Ikonik Parlament

If you are looking for a large hotel with bars, restaurants, swimming pool etc. this is not for you. If you are happy to stay in a small hotel (65 rooms) an area convenient to most attractions, lovely rooms, decorated to a high standard, cleaned to a high standard, with comfortable beds, great quality towels, bath gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand and body lotion. There is also a mini bar in room, a safe in the room which they do not charge for. The only meals you can purchase is breakfast which I cannot comment on as we do not eat breakfast. However they supply free coffee ,tea, drinking chocolate and water 24 hrs a day in a nice little lounge. There is also a small bar area which sells a small selection of drinks ( wine beer and champagne ). We found all the staff to be friendly and helpful. Check in and check out very efficient and we found all the reception staff to be extremely efficient and friendly. Just like to mention Marcel who always had time to make sure everything was ok and showed interest in things you were doing. We had not been to Budapest before but it is really beautiful city, with plenty of things to see and do. Getting round the city is easy using their great public transport system, if you are 65+ all transport in Hungry is free even for visitors . We will go back and definitely stay at the Ikonic Parlament.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel! The room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, which made settling in feel effortless. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive—always ready to help with a smile, which added a warm touch to the experience. Breakfast was another highlight. There were plenty of options to choose from, catering to different tastes and dietary needs. Whether you’re into fresh fruit, hearty eggs, or pastries and coffee, you’ll find something satisfying to start your day. Overall, a great choice for a comfortable and welcoming stay. I’d definitely return!

So friendly and spotless. I am a hotel snob so find cheaper hotels difficult. This one is comfy and cosey. I would like to say that I had such a wonderful experience with one member of staff in particular. When we arrived we found that our room had not been set as a twin room, a second room offered was the same the member of staff could not apologise enough and not only offered us free breakfast for the whole of our stay but also left us chocolates and wine in our room to apologise!! Thank you Marcell!! You are a credit to the hotel

Ambience/decoration:|The hotel is in a beautifully renovated, classic building (they won an award for their achievments!)||Location:|In Pest, in a safe, quiet residential area where you are in walking distance from the main tourist attractions! Parliament, Szabadság Tér, Palais Gresham, Szent István Bazilika, Operaház, Andrássy Út ....and much much more!|Good public transport options close by ... also easy to visit Buda.|Plenty of restaurants, cafés ... in walking distance.||Staff:|Is the greatest asset of this very good city hotel! All very friendly and welcoming.|Special mention for Anita!! No problem to get information, reservations for restaurants and taxis ...||Room:|Well kept, clean, bright, ... bathroom ok (with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion... fluffy towels).|Mini bar, safe.|Good housekeeping.||Breakfast Buffet:|Excellent choice of fresh items ... friendly young Spanish speaking girl taking care of the guests.||"Free" Lounge:|Chill place in the hotel lobby with welcome drinks to enjoy for free 24/24! Water, tea, coffee ... ||Wifi=perfect.||Recommend the Ikonik Budapest if you are looking for a very good city hotel offering value for money! 👍

Absolutely loved my stay! The hotel was stunning, spotless, and perfectly located. Exceptional service, comfortable rooms, and great ambiance. Front desk people were really helpful and outstanding in customer service. Free coffee and water is an add on.

Very nice hotel in a great location . Our room was spacious, the bed very comfortable. Lovely large fluffy white towels in the bathroom. The staff were excellent especially as we arrived minus our luggage. They gave us all the toiletries we needed and generally made sure we were made comfortable. Our luggage derived 24 hours later. The only downside was the breakfast. Although always fresh, it was the same thing every day which by day four became a bit boring. The wellness area was closed which was a dis’s appointment.

The location is perfect. Our room was a bit weird bc the windows were on the ceiling. The bathroom was not as private as one would like it to be. But the set up/decoration was very cute and modern. I would go back but to a room with typical windows.

Lovely hotel located in the center of Budapest. Perfect for visitors as only a short walk to main sites. The room is spacious with plenty of cupboard and a fridge. The staff are helpful and very polite. Breakfast is lovely with plenty of choice. Fresh fruit and bakery with hot food. |There is a lovely chill out area with comfortable seating. Free coffee, tea and sparkling water.
