know this going into IKEA. Their restaurant inside is very delicious and I highly recommend the veggie balls to any vegetarian IKEA-goers!

Came to ikea to look around at new apartment furniture and found a couple things I will be back for. IKEA is always super clean and organized, though it is a bit of a challenge to get help if you need it. Definitely a nice place to get different decor!

I love this IKEA! I've got two bookshelf's, storage compartments and several other things. The prices are great and everything I've bought has been very reliable. We plan on coming back when our kids get new furniture sets. I've recommended to several people and they all have great experiences as well and the items that they get as well are excellent. Their food court is also pretty awesome prices would be nice if a little cheaper just for when families come in, but still nice. It's also always so clean and well kept! Nice job ikea wish I took pics! Maybe I'll update. The self service options are also very easy. Just make sure you grab a big cart before you go grab your big stuff. lol and pay attention to the signs! Enjoy!!

I love IKEA. I've been to many. I thought of giving this location 4 stars because they are always out of a lot when I'm looking for it. I'm not sure it's the fault of the management of this location or just shortages throughout the company. Regardless, other than that problem, I love IKEA. I have been to this location several times over the last few months because I moved in a new house and needed several items. I recently bought a wardrobe. It's nice and just $199 which is a great price compared to other new wardrobes I saw. I've met a few nice employees but the last time I was in, I couldn't find hardly anyone. I hope that was unusual. Its location is not convenient for me but I'm glad there's at least one not too far away!

Customer service was awful. Every one of the 5 employee that i encountered was either rude, in a bad mood, or not nice. One employee would not help me if I didn't use the sweedish name. I told him nicely that I didn't know the actual name. "Sir, don't get hostile " I'm not I'm not sweedish. Two cashiers (talking to each other about their boys) down 5 cash registers yelled at me that i was using self checkout wrong in front of everyone. Then 2 more ladies were just plain rude. I was in a good mood until here.

This is a great place for looking at furniture ideas for your next project or just browsing for fun. I went to walk around and look ended up having a great time looking at all the displays. I think this could be a really great date night or lunch spot because there is a cute little cafe inside. I did not try the food but the display looked appealing. They had employees walking around asking if anyone needed help which seems necessary since there is so many items!

Every staff member including kitchen employees are exceptionally personable and gracious. Had a snafu not being able to pay with cash temporarily for food and they let me eat while waiting for the right cashier to show up with privileges to the drawer. Lovely showroom that guides you on a meandering path upstairs through the showroom. Smells like Home Depot when you walk in which is a great wood smell.

I like to visit IKEA whenever I'm near one. I enjoy wandering through the living areas upstairs coming up with new ideas for storage and organization throughout the house. This store was no exception! Great prices on a few things here and there, which quickly filled up a suitcase. It's laid out just like all other stores I've been to but one thing was different in the end... only self checkout stations to cash out and be on our way! I felt like this made for an excessive amount of time waiting in line, since sooo many people struggle with it.

We love going to IKEA. But our favorite thing to do is get their meal! The meatballs, and potatoes, and Mac and cheese is amazing! We like the pop and of course we always try a new dessert! It's cheap and everyone is super nice and helps you!

This is my first time visiting this brand of store. My friend was looking for a bookcase and a rug so I was happy to tagalong. I really liked how the store was laid out with the arrows pointing you on how to walk throughout the store to see all the different stages. I was shocked to find that they had so much to offer (for example kitchen cabinets). I thought this brand of store only did furniture, containers, and such. Throughout the store, everything was very clean and very organized. I really like the fact that you can pick up your items in the warehouse at the very end of the shopping experience upon check out.

Furniture, food, fun! You can never go wrong here. It's fun to get a little exercise bobbing and weaving through the various furniture sections, however you can take the shortcuts if needed. And what's better than their delicious Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes & gravy and lingonberry sauce. Win win!

Over the past weekend i dealt with IKEA and I had a Pleasant experience from speaking with customer service all the way to purchasing the item. Across the board everyone was helpful. While building the bed i stripped some screws. Went to location and they had extra screws. When I tell you class A across the board i truly mean this. I often buy from IKEA and this past weekend is a reason that I'll continue to buy from them over other places.

IKEA has everything: affordable furniture, stylish designs, and a wide range of home decor items. They have modern and functional products. The store's layout and displays often inspire creative ideas for home organization and decoration. Over the years, I have purchased three beds from IKEA, a plant stand and a few plants. All still in great condition! Because the store is so huge, it's helpful to know the shortcuts located throughout the facility.

Love! Love! Love! Do I need more cookware or gadgets? I don't think so. Will I buy anything? Of course! Recently I have been purchasing cookware each time I visit an IKEA. I don't know why I never bothered to purchase in the past, but found that IKEA stocks a lot of induction compatible cookware at really affordable prices. I guess I assumed that they were too inexpensive to be any good and lol you know what they say about assuming! I am impressed at how well constructed they are. A plus is that the pans are a breeze to wash and clean up very nicely. Con is I never seem to find everything on my wish list and this time the shelves were especially barren.

Yeah, so me and my friends were at IKEA and trying to buy some cake. The sign said $1.49. We ended up paying five freaking dollars for it. and then when we try to confront them about it they stole the sign from where it was placed I will give this place zero if I could

TLDR: shop online for pickup. I went to IKEA to buy a Kallax shelving system for the game room and a cabinet for my dining room. The furniture itself was decent quality and very simple to put together (with the dog's help of course lol). The IKEA experience though was not great. First, if you don't know where you are going the signs to park and go in are not super helpful. We made our way inside through the main entrance from the parking garage and were greeted with a map on the wall showing the layout of the store. I knew to expect the one-way path and occasional "shortcuts," what I did not expect was to have the map labelled completely differently from the website labels so you still can't find where your items are located. Next issue- there were no employees to be found 90% of the time we were in the store. You are expected to just know that you have to use the kiosks without being told that. We found the kiosks to "order" what we wanted, but every time I tried to order the dining room cabinet it kept telling us to "find an employee to place this order." That's great, but there are no employees anywhere! (They used a distinct word for employee, but it is escaping me now- maybe co-owner? IDK. Anyway...) Continuing on- When we finally did find an employee, they were hidden away in a back room around a corner several departments later, they said they were unable to help and to go use the kiosk. When I explained what the kiosk was telling us, they said to "go to warehouse aisle 16 and get help there." They gave vague directions how to get to the warehouse and then went back about their business of chatting with each other. We wandered around some more to find the warehouse and finally figured out we were on the wrong floor. We got there, passed the aisle 16 help desk that was empty (on a mission for the kallax so didn't even register at the time that it was our next destination), pulled our self-service items (the Kallax system) from the shelves ourselves, then proceeded back to aisle 16 to find the "help desk" to assist with ordering the dining room cabinet. We found the desk, and of course there was still no one there. We saw the check-outs at the other end so we headed there, all the while looking for a stray employee who might be able to get us help from the vacant help desk, no luck. By now I was getting impatient and was ready to say forget it and just leave without the dining room cabinet. We got to the check-outs and waited in line, then when we reached a person we could talk to (she was very nice) she told me they couldn't order the cabinet for us, we had to go to aisle 16 and have them do it at the help desk. Now I was moving into deep breathing mode. I once again explained that there was no one there to help me at the help desk, we had been past it twice now and were not the only people waiting there. She said she would find someone for me, "just go wait there and I will end the girl over." I said fine but this was my last try and marched back over to aisle 16 for the third time. Still no employees around, and I looked down every aisle on the way there. I waited for 5 minutes with another couple. They walked away and I got on the phone with my father who was still at the checkouts with the kallax so he didn't have to drag them all around the warehouse. I asked him to have the nice lady PLEASE send someone over because there "is still no one here and I'm done with this. I will NEVER come back." He had put me on speaker phone so she heard me and apologized, saying she would find someone. About 2 minutes later a girl who looked to be about 12 showed up and snarkily input my order into her computer, thrust a printout at me, then turned to leave. I stopped her and asked what to do with it and she snapped, "take it to the checkouts and they will help you. I need to go finish straightening shelves." I got back to the checkout and the nice lady there told us where to go to pick up the offending cabinet from the "back" warehouse. Why do you have 2? And why can't customers access the second one? Use one method or the other, not both. It is confusing and frustrating for your customers. We should either grab everything ourselves or you get it all for us. You also need better instructions/information on your kiosks (like telling us to go to warehouse aisle 16 to get help instead of "find and employee"). Once we paid we had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to bring the dining room cabinet to us, then it was smooth sailing. We went back to the parking garage where I waited at the curb with our purchases and my dad pulled the truck up. A nice young man from IKEA loaded everything into the truck and we were off. Like I said, the furniture itself is decent quality for the price and easy to put together, so I will probably buy from there again, I will just shop online for the drive-through pick in the future. I don't plan to ever set foot inside the store again.

This is such a fun place to visit. I got some plants and they were healthy and priced reasonably. The store was clean and employees were very nice and friendly.

We drive over to Ikea in Merriam Kansas about once a year with a long list of things we need to purchase for us and the kids. We really like the store, well, until yesterday. We drove over with the kids and entered the store around 5:50 PM on May 25. We were all hungry and ready to eat and then shop. We even double checked their website on the drive up which stated the restaurant was open from 11AM to 7PM to make sure we had enough time. The store hours showed 10AM to 8PM. Even the sign in the front of the restaurant again showed the restaurant hours to be 11AM to 7PM. See photo. To our surprise when we arrived there was a large sign in the restaurant stating CLOSED. Heck, even the CLOSED sign showed the restaurant hours Monday - Saturday to be 11AM to 7PM. See Photo. Well, obviously we were very disappointed and hungry. We double checked the Ikea website and any other signs as we left Ikea; there were none stating that the restaurant was going to close early. We went to the local Walmart to do our shopping for this trip as Ikea had disappointed us. Unsure if we will ever return, but suggest to others who like Ikea food to call to make sure they are open before making the trek to Ikea.

We came to get a few things and decided to have lunch. The salad with salmons& potato salad is to die for! The dressing is slightly sweet with dill, the potato salad offsets the fish beautifully. There's plenty on this plate for a hungry girl.

I always love wandering through IKEA as a hobby when I need some steps after indulging in some Kc BBQ. I love that IKEA is so family friendly with family parking, restrooms, childcare, free kids meals with IKEA family and so many great child-centered products. I wish the furniture was easier to assemble but I'm happy to use Task Rabbit!

I love this store - it's easy to wander around and peruse the showroom, gather inspiration for your home, and then easily find your items in the warehouse and check out. Despite visiting on a busy and somewhat crowded holiday weekend, we were still able to find help when we needed it. I love to visit and see the items I've been viewing online in person before purchasing, so I'll definitely keep returning.

They were super helpful and knew where everything was. They also were able to access computers to offer delivery options when needed. IKEA is always a pleasure to visit. The parking lot was cooler temperature wise than expected. Free wifi. Join the family plan for 5% off. It's free

I had a great experience at this Ikea. This store is massive and is super clean. They offer a ton of stuff for all ages, with all sorts of different tastes. You are bound to leave with at least one thing you loved. We also ate at the cafeteria which was good and reasonably priced (moreso, I enjoyed the experience). We spent around 3 hours there. The display rooms are so fun to look at... and they have literally everything. I only give it four stars because the kids play room was closed, due to covid-19 precautions I assume. Otherwise this was a super fun outing and gave us plenty of home decor ideas!

I know it's cliché, but I love this spot. For a guy who needs the bare essentials to get by and keep a clean, modern look for his apartment, I can find everything I want at IKEA. I have drank what's in the water at this place! It's always clean inside and they have great food at their restaurant. Good

I love it here! There is ample garage parking most days, although weekends are much more crowded. I'm going to review my most recent visit, but overall I give IKEA a solid 4 star rating. We visited on a Wednesday early afternoon after hitting up a nearby park (Antioch...review to come). Currently (June 2023) in the IKEA restaurant, you can get up to two free kids meals with an adult meal, if you have the free IKEA Family loyalty program (I have, and use often.) The menu boards were down when we were ordering our food so I had to ask the employee several questions and she was pretty nice overall. I got my free coffee (thanks IKEA family) and fed two kids and me for a really good price. We happened upon a June is Safety Month event, where they gave away wall anchors for furniture and had people sharing information about sleep (Children's Mercy Nurse) and home safety. In addition to this they had some cookies, prizes, and an amazingly talented artist (Marietta) doing free caricatures. My kids haven't stopped talking about the picture and free hat and I will always remember to anchor furniture that is taller than a specific height. I'd consider this a big plus in the IKEA column. The kids Playland is open again. It allows grownups to have some time to shop while the kids (must not be in diapers/pull-ups) can have supervised play. I have not utilized this service at the Merriam IKEA, but 14 years ago in a Maryland store, it was very helpful. Check out the website for rules and hours. They now have almost all self check out stations, which I find convenient. The cafe and area to buy food to take home (frozen/jams/cookies) has been closed the last 3 times we have visited so if you need anything from there, check around the restaurant, in the store and in line at the checkout lanes. I also did a return this visit... you check in when you get there and they contact you by text when an employee is available. You can initiate a return online but the customer service person said sometimes that doesn't work well. It wasn't busy so our experience was fast and the person who helped me was helpful and polite. Their return policy is very generous. One last positive. In the restrooms, there are free size 4 diapers (which can likely fit a size 3 or size 5 kid, until you can get to your own stash) and a kid sized sink for them to wash their own hands. I wish more places had these amenities! IKEA is an experience. If you aren't a fan of browsing for inexpensive furniture or spending hours navigating through a maze, you should definitely avoid IKEA. Personally, I could spend hours here. I shop local often too, so I have no qualms with shopping here occasionally.

The service here was horrible. Nobody helps you. Nobody asked if you need help. I'm very disappointed. This is the first time I have ever been to IKEA and it will be the last. I have no intention on coming back. I feel like this place is very overpriced. The only few things that I found that were at a reasonable was some kitchen accessories!

I've tried several times a day over the course of several days to make a Click & Collect order from this store, and this message (screenshot) is what I get every single time. Given COVID, I really don't understand why this store isn't making it possible to make a contactless pickup. You'd think they would want to make it easier, like every other reputable business. IKEA is a huge chain; there is no excuse. The people in the window where the "as is" furniture are sold are very helpful, but it doesn't make up for the fact that their stores are literally the only mandatory errand I have where I don't have any other option but to go inside the store and stand in line with dozens of other people, potentially putting myself and them at risk. It's also frustrating because I need to buy several very heavy things that are difficult for me to lift, but that's secondary. There is also ZERO ability to get someone on the phone. It is 100% recording. I went through every single option. Fix yourself, IKEA Merriam. I'm honestly this close to lugging everything I've bought from you in the past couple weeks back to your store for a refund and going with a local option - not that you care, clearly.

I love IKEA. There's something just oddly magical about it. I enjoy the food and being able to shop and relax. Mostly daydreaming about how amazing my house could look and how organized it could be with all of ikeas stuff. I can't walk out without buying so from here.

Multiple options and excellent selection. Be prepared to walk. Decent value but you'll occasionally find better deals online.

Just received a delivery order and am thrilled with my new bookcases. Previously purchased a desk, dresser, and entertainment cabinet from IKEA, but drove up to visit the store on that occasion. Wide selection with superior quality. Would definitely recommend.

I now understand why they have so many negative reviews. We drove from Omaha to go shopping. For reference we used to live in San Diego and got very spoiled being able to go to IKEA whenever we wanted. So we made the very long trip. Most importantly they were out of SO MANY things. I understand covid has made everything harder to come by but you shouldn't have things on display and then not have them in the store. I would say 75% of everything we wanted was out of stock. The food court had almost nothing available 90 minutes prior to it closing. We specifically wanted some sort of desserts, but there weren't any. The floor was dirty. There was food and drinks all over the cafe area. In more than one of their small room displays were food wrappers, garbage, and even an entire spilled coffee drink or something. We actually decided to tell someone about it and the lady acted like we did it. Sheesh. (No we didn't, I found it when I stepped in it thanks). Check out was painfully slow and the cashier was downright rude. When we got home we discovered the dishes we bought had chips in them so that's wonderful. Waste of $70. =\ Not to mention on a whole IKEA doesn't seem like good quality anymore. I have cutting boards from 2017/2018 that are the same model type but thicker. They've obviously trying to cut costs and increase profits. Someone else mentioned they seemed like a thrift store and that kinda summed up our experience at IKEA. I don't think I'd come back to this location. I'd probably drive to Minnesota or something next time.

Really upset about making this review. I've shopped at IKEA for ten years - half of it in LA - of course I liked ikea because it was affordable and simple. However after today's interaction with a customer service rep it's safe to say I'll never buy furniture from them ever again. Sometimes a customer service conversation can completely make or break a consumer relationship. I'm normally pretty patient and understanding but I did not deserve to be treated like shit today for asking a question. My husband and I just bought a house and we are in the market for a king size bed. IKEA was the first to pop in mind! I found the perfect bed on their website. The only one I liked out of the hundreds we viewed this week from other stores. I saw it was not in stock at our location. No problem! I'll just call and order it from wherever they have it. The bed was just what I was looking for. Well forgive me for calling on apparently this reps bad Monday...? I asked her if we could get it ordered and we could come pick it up when it arrives even if it's just in parts. We wouldn't even mind if it took weeks or a few months to get here. Again - I'm patient. She told me that our store is out of stock. Ok yes I knew that which is why I called you - to order it for us - the website said to call our store. And she said No. No explanation for why. Just a hard No. So I asked... oh.. so there's no way to get it from a different store? She repeated herself - in a tone that was growing increasingly condescending. Like I was stupid. She didn't attempt to hide it. And anytime I asked another question I was met with the very same answer. She said "Your store does not have it in stock." YES. I know. It's why I called you so it can be ordered from anywhere else in the world where it is in stock. I'm sorry am I misunderstanding something? She huffed and puffed. She was clearly tired of repeating herself. I was equally tired of her repeating the same information with literally no explanation. Saying the same thing to me over and over and slower doesn't help me understand why. She said if it's not in stock at the store she can't help me. She said she would check for other stores (OK WHY DIDNT YOU DO THAT BEFORE REPEATING YOURSELF THE FIRST 4 TIMES?). She then said it doesn't actually exist anymore. OK well maybe you should remove it from your website... Instead of treating me like I'm the one who listed it as an active item on your website.. She didn't apologize for one thing. And I know the stores being out of stock isn't her fault or within her control but she's a representation of the company. Had she just said "I apologize but it seems that no stores have this item anymore, is there something else I can help you with?" - You know. How a regular non robotic person would handle the situation? Someone with customer service experience maybe? This call would have been a short and mild disappointment but It turned into a weird 5 minute battle of the attitudes. I was condescended to from the moment she answered until the moment she hung up. Goodbye IKEA. That's more than enough to stay far away from your store.

the hours are horrible interesting though midwest hours are crappy compared to all other IKEA stores around the nation why does the midwest deserve the worst hours not taking off work to go shop 2nd part. we were looking for led strip lighting. Asked for some help because the display was a complete mess. Display wouldnt work and no inventory below, also missing additional parts to get it to work. Employee said they moved things around to make it nicer and agree it was a disaster. She said part 2/2 was upstairs hidden away in another area. Nope just went up there and didnt see anything. Left without buying. Amazon here we come!

Huge store, very few employees, I have tried several times to put my dresser together but keep coming up short on parts I've already made one extra trip to puck up missing hardware, and now find two of my dresser sides and the fronts of three drawers missing If I hadn't already have thrown out my boxes , I would certainly return this never ever again for me

I am pleasantly impressed with how well IKEA is handling Covid 19. They are really taking this pandemic very serious and professional. If you are in need of a home makeover go to this IKEA and don't forget to grab one of their delicious cinnamon roles after.

I like ikea for their products... but their customer service is basically non existent. I have a spinal injury that prevents me from lifting heavy or bending excessively. I had my infant son with me in a stroller as well. I came for bookshelves which I did have someone downstairs help me get them off the shelf and in to a cart, but she wasn't allowed to leave her stall thing for long, So I struggled to get up to the cashier. I told the cashier about my back and I obviously had my child with me, and asked her if she could get someone to help me take it to my car and load up... to which I got a "someone will help you downstairs"... okay.. So as I struggled to push my son and the giant bookshelves on the cart, watching people rush by me.. Finally a nice female customer helped me on to the elevator and downstairs. I left my stuff to load my kid up and bring my car... there wasn't a person in sight employed by ikea to help. Another woman waiting saw me and offered to help me. I have never had so much trouble getting help. Every other store I've gone to since my spinal injury has had no issue helping me lift and get things in my car. I was so frustrated, that I really don't think I want to go back because of it. Seems like there are a lot of other reviews in here about the lack of customer service as well... I'll gladly pay more for products to get people that at least pretend like they care about their customers.

This is not a quick in and out store. Plan on spending 30 minutes just waking around. They do have a huge selection of furniture and house hold goods. They also have a helpful staff that will guide you through the shopping process. With most pieces you have to go to the self serve section to get your furniture. Be sure to pick up the cinnamon rolls at the restaurant. For $4 they are delicious. I was happy with the chair I purchased, it did take awhile to put it together though.

I liked the wide variety of home goods at fair prices. The store was bright and clean, with nicely staged products, but the store layout can be rather problematic if you are only looking for one item, since it is necessary to walk through at least one level unless you see the shortcuts (see the store directory I posted). This store had a restaurant, a bistro (reviewed separately), and baby care. Membership is free, and offers several benefits. Overall, very nice.

I hate to rank a store based on their clientele but... I'm going to do it anyway. The motto of this store is: Walk in the middle of the aisle like nobody's behind you. And why does EVERYONE have to get their SLOW MO going on here? I swear the only people who shop here must have no life. And no other errands to run. Ever. IKEA, I love your stuff. But damn, your store is unnerving to shop in. I even know the short cuts to get to the middle floor without meandering aimlessly through the top floor and how to get to the back half of the middle floor without going through the front half. Because let's face it. There are no cheaper plain picture frames on the face of the planet. And I'm too cheap to pay for shipping or the $5 pickup fee.

I've known IKEA for awhile as cheap items that don't always look cheap. This was a trip I came specifically to order chair legs since hubby bought the chair back but legs were out the day he came in. I went straight to returns/ exchanges & lucky I saw the number puller because they go by numbers and there was a lot of people waiting on a Saturday holiday weekend. In that area there was Home pick up, and a tv screen which shows the order number then a column for processing and last column to show which orders were ready for pick up. For another visit I wasted some time because after getting a number for customer service I was told to go to home pick up to resolve my shipment issues of the chair legs. Upon waiting at home pick up who was also busy with a line the gentleman told me customer service had to help me that he couldn't because it was a shipment issue. Basically if you order anything or have issues make sure the representative can and will help you, it seemed I couldn't get much help until the manager took care of the transaction and the manager of the 4 times I went there went above and beyond and was great. Example Situation since I can't recall the exact quantities: ordered say 20 chair legs which were not in stock. Upon shipment receipt I only received about 6 but the delivery slip didn't notate the shortage. I got a manager help me find some in another location and order them for me to replace my missing pieces.

I love love shopping at IKEA. I love finding a new way to use an old item. I like to walk around inside and get my exercise in a temperature controlled building. I also love finding a new accessory to add to my living room. Yesterday I was shopping and I noticed so many empty spaces I asked a worker named Jill. She said they are selling at 130% everyday. On the app you can check to be notified when an item is back in stock too. Also do curb side pick up thru the app called Click and Collect. My favorite stop is in the As Is Room near the registers. I try to avoid going to IKEA on the weekends since it's a tourist destination. Some days I skip the showroom and go in the doors under the escalator. Don't forget to check out the real plants, best prices in town!

Going to Ikea is a special event for me- this is the closest one to me and it's a three hour drive! I planned my weekend around this trip. It was super busy but not crowded. They're limiting the amount of people that can go in at a time, and Ikea already railroads you through the store in one direction so it's not a mass of potentially infected weird strangers getting in your personal space. They had a line outside to get in but it moved quickly, it was probably ten minutes all total. They have a lot of hand sanitizer stations set up throughout the store, and the kids play area as well as the restaurant are closed. They enforce distance pretty well at the checkouts, too. The food counter up front is still running, though, thankfully, so you can get your meatball fix. I had a great time, I love Ikea, I'm so happy with my visit today.

Sensory OVERLOAD. IKEA is huge and while I did see things I needed not sure I wanted to commit to a long a line. Last few times I only went in for their kitchen supplies however its still a trek to check out. Their smoked salmon is pretty good for being a cafeteria dish. The desserts served are way too sweet and a one note in flavor. At check out they do have a little supermarket area, had a gluten free blueberry tart for 6.99 that was killer. Lot's of options if your playing host to a party and need quality but not bankrupt. Not a fan of the one direction through the store. It's not like no one is there to tell you your going the wrong way but I did get the irritation vibes. What is up with their carts it's like they had one too many shots and can't be steered in a straight line? Good thing I like walking and you should too if your planning a visit, from your car, to get lunch and than to check out it's a trek. I definitely couldn't handle their holiday shopping, some weekends aren't bad and I might like a nice walk maybe in January when it's too cold outside and I've got cabin fever.

Love this store. I'm not one that enjoys shopping. Like, at all. BUT, put me in an IKEA or lumber store and I'm in. 100%. Great furniture, easy to assemble, clear picture by picture directions, long lasting. Curtains, bedding, candles, plants, other window treatments, cabinetry, blankets, throws, rugs, kitchenware and appliances...you name, they have a minimalist solution for small and large spaces.

Good place to walk around. Need small furniture for my kids dorm room, this place works plus Swedish meatball are good.

I always enjoy visiting IKEA and feel like I end up getting some items I want or need when I visit. They actually had the cheapest indoor chair cushions compared to the likes of Walmart and Amazon. I also was able to get a super cheap stool from the clearance section as well - which is great they offer this spot even if most of the time I do not find anything I want. The cafeteria is such a bonus as well and we have always enjoyed the food here when we do decide to eat. The grocery section is fun to walk through as well, even though I wish it wasn't after the registers. I highly recommend their cinnamon rolls too! I usually never need assistance from employees so that never has been an issue for me, but the last two times I was there an employee was super helpful both times. One helped direct me to the correct department to find my item, and another was very friendly near the registers. Also, getting 5% off my purchase every time I shop in store via their friends and family program is such a nice bonus! Overall, I really enjoy IKEA and love having one in our area!

I'm sure it's all been said before, but if you want inexpensive, put-it-together yourself furniture that is nowhere near top of the line but definitely not super flimsy either, IKEA is your place! I mostly enjoy it for all the fun little knickknacks and unique & different art pieces & lighting fixtures. It's an absolutely massive store, so I can't feel toooo guilty about mindlessly shopping here for hours on end because at least I'm getting a lot of steps in haha! Make sure you get some chocolate bars at the checkout (thereby negating all the good you did by walking around the store!) and if you're hungry for more, there's authentic-ish Scandinavian food in the restaurant and snacks in the bistro. The cinnamon rolls are worth the trip alone.
