Ikos Andalusia

This was our 6th holiday to an Ikos resort, and it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we were picked up at the airport, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is beautifully appointed, and spotless. The restaurants are varied and food very good. We particularly liked the promenade in front of the hotel, and used the bikes to cycle into Estepona. However the most important feature for us was the staff. The professional service, and effort they provided to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, was amazing.

We visited the Ikos Andalusia during October half term 2025. I have to say I am in love with everything Ikos offer generally but the Ikos Andalusia was heads and shoulders above. We stayed at the Majorca resort in 2024 so were keen to try another location. ||From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the wonderful Matteo who looked after us throughout our whole journey. The service he provided was exceptional but to be honest all staff are very attentive and friendly. Matteo was so engaging and made us feel like we were the only guests. The hotel was at full capacity but we never felt it. The selection of pools and restaurants was amazing. My daughter was in a wheel chair for most of the holiday but this was never an issues as the resort is mainly flat and has easy access everywhere. ||The food was amazing, the quality of the drinks were fantastic and the a service above any we have experienced. We would highly recommend this hotel and group.

​Ikos Andalusia totally redefined "all-inclusive" for us. Effortless luxury on the Costa del Sol, and it completely blew us away. ​The food is next-level: think Michelin-quality à la carte dining with premium included drinks—that was the real magic. A few restaurants and a buffet available. Literally they have every food you might want, deserts loads, fruits, vegetables salads, everything you might want, all included! The service is insane; staff proactively take care of everything, even cleaning the rooms up to four times a day. The fantastic (ALMOST all day) , included Kids Club meant the adults actually got some grown-up time. I have never ever meet staff so polite and so helpful. Literally they went up and above to meet any need we had. Even if they didn't have something requested they find a way to provide. The shops they have , include anything you might need during the holiday, you don't even need to leave the resort. They have bikes to ride for each family member, of course free of charge ( helmets too) . We will definitely come back and recommend to anyone this place ! Amazing! Not to mention the view!! The walks to the beach which is walking distance from the resort, just a few minutes. If you want a truly zero-stress holiday where every detail is taken care of, this is the one. Worth every single penny.

I booked a short break (5days) on a recommendation with my daughter and granddaughter. Via Jet 2. Flight excellent. Private transfer good about 1hr. The landscaping as mentioned in previous reviews is well thought out and very well kept, beautiful planting everywhere. Lots of pools to choose from and plenty of sun loungers, pool service easy via a bar scan code on sun umbrellas, as well as very attentive pool staff. Restaurants good, lots of choice however, book well in advance if you prefer to eat early. We had room service a couple of times as table bookings were too late for us..room service was very good and relaxing. Play area was nice for my granddaughter. The children’s entertainers were fabulous too, so much fun with a singing along. The onsite shops were handy, medical clinic too. Overall, we loved it! Felt sad to leave. Thank so much Ikos Andalusia for making a wonderful, memorable stay for us - it was very much needed 🩷 P.s your staff are amazing 👏 🌟

The reviews are all true - this resort is amazing!!! From start to finish the staff cannot do enough, so attentive and so many of them! I love how they all greet you wherever they meet you - a nice touch! The accomdation is modern, clean and goes above and beyond anywhere else we've stayed. We were in 2 minds about booking in October due to weather concerns but we needn't have worried, it was a solid 25/26 degrees all week with not a drop of rain. We really appreciated the excursions to Puerto Banus and Estepona as it helped pass a couple of mornings with 2 toddlers in toe constantly demanding the pool. We took the tesla to Ronda and we thoroughly enjoyed, what an authentic spot. Only gripe would be the recommended parking in Ronda is tight so be prepared. The only issue we had for the week was kids on bikes going around unsupervised late into the night and I know this is something others have raised. Obviously there's a question of parental responsibility but we feel a better solution would be that the hotel request bikes to be returned by a certain time. All in all we had a fabulous week and can't wait to visit our next Ikos Resort..we are hooked😁

We were a group of 5 friends staying for a week in early October. Most of us have stayed in other Ikos resorts before and we thought this was one of the best. Great resort layout, lovely pools (especially the ‘scented’ pool - lavender plants). Really high quality food and drinks. Good gym facilities and direct access to a lovely coastal promenade/boardwalk which went for miles in either direction. Staff were fantastic - especially the team in the beach Chiringuito - thank you Nadia, Juan, Vicky, Darko and all the team! Beach itself is not great sand and access to the sea for swimming is very stony - but Ikos cannot control the natural landscape! :) Overall we had a fantastic week and highly recommend the resort!

I booked the holiday for our family of grandparents, children and grandchildren. One of the main reasins for choosing the resort was the advertised water-sports and kids clubs. My family run an outdoor sea based activity centre in the UK but never get the time to really relax and enjoy being out on the waters as they’re always working. This was a perfect opportunity to go to a resort which would give them what they love to do as a family but also cater for the rest of our family groups needs. It was hugely disappointing to be told daily that the water sports were not available. Consequently their 3 girls were very bored as they couldn’t do any watersports and found the teen club very disappointing as there wasn’t much going on there. ||||We were told they were waiting for a licence to be issued from the local council. If this was the case watersports shouldn’t have been advertised on their website until the relevant licences were in place. ||||Our second major issue was that we were told that we had to eat dinner at either 6.30 or 9 because we were a group of 10. Eventually the management did allow us to eat at 7 but it still meant that we had to rush as our youngest grandson went to the children’s disco which didn’t finish until 6.30ish. There was no time to relax with a cocktail or drink before eating for our group. Every evening we felt hugely pressured to eat and go so that the next sitting could come in. ||||If we had been told about these 2 aspects before booking we definitely wouldn’t have booked to stay there. ||||I did talk to the management about our problems during our stay but no-one acknowledged the impact it was having on our holiday. I followed it up when we got back as we all felt that we didn’t get the Ikos experience that we should have and all felt completely underwhelmed by our holiday. The managements response was polite but did not acknowledge that our holiday was not at all what we expected and was very disappointing. The resort should make it very clear to people how restrictive their dining policies are before people book and also remove any facilities advertised that they cannot guarantee will be available. ||||They should also take full responsibility when situations like this do appear and try and rectify the situation but they failed to do that.

We stayed at Ikos Andalusia in October for a week, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was beautifully organized — the resort is stunning, peaceful, and truly luxurious. When we first checked in, our room was lovely and well-designed, but it didn’t get as much sun exposure as we hoped. We asked if it might be possible to change rooms, but since all rooms in that category were fully booked, the team — and especially Yanis — went above and beyond to find a solution. Yanis was exceptional: extremely accommodating, responsive, and genuinely eager to make our stay perfect. He not only listened to our concerns but also managed to upgrade us and ensure we were completely satisfied. His professionalism and kindness truly stood out and made our holiday unforgettable. The food was outstanding, the beachfront setting is gorgeous, and the whole atmosphere of the resort is calm, elegant, and relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and highly recommend Ikos Andalusia to anyone looking for a luxurious, quiet getaway by the sea.
