IKEA Vaughan - Restaurant

The food was pretty decent not going to lie. If your a vegetarian and are craving something savoury I suggest you get the veggie balls meal, it’s honestly super filling and tastes great

Perhaps I did not eat at the restaurant per se, but the one at the exit. The restaurant did look inviting and inspired me to get a veggie dog before I left. The place was not perfectly clean, but still much cleaner compared with those in BC. I appreciated they offered chargers 🔌, even though I did not need it. It would be a great place for snacks or light dinners as we stayed at one of the hotel nearby.

Everything is relatively modest, offering only 3 or 2 menu options. Unfortunately, the salad and soup serving didn't quite meet my expectations, and the Swedish meatballs lacked flavour. On the bright side, the poutine was quite good. It was not a bad experience, but I don't think I will try again.

The IKEA restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its diverse menu and affordable prices. The cozy atmosphere, coupled with friendly staff, creates a welcoming environment. The Swedish meatballs are a must-try, and the layout provides a unique and enjoyable dining adventure. It's a fantastic spot for both shopping breaks and casual meals.

Ikea food quality is solid, and due to high turnover the good is always fresh. Finding Haddock and chips is always tricky and they have ran out of ot almost everytime I have visited . Desert variety is definitely good and nice portions but my favorite is still the icecream in front of the Cash register

IKEA goes as far as possible in cheapening dishes, but not making them tastier. 🙁 Now the piece of salmon has become even thinner. Absolutely mismatched tastes of side ingredients. Absolutely unsalted rice with corn, sweet beets, and some tasteless greens. A slightly spicy sauce that would be good with chilled shrimp, but not with hot steamed fish. Medallions are now considered as separate meals. Unfortunately, the lemon-dill sauce has disappeared. Minus 10 points to the inventors.

Came to Ikea for their half price Swedish entree's on Thursdays. I believe they're running this promo until August 2024, but not fully sure. Got both the Swedish meatballs meal and the fish and chips meal. For the price amazing. Swedish meatballs honestly tasted really good, and with the mashed potatoes and jam/jelly, Unbelievable combo. Fish and Chips were basically like frozen fish and chips but for $4.50 I cannot complain. I would definitely come back on a Thursday again to get food. I will say, it is very busy, imitates a massive food hall, so beware of that.

The food is amazing if you're hungry and want something hearty and quick. The store is good. Love the atmosphere. It's always nice to be able to physically test furniture you're going to purchase. The staff are always so nice and very easy to work with. Really a good place to go to save money and refurnish.
