Ike's Love & Sandwiches

As always, Ike’s offers an unrivaled sandwich. Truly nothing is as good as a Madison Bumgarner with red onions and jalapeños. Yum! I’ve tried every other sandwich place out there and still nothing compares. You’ll get a fantastic consistent sandwich each and every time. The staff are really nice, the timing of their orders is impeccable, the restaurant is clean and you can see the people that work there from the manager on down all care. They are also a kind company. Who else does the kind of rewards that Ike gives us. This is the cream of the crop sandwich place that does it all well.

WORST Sandwich i ever recieved in my life. Just see the photos, do not order here, they didn't put chicken in my sandwich. I paid $20 for 2.

I was interested to try when I heard that they had a new Billie Eilish sandwich. Unfortunately no sign of that on their app, but they do have many vegan options, which is great, and that's one reason why I'd recommend them!!

Great vegan options available. The Meatless Mike is my go-to sandwich. Received amazing service from Chloe who helped veganize my meal and went out of her way to make me feel welcomed and cared for. Thank you!

Great place to enjoy a variety of sandwiches. Offers vegetarian options as well. The staff was very friendly, informative and quick. Nice seating indoor and outdoor. The prices are actually reasonable. Enjoyed it amd hop they bring a restaurant near me in Frisco, Texas. I might even be interested in owning one in Texas if possible. ENJOY!

Our team's lunch order from Ike's via Uber Eats was a huge hit! Everyone raved about their sandwiches. The sheer variety of options made it easy for everyone to find something they loved. Highly recommended for lunch. They pack every millimeter of their sandwiches. Get ready for a food coma for the rest of afternoon.

I stopped in tonight 11/19 and they were kind of busy but everything went very smooth! The guy at the counter was cool and helped me get a #111 and it was phenomenal! The Voodoo Heat chips were also phenomenal! Hadn’t had those since I visited home in Florida. *The treat in the bottom of the bag are those amazing caramel apple lollipops😁😁

BE WARNED BEFORE EATING HERE! I love Ike's and have been to this location several times before. Tonight was a huge (and disgusting) disappointment. I ordered two sandwiches to-go around 7-7:30pm. Upon getting home and unwrapping both sandwiches, I discovered MULTIPLE hairs in BOTH sandwiches. The hair was scattered amongst the meats and vegetables, and they were clearly visible once you unwrapped the sandwich fully. My friend and I only took a couple bites before realizing that both sandwiches were contaminated. One hair -- honest mistake, but multiple hairs in TWO completely different sandwiches is cause for concern. There is clearly a quality control issue (or maybe my friend and I were targeted) at this location. Such a disappointment for an almost $30 order. Now I'm not sure if I'd want to return to Ike's at all.

BOGO mentioning this offer on the APP :D Ikes sandwiches are reallyyy good and should definitely try at least once :) a few chairs and tables to dine inside, service is always super friendly, and they always include a cute apple lollipop with my order. Very different from subway, and known for their 800+ sandwiches and fan favorites. Their ingredients always taste super fresh and their pastrami is very tender. I've tried a few and was surprised at how yummy everything was: - Ike's Reuben : perfect for pastrami and slaw lovers! Their secret sauce is delish and free lettuce and tomatoes. - Rockin Roenick : chicken, turkey, and bacon with Gouda and honey mmm ! - Venice mase : a kick with wasabi mayo paired perfectly with roast beef and bacon. Have been here way too many times this week haha but their sandwiches always hit the spot and is perfect to share as well! A bit on the pricer side but the quality says it all. I love their sourdough bread, soft and fresh. Definitely get their app for points and free sandwiches :) Their combinations are very unique and I'm excited to try more! Be back soon!

First time trying Ike's today. This store did not pass the eye test and is night/day compared to Jersey Mikes cleanliness. The sandwich bar behind the counter looked like a dirty kitchen that hadn't been cleaned/organized for weeks. Crumbs and lettuce were on floor of the restaurant. The two employees barely spoke and I legit had to repeat every single question I asked three times. Bizarre. I was nervous but decided to order and thank goodness the food was really good. Ordered create your own with halal chicken (shredded chicken) on Dutch crunch bread and the bread was unique, delicious, and packed really solid flavor. My only complaint is the bacon they use is the Oscar Meyer microwaveable kind. Otherwise ingredients were good and despite my shock at a sandwich spot not having Mayo (WTF?) the dirty sauce was really good, it's like a garlic aioli. Ratio of meat/cheese/toppings was spot on and love that they use the conveyer belt toaster. Sandwich was $20 but super filling, will prob eat half / save half next time. Will want this sandwich again but I hope they visit a jersey mikes soon to understand how to operate a deli lmao.

I remember going to the very first location in San Francisco many years ago when I lived there and I've been super disappointed with this location for the 2nd time because of customer service. I ordered 3 sandwiches on Saturday to be picked up on Sunday and take them to my first Reggae Festival at the Hollywood Bowl with my new girlfriend and her cousin. The ordering process was fairly easy and I was excited about introducing them to Ike's! However, when I went to pick up my sandwiches they weren't even made and the guy who looked for my order in the computer didn't even have the decency to apologize for the sandwiches not being made. He instead told me "they aren't made--I don't know what happened...it'll be about 10 minutes ". Really?! No apology?! If I didn't need the sandwiches for the festival I would have asked for a refund and walked out without them! Worst customer service ever!

I go to this area often and when I am in the mood for a sandwich, Ike's is always my go-to because of the many creative options on the menu. I think I have ordered the Robin Williams the most, which has halal chicken, mushrooms, pepper jack, and Italian dressing. Every bite is tasty and leaves you wanting more, which is why I usually finish this sandwich the day of. I often get the Dutch Crunch with my sandwiches also and a cookie to satisfy my sweet tooth. There is ample parking in the area and they have great service here. There is also a restroom as well and several tables that you can choose from for your dining experience. Other great options include the Menage A Trois, which has halal chicken as well, honey mustard, honey, BBQ sauce, cheddar, swiss, and pepper jack. We're Just Friends is also a great choice that contains zesty orange glaze and avocado along with pepper jack and halal chicken. So many options here! Give it a try!

The absolute worst employees. They have "i hate it here" attitude as soon as you walk in. Its like they don't know they can quit, or the employers loves miserable angry employees. There is no meat on the sandwiches, its mainly sauce. Its depressing as soon as you walk in, like there's a dark gloomy cloud over the store and it is empty. I wanted to leave as soon as I walked in.

If you like bad customer service and getting nothing on your sandwich go here!!! The employees are lazy and depressed. It took 15 minutes for them to take my order and another 15 to make my sandwich. I ordered a reading rainbow with added salami and banana peppers. The worker looked at me like I was crazy and asked me why I was ordering that. I tried calling twice for a refund since there was no avocado and only 2 pieces of salami on my whole sandwich. Overpriced and too long of a wait for mediocre food.

I am by no means vegan but the specials from this month's veganuary line were delicious. I tried a bit of 3 sandwiches since I shared with others. Dutch crunch is a must for the bread since it's iconic at Ike's. Vegan Mack Daddy: This one had vegan meatloaf as the protein so it was the "meatiest" and most filling out of the three for me. It was almost like a burger in sandwich form. Vegan Fall'ing for Ike's: I'm a huge holiday sandwich lover so when I saw that they put a generous amount of cranberry sauce, I was so happy. The protein of choice here was vegan turkey and it claimed to have sriracha but there was no spice, although it would've made it better. Vegan Mel-lo Kitty: This one features vegan orange chicken so it was pretty sweet. It also has avocado and vegan cheese although there wasn't too much of either to really see it shine through.

THEY ARE NOW SELLING BREAD! Hooray :) This stuff is delicious and I am pleased they are now providing the goods!

Ike isn't the only one dishing out Love at this Culver City location! For the second time this week, I stopped in for lunch because The Madison Bumgarner has left me craving it and the Dutch Crunch bread once again! Yes, these sandwiches are made with love, and it shows not only by way of an open view kitchen, intriguing flavors, and bread so fresh and perfectly crunchy that you're left thinking about even after it's gone. The people here are so nice. One gal I'd like to give a particular shout out to is "Essence". When I walked in today she was hard at work managing the prep and register with a smile. She greeted me so nicely and made the interaction fun, the kind of customer service that makes the customer come back for! She happily attended customers as they came in and packed up orders as they came up, hustling all the time with a smile, a big love greeting for all! She commented on the selection "that's the way to do it" as if she genuinely thinks your order is the best one she has taken all day! She had a big smile on her face that couldn't help make me smile right back! She is hard worker and deserves a raise just for how she makes the customers feel! The location is pretty busy at lunch, between the delivery orders and customers walking in . A few tables to sit and eat inside and a few shared between neighboring Sidecar Donuts and Robek's Juice. Parking can be touch in the Culver Center which is always busy, but a large lot you just have to be patient sometimes. Ordered the Madison Bumgarner sandwich on Dutch Crunch Bread (so damn good)! It's a shredded steak sandwich with Ike's Honey Mustard BBQ sauce, lettuce, cheese (Jack and Cheddar), shredded iceberg lettuce and tomatoes (though I passed on them!). Really a great sandwich shop filled with flavor, great service (thanks Essence for making my day) and though it's a bit pricey... I'll be back!

ILS is a cool sub chain based out of the bay área. I've been to several and always enjoyed the subs. I rated the one in Westwood 5 Stars and this one in Culver City also achieves that distinction. My sub was delicious. I also really liked the flavorful cajun chips and they carry my favorite Calypso lemonade(I had the delicious Kiwi flavor). Service by Manager Joey was A+ in a very busy restaurant. The location is great on Overland a block north of Washington across from the main Sony studios entrance.

bad customer service , the lady that's working tonight seems like she isn't interested in working , she was really rude and very sarcastic . I didn't like the way she was responding to simple questions making me feel stupid & also I wanted to place an order and she clearly stated she hasn't been taking phone orders the whole day . Which doesn't make sense if on the phone it's promoting phone call orders , Ike's get your customer service better & don't promote phone call orders if you guys can't meet them . I called so many times for like 20 mins straight and not once did they want to answer . And when she answered she was super rude , idk what's her issue but she needs to relax . She is just lazy and doesn't want to work , pushing away customers with that service and attitude .

If you haven't tried @ikessandwiches yet, you're definitely making a big mis-STEAK! @ikessandwiches claims to have the BEST sandwiches in the world, and I would definitely MELT for them. I tend not to be impressed with restaurant chains, but they blew me away with their perfectly toasted, crispy bread, generous servings of protein, and high quality fresh produce in their sandwiches. They also have a super unique, secret Ike's Dirty Sauce, which is a creamy garlic aioli toasted into the bread, and absolutely a must-get in my book. Definitely make sure to check out their new limited edition flavors Arrow (1/3 lb wagyu pastrami, my favorite!) and Floryn (1/3 lb vegan Korean bulgogi), which were literally the best sandwiches I've had in a while.

Great late night sandwich option. Closes later than most - 10pm. Parking is a little funny. However, you can park in either lot because Ikes is facing the street beside the restaurant ,Sidecar. I really love their green pesto and chipotle pesto with Turkey on a the Dutch bread. Super delicious. Service is pretty swift, when ordering staff does seem annoyed with your questions. Especially if every condiment and sauce costs. There was a lot of boxes on the side, maybe where they store it. Nice looking store and very bright layout. Sandwich was really fresh so I don't have much complaints. Chill sandwich spot

Very disappointing. The avocado on my sandwich was not ripe and all and hard to chew. I had to pick it all out. Will not be going back.

Fyre asf, the staff was friendly n fast and got my order in seconds from ordering, the staff over heard my order as I was placing it and immediately started cookin, barely sat down for a minute and was out the door within that, the ménage was 100/10

I had catered sandwiches from here at a work event so can only review the food but oh my ! They were DEEELISH;) I had a "ménage a trois" & the bread was a little sweet, & crispy on the outside & fluffy inside ;) The chicken looked like canned chicken & it's texture ? Not too saucy. DEEEELISH! such vibrant exciting new flavors & I would eat here again asap !

Tried this place for the first time. I asked for my sandwich to not be toasted. Great customer service. Got the Italian type sandwich. A smidge too much bread vs insides and wish they added more lettuce or wet ingredients bc it was tiny bit dry. Good flavor overall.

We've gotten sandwiches from here at work several times. The sandwiches are great and I've loved the brown butter marshmallow treat that came with them a few times

Very pleasantly surprised and didn't realize the bread is toasted like they used to do at Quiznos and that was really nice. I had the Matt Cain which seemed like it was one of the more basic sandwiches there. I don't like a whole lot of stuff all over it and chose not to have their sauces. I just had mustard. The service was very friendly and quick, and I would definitely give it another try. The menu is overwhelming, however, so take some time and read through it.

Sandwich chain with big portions and fun combinations. They're open late, so came here post-concert on the way home for a late dinner. It's located next to Sidecar and there's a parking lot. Credit cards accepted. Indoor dining only. It seems to primarily be a takeout spot. When we went, the single occupant restroom was out of order. You order at the counter first and pay, and then they'll call out your order. I opted for the Jaymee sandwich, which still made for a decent lunch as leftovers. The sauce was good. If you check in on Yelp, you can get a free bag of chips. There are vegan options as well.

Got there at 8:45 (says they close at 10?) no one acknowledged me standing at the counter for 10 minutes saying excuse me ? While they cleaned so I just left, maybe wrong hours posted ? Could have at least told me they close early or something.

The service here was horrible. Me and a friend came in today and we ordered our sandwiches. As we were waiting for our order to be made my friend who ordered a drink (Gatorade) had forgot to get the drink out of the fridge after he had already paid. So as anyone would he went to the fridge to retrieve his drink. As he was doing so I was watching him and I saw one of the workers eyeballing him as he was getting the drink and gave him a look of "aren't you gonna pay for that" and continues to just stare at him. My friend being confused as to why he's staring at him so intently come back to stand near me where now he is mad dogging the both of us. I don't play that at all. What's with the stare down?? He continued to give us weird glances as we're waiting for our food and we were standing next to the chip display he comes over very close to us doesn't even say excuse me grabs a bag of chips and stares at us once again as he walks away. Idk what's up with that guy but he had a hat on dark medium-long length hair with a mustache. Learn how to manage how you treat your guys guests. Everyone there looked freaking depressed.

I discovered this place when I was Door Dashing. I had a pickup here, and while I was waiting for them to finish putting the order together, I got a look at the menu, and was VERY pleasantly surprised at the amount of vegetarian options. And it all smelled SOOOO good. So I've returned to get some sammies for myself. SO delicious. Unfortunately, I cannot eat here too often, as the sandwiches have a TON of calories, but for a once-in-a-while treat, I highly recommend this place, whether you are vegetarian or not.

It's a good spot to grab a sandwich. The place is nice and clean, the guys that work there were cool and down to earth. The prices are decent. I'm being completely honest,,, the sandwiches are not great, but they are good! But that's just my opinion.... If you're in the area and in the mood for a sandwich,,,, check this place out. Don't just take my word... try them out and judge for yourself..

this sandwich was so good. my goodness. Even after I retoasted the second half hours later. Huge fan of the butterscotch root beer they have in the fridge too! I'll def be back. Staff that day was kind.

This is the first time I have visited Ikes and I will be back. I was blown away by the veggie options and got the Pee Wee. Totally delicious. The crunch roll is perfection. I highly recommend.

Ike's is amazing. I don't know how they do it. I've never had a bad sandwich here or at any location. Even when I try something out of my comfort zone that isn't for me (The Marshawn Lynch for example) it's a high quality sandwich made with love. The staff at this location is always on top of things. Food is ready when they say it will be ready. I love the atmosphere of the shop and there is something really magical about ordering a sandwich named after a legendary player from the San Francisco Giants and eating taking it to go and eating it in the parking lot of that dump known as Dodgers Stadium #BeatLA

Love this location! I've ordered sandwiches both in person and through the app and it's always been a super seamless process. Parking might be a little bit tricky here - Ike's has a small lot, but soon it'll share it with Sidecar doughnuts next door and Culver Center itself is always busy. I've tried a ton of Ike's sandwiches - the Matt Cain, the Hunter Pence, the Adam Richman, the Going Home for Thanksgiving. There's really not a bad one in the bunch and if you can't decide, the staff was super helpful in helping me decide based on what I like.

3.5 stars - Pretty alright! I love the variety of the sandwiches and everything tasted fresh. Service wasn't the best but not a priority in a place like this. You get pretty much exactly what you're looking for - a solid sandwich shop with some unconventional menu options.

Ordered via Door Dash - it arrived the scheduled time (I ordered 1.5 hours ahead of time "NO RUSH" option and it did indeed arrived in 1.5 hours...) and the food was delicious! I got 301. HANDSOME OWL ($14.35 on DoorDash) and my sister ordered 68. CHASE OTTNEY IS HELLA SEXY ($11.45 on DoorDash). MANY different ways to customize your order. 301. HANDSOME OWL - I got this vegan, on FRENCH bread, with every veggie on it, red onions and NO Swiss. 68. CHASE OTTNEY IS HELLA SEXY - my sister got this on DUTCH CRUNCH bread, ONLY lettuce. Food was VERY filling and flavorful. Definitely will order again!

Everything about Ike's I loved!! Our sandwich was amazingly delicious. The staff was friendly. Ambience is basic sandwich shop. I can't wait to go back & try another one of their 100+ sandwiches.

Came here for the first time after a Wheel of Fortune taping and it didn't disappoint. The service was friendly and fast and, while the employee accidentally gave away my sandwich to the wrong person at first, it was so delicious it made up for it. The sauces were super tasty and the dutch crunch bread was fantastic. Will be going back soon to try more off their huge menu!

The bread and sauce alone are definitely worth the price! The sandwiches are named after mostly SF sports figures with the exception of a few like Kobe and Alex Trebek. It's a great effort to bring the community to this SF based sandwich shop. They took over the old subway space. Although I hate this parking lot, at least there is one! As with all new establishments, it was pretty chaotic on a Saturday afternoon (around 1 pm). There's an attempt to organize the app based ordering services but still orders were being taken by mistaken. Between trying to service the app based orders and in-person orders, they definitely appeared to be overwhelmed. All in all though, everyone was wearing a mask and there was enough space inside for distance. We ordered in person and got our sandwiches in a timely manner, I was surprised it didn't take longer! I got the matt cain, roast beef salami turkey godfather sauce provolone. The dutch crunch bread is very delicious and memorable. It holds up well for the content of the sandwich without being hard or difficult to bite into, quite the perfect sandwich bread! Very delicious sando. I also tried the hunter pence, turkey/bacon/avo/bbq sauce/honey mustard and three cheeses. It sounds like a lot and weird to have two sauces but remarkably it works really well! Many of their other sandwiches are halal chicken based, will have to try one of those next time. Overall very good experience especially for a newbie restaurant!

Stopped by Ike's last week for the grand opening of their new Culver City location! I got the Matt Cain on sourdough, which came stuffed with roast beef, turkey, salami, godfather sauce, provolone, lettuce, tomato and banana peppers. I loved the sauce that it came with and it was served hot and toasted! I also got a lemonade to wash everything down! I will definitely be coming back for more of their amazing sandwiches since they have over 800 sandwich options to choose from! They have a bunch of GF and Vegan options as well so definitely check them out

Ike's is a reliable spot if you want a good sub with a variety of vegetable options. At most places the meat takes precedent. I normally always get the Vegan "Pee Wee" sun but today I tried the "Sometimes I'm Vegetarian" which had artichoke, mushroom and pesto.

I lived in the bay for a few years, where I tried Ike's for the first time. I missed it so I couldn't miss this grand opening here in Culver City! The first 25 people got a free choice of a sandwich, a T-shirt, and the opportunity to meet Ike in person! Everyone in line was greeted by the friendly staff! I tried their delicious Aviator sandwich, which is exclusive to their Culver City location - vegan fried chicken, southwest pesto ranch, Swiss cheese, tomatoes and lettuce. Picked Dutch Crunch bread al the way! About 430 calories, according to their menu. I also got a cool Tshirt, and got to meet Ike! Every sandwich comes with a caramel apple pop!

We usually order online, which is convenient because sometimes they get busy. My go-to order is the Matt Cain, no tomatoes, on Dutch Crunch, and with an extra side of dirty sauce. It's so bomb that I never want to order anything else, but I've tried my friends sandwiches (Ultimate Warrior, Adam Richman, We're Just Friends) and they were all yummy too.

I'm so happy we have an Ike's on the Westside after the Westwood location closed down. This location offers all the classic favorites plus two Culver City exclusives, and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. There are tables outside as well as inside. There is a small parking lot on the side of the building as well.

So good, the perfect cheat day sandwich. Must get the Dutch crunch bread, it makes every sandwich better. Doesn't matter which sandwich you eventually pick though (selection is absolutely overwhelming), all that I've tried have been great. Parking is easy in attached lot.

Oh my goodness. What a GEM! Being a vegan, I sometimes miss a good sub, but not anymore!! Holy smokes-- there are so many different options to choose from (tysm) as well as regular subs with animal products. I decided to go for the Pee Wee with pickles and banana peppers added. Wow! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The bread was fresh, the toppings were fresh, the vegan turkey was freakishly savory. Simply delish! My only negative thing to say about this place is there isn't one by me!! Open one in WeHo!! Please.
