One of my favourite cafés from this Tokyo trip. The service was warm and kind - the lady who served me was so pleasant and gentle. I don’t usually go for fruit cakes, but she recommended their blackcurrant Victoria cake, and it turned out to be one of the best cake I’ve ever had. The light meringue on top pairs beautifully with the naturally sweet jam and soft, fluffy sponge. It was lovely! Even the tableware was gorgeous, adding to the whole experience.
The space itself is quiet and intimate; you’ll need to take the stairs up to dine in. They also sell some beautifully curated vintage items, which add to the charm of the place.
The locals were ordering their curry, and it smelled incredible, I wish I had more room to try it too!
