Ikon Hotel

Checked into the Ikon Hotel. Was met with by Steven (really welcoming)and escorted to the room and shown everything that was on offer. The room was immaculate and definitely delivered a 5 star presentation. A light breakfast was supplied accompanied with yoghurt, fresh milk, tea and coffee a juice. The bed was super comfortable and the linen and towels in the bathroom were of high quality. The decor of the room seemed really professional. What a great find and great value.

Immaculately clean room ... comfortable and cosy!! Laura and Stephen could not have been friendlier and willing to help with anything. Amazing customer service. Embers & Vines directly downstairs was deliciously amazing with friendly staff and perfectly located when staying at The Ikon. Very boutique ... not just an old pub hotel ... classy and well worth the stay. We couldn't recommend it more. And the mirrors ... just wow!!

Right in the heart of Burnie, rooms were a generous size and very clean. My only small criticism is that the pillows were really high.. which was until I found a lower profile in the cupboard! Also… I’m left pondering, how on earth they managed to get the mirror in the room! Would return to the Ikon!

The old restored pub accommodation is fantastic. Steve was wonderful at check-in and was very welcoming and was happy to tell about it's history. Great location and really good price for the room size and quality fit out. Do love staying in old pubs and this is up there with the best. Thankyou Steve.

First time visitors up from Launceston to celebrate a birthday with a good mate. Food was superb, the 12 hr slow cooked beef to die for. The gnocchi and slow roasted lamb was flavoursome too and we have to acknowledge the gorgeous Montana who served us with great competence and an abundance of joie de vivre! Interiors are classy, wine list has got everything you need!

Highly recommended staying here. Lovely staff member Laura nothing was too much trouble. The room was huge clean and tidy very comfy bed. Great location walking distance to everything restaurants, shopping and the little penguins 🐧.

Very friendly helpful staff. The room was like a 1 bedroom apartment! HUGE bedroom, modern bathroom, separate kitchen area, fantastic. Beautiful old hotel with lovely balcony as well. Lots of steps though, not the best for people with joint problems or other mobility issues. Can walk to all shops as it's right in the CBD of Burnie. Very good nightly rate for what you get. Beautiful place, will stay again for sure. Thank you Ikon Hotel. 😊

This has been the best one we have stayed in so far on our trip around Tasmania by far beautiful room the best staff great location the restaurant down stairs was the yummy food super friendly staff as was in the ikon
