This was our first Ikos experience in Kos although we have been to other in Corfu before. It was a fantastic 11-day holiday with every luxury provided. ||The rooms were spacious, well-appointed and beautifully maintained every day. The grounds were a gardener's dream. The restaurants offered varied, wonderfully prepared cuisine and outstanding service. The beach was one of the best I have been to in the Greek islands with fine sand and comfortable loungers. And you still had that superb service for food and drink just the wave of your hand away. The bars were professionally run with every premium drink available and mixed in the best possible way.||Just one issue for us (and it is one that will mean we may not revisit an Ikos). Despite all this enthusiasm, our visit was spoiled by the excess of children in the hotel. At times it felt more like a creche than a lounge/bar area and kids running amok in restaurants was a frequent frustration.||The reason is probably that Ikos group offers a "kids go free" deal. For families, I appreciate this is excellent news. But for couples like us looking for a quiet, maybe even romantic, break it as a clash of cultures. Ikos group in my view needs to decide what its market is...family fun in the sun or as their marketing guff says: "unrivalled luxury beachfront resorts, nestled across the Mediterranean’s most spectacular coastlines. Offering haute cuisine, endless activities, and memorable experiences, in a stylish haven."||Sadly the two did not mix for us, and many other couples we talked to. Noisy children racing around public areas - and allowed to do so by inconsiderate parents who mistakenly believe everyone wants to hear and see their little darlings - destroys any positive karma I may have enjoyed in what would otherwise be a perfect, tranquil, sophisticated environment.

We arrived really late and received a lovely welcome and check in. It was so relaxed and it was nice to sit and relax after a busy day of travelling. Our room was a junior suite , private garden with a garden view and was situated behind the main pool bar. It was lovely and quiet and in the perfect spot for us as a family. I would have liked more space in the room as a family of 4 ( children 11&7 ) it felt a bit cramped. My daughter who will be 12 next year didn't want to sleep that close to her younger brother .... kids ! |We loved all the pools ( non deluxe so didn't get to try that one ) but our favourite was the beach pool, we preferred the shallow access into this one. There was never any issue getting sunbeds together and if an extra bed was ever needed it was dealt with quickly. We spent most afternoons at the beach , my children loved being able to walk out into the sea via the sandbags. |The QR ordering system was good and I'm definitely missing my afternoon cocktails on the beach. |The evening cruise was so much fun ! Plenty of wine , ouzo and nibbles to go around. My 7 year old got to have a go at being the captain.|We didn't manage to catch any of the mini discos as they were on a bit too early for us. The entertainment is very low key , we usually headed to the lagoon bar for a few games of uno and enjoyed the live music there. |Our favourite restaurants were KOS and Anaya , Ouzo has the most beautiful view ! |Almost every member of staff we passed would smile and greet you , the guys who drove the golf buggy's always made good conversation. |I fear Ikos has spoilt any future holidays we will have as nothing will match up to it, we would love to return but it looks like the prices next year have increased significantly. |Hopefully we'll make it back in the future!

A great place to have a relaxed and quiet holiday with the whole family. The average impression is very good, our stay was pleasant. Upon arrival, we didn’t get what we requested beforehand (the birthday cake, a bed guard and a step chair), but in the end this was arranged for us. The manager kindly apologized, was always around and tried her best to improve our experience. The staff everywhere was extra friendly and mostly helpful. The food was good, but not extraudinary (except the French restaurant — this was top). The show at mini disco was great, at a great time, and the theatre itself is located aside, so you don’t hear the show from other parts of the resort. The beach is nice, there are sand toys in the boxes for kids, and water sports options. You can also book swim lessons for kids. Still, there were few things that could be improved: the room could be cleaned better, the tables in restaurants were quite sticky, some beach boys were super slow and unhelpful. This was our second Ikos resort, and I think we’ll discover other locations as well.

This is was our second stay at an IKOS resort and we had a wonderful time. The resort itself is beautiful, lovely landscaping, and a nice sand beach. Our room was nice, but unfortunately without an ocean view. The size of the room is adequate. F&B was very good, with a nice wine selection. The food in all restaurants is very good. Service throughout the resort is very friendly and attentive, the staff is always present and always smiling. Pricing is on the high side, it's probably worth it for anybody who is constantly eating and drinking. We were surprised of the large number of small children, but it's possible to "escape" to quieter areas. Renting a car for the day is also a nice feature. Overall, a definite recommendation, especially because of the very high level of service.

Our second visit to this hotel was just as good as our first. It's hard to fault; the location and buildings/design/decor are fabulous, the staff are super friendly, polite and helpful and the food and drinks are very high quality. The biggest dilemma at the time of year we visited (the last week of October - we were literally their last visitors of the season) was which Ikos to visit, based on likely weather. Aria scores well because Kos is relatively southerly vs some of the other Greek islands/mainland resorts and we experienced around 23-24 degrees in the daytime with only one afternoon of cloud.

From the very first moment we arrived at Ikos Aria, it was clear that this resort represents the absolute pinnacle of Mediterranean hospitality. Every single member of staff — from reception to the restaurants and beach service — radiated genuine warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism. The culinary experience was outstanding: each restaurant offered top-class dishes prepared with fresh ingredients, and the variety was beyond expectations — a perfect blend of Greek authenticity and international finesse. What truly made our stay special, though, was how seamlessly everything was managed so that parents could fully relax and enjoy time with their family. Our kids were constantly engaged, happy, and well cared for, thanks to the wonderful team at the kids’ club! Every detail — from the immaculate rooms and breathtaking views to the perfectly maintained pools and pristine beach — made our week unforgettable. It’s rare to find a place where everything just works so effortlessly, but Ikos Aria achieves exactly that. We will definitely return and recommend this place to anyone — couples, families, or anyone seeking a luxurious yet genuinely warm and personal Greek island experience.

This is a spacious resort, with well equipped rooms, plenty of restaurants and all the usual Ikos characteristics. |The majority of the staff go above and beyond to offer excellent service, especially in Ouzo, Flavours and Fresco restaurants and the Beach pool bar area. |There are a few areas that could be improved: |Management could smile and engage with ALL guests at all times, saying hello should be a routine. |There are very limited bar choices after 1800 hrs and even less choice for non smokers!

Very well looked after resort. Probably located in the best spot of the island. Both beaches are fantastic with sand and great water quality. Food quality is great with plenty of options for breakfast and dinner. A little bit more limited options for lunch. Alex the guest relationship manager was very caring and came to check on us that everything was progressing well which was very appreciated.
