I really liked the IKEA North York location. The store is well organized, and the self-service points are very helpful. You can easily find information about items or get assistance without having to search for staff. One of the best features for me was being able to check out directly through the IKEA app, which saves a lot of time instead of waiting at the checkout counters. The warehouse pickup area is huge and well managed, making item collection smooth and efficient. Overall, a great experience and a well-designed store

Always a great experience shopping at Ikea. The store is always very clean with staff that are some of retails friendliest. I love their cafeteria with their selection of healthy food that is fair priced. I have found going during the week or friday night to be the best times to go with regards to volume of other shoppers. Both large stores in Toronto seem to be shifting around their displays currently. We more ikeas in the world, with their values.

The store is well-organized, clean, and thoughtfully laid out, although it can get busy during weekends and peak hours. Despite the rush, the experience is still enjoyable because of clear signage and helpful staff when you need assistance. One of the highlights of this IKEA location is the cafeteria. The food is surprisingly good for a furniture store, offering tasty and affordable options. It does tend to get crowded, especially around lunch and dinner time, but the wait is worth it. The veggie hotdog is an absolute must-try—simple, flavorful, and great value.

The quality of the products is good for the price, and the designs are simple but stylish. I also like that IKEA provides clear instructions for assembling furniture. The staff were friendly and helpful when I needed assistance. Overall, IKEA is a great place to shop if you want practical, good-looking furniture at reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend it.

In ikea north York there are ev parking where customers can park and charge for two hours free. Everytime I go there there is a Nissan leaf parked right NEXT to the Ev parking spot BUT used the charging on the ev spot. See pictured. This morning when we got there at 9:30am the car already charged for almost two hours. But when we finished the meter showed the car only charged 30 mins. So that means the car unplugged and plugged again so they get free charging again. We are sure it’s a staff because it is there all the time. Also when we check our cameras we notice another ikea staff unplug and plug on her Cadillac so she can get free charge on the ev spot all day. This is not right. That means ikea staff park in or beside these spots and took all the charging for their good. If you charge there for 2 hours it’s fine. But coming out to unplug and plug it’s not right. IKEA Canada should look into this. Pictures include the Nissan lead parking next to ev spot to charge all day and another staff charging her Cadillac all day by unplug and plug every two hours.

IKEA has some good designs and prices, but the amount of assembly work required for many items is excessive. This should be clearly stated on the product label — how much time and effort it takes to assemble should affect the price. If a product requires hours of work and multiple tools to put together, that should be reflected in the cost. Overall, good value and selection, but more transparency on assembly difficulty would make the experience much better.

The IKEA cafeteria was extremely dirty during my visit. There was food and trash on the floor, and no staff seemed to be cleaning or maintaining the area. Many tables were left unwiped for a long time, making it very unpleasant to sit down and eat. On top of that, one of the Asian staff members at the food counter had a very poor attitude. They were rude and unprofessional, and I noticed they deliberately hid their name tag, which felt inappropriate and against basic customer service standards. More, we wanted some ice cream after our purchase at IKEA. The ladies at food court again, unprofessional. Laughing and talking to each other while 5 orders were in line. One of the ladies touched their nose with bare hand and started to serve food without gloves. A huge red flag on food safety issue Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Cleanliness and respectful service should be the bare minimum for a restaurant, especially for a brand like IKEA.

IKEA's restaurant is currently running a promotion offering a Deluxe Breakfast meal for $5.99 and a pancake meal for $2.29, which provides good value for money, making it a worthwhile stop for breakfast if you're nearby. The food is generally good but ordinary and not surprising, so if you live far away, it may not be worth the trip just for the meal. It’s a good idea to take advantage of the promotion before it ends, especially if you were already planning a visit to IKEA. The breakfast experience was enjoyable. This makes it a convenient and budget-friendly option for a quick meal before shopping or other activities nearby.
