The brunch options were fantastic, offering great quality at even better prices. The mimosa glasses were generously poured, and the latte was simply stupendous—rich, smooth, and perfectly crafted. Whether you’re looking for a cozy place to catch up with friends or a quiet solo retreat, Il Caffe Latte delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed the brunch food, the huevos rancheros with two extra eggs. Hearty and filling, plus an iced coffee, all for just $22, which was quite fair for NYC. Food came out relatively quickly, as was overall service. The joint was pretty packed around 11am on August Sunday. Felt vibrant. 4 ⭐ across the board for an overall 4 ⭐.

We had to stop in for a quick breakfast and wanted to try somewhere new in the area. We stumbled upon ll Caffe Latte and were not disappointed. The staff was very kind and had great suggestions. The food and drinks came out quick and to a very high quality. We were able to sit right by the window and people watch while enjoying the cute vibe of the restaurant. Hoping to enjoy another breakfast here sometime soon.

The fried calamari had a nice crunchy batter and the calamari was cooked perfectly, lovely texture. The two dipping sauces were a delightful contrast to each other. The tropical ice tea was unsweetened and perfect for a hot day. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere was casual and comfortable. Nicely air conditioned as well.

The service was good and the waiter was nice. The atmosphere was nice. It's not too loud. I had the cajan salmon salad and my friend the Il Caffe salad. My friend loved his salad. Mine was a little lacking in the full flavor department. The portion was good for the price. Went there again and food and atmosphere was great! The mimosa need work though.

Stopped in today for some breakfast and it was fantastic. Everything was super fresh and made to order. Great respite from the cold. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good eats and a cozy atmosphere.

I had better and I had worst. The food was not good but was eatable. I enjoy most the salad who coming at the side. My friends plate was not good but also eatable. Maybe was bad choices. His drink was bad. The price is fair for what they offer. Service is excellent. Acapulco breakfast and cafe latte sandwich was our choices strawberry something the drink.

For the price, I was not impressed. I came here for breakfast because it was rated so well. $15 for 3 pancakes that were closer to the size of silver dollar pancakes and 1 banana (with berry compote), barely any syrup. 2 eggs were an additional $4, and not even served with toast. My companion had french toast with sides of eggs and bacon, and a cup of coffee. The flavor was good and server seemed nice but this place is definitely overpriced. $20 (nearly $50 total, including my friends food) for a simple breakfast that left me still hungry. 🥴 I think I'll look elsewhere next time.

Cute spot I take out-of-town visitors to, where we can sit and catch up and not feel rushed either (though my experience has only been on weekdays). The two vegetarian breakfast wrap options are my must-orders. One is with roasted red peppers, basil pesto, olives and feta with a salad and the "Latin" one is has America cheese, guacamole, pico and sour cream and smothered with tomatillo sauce. No side, so get the sausage! It's big enough to split for two. I've had good, attentive, refills our water glasses when it's low, service.

Such a lovely experience here, from beginning to end -- where do I begin? Our waiter was so gentle and patient. Immediately after ordered, he made sure we had condiments, extra napkins, etc. The owner also walked us through the brunch menu, and gave us recommendations. The chai tea was so light yet herbal. I love when I can taste seasonings. We also tried the chicken parm sandwich which was great. The multigrain bread was perfect. The owner was so kind & animated -- she let us sample a hot German wine that she made and we had to buy some. Such a cute place, and loved the orange seats.

This place is alright. The servers are very lovely and have great personalities. The food is just what got me. I ordered over easy eggs and was served two eggs with one broken and one pretty cooked. My mother ordered hers the same way and the same thing happened.

It's called service. You are a waitress. "to give service to" Heads up future peeps. You will wait for a menu, water, coffee, and your check. Even while they look at you. And the wait staff will not help each other out. And not sure about whats with the "I flunked my exam today" sour-puss look they present. Example: my glass is empty, I'm thirsty, I'm in a restaurant, "anyone water?" the waitress approaches and I say "can I have some water please" ( my tone was calm pleasant and without any under line intentions. She returns with a carafe of water and sits it down. Ok I'm not a waiter. But its called service. Fill the glass first THEN sit the carafe down. Oh if you want your check make for the door. It's like no pressure to leave. However if you do stay you may starve unless you prompt then to serve you.

Really awesome spot my son suggested. Seems like a perfect place to meet up with a friend for breakfast/lunch, or to set up at a table and get some work done. The space is cozy but very comfortable with lots of seating inside and out (in warmer weather). They have lots of delicious looking baked goods, an expanded coffee and tea menu and a long list of brunch options I only stopped in for coffee but saw big, fluffy omelettes, platters of french toast and bagels coming out of the kitchen and everything looked great! The staff did seem a bit overwhelmed, but there was a young woman training behind the register who was lovely.

Sitting right on Malcolm X Blvd, this cozy spot has so much character. The warm lighting, homegrown artwork, exposed brick and wooden tables & chairs are nostalgic. I come here for breakfast and various lattes on the go. It's less than 5 minutes away from my folks. The chai tea latte with the fresh cinnamon stick is my fav. They include the sticks in the to go cups as well. I'm moving my way through the breakfast offerings and will eventually try the other stuff. I've had the lox platter, omelets, French toast, fresh baked croissants, and breakfast sandwiches. Note: they charge $2 per sandwich for cheese now. Service can be a little slow because they're busy with call in orders as well. Pack your patience. If you're lucky enough to get a seat outside, enjoy the musics & people watching.

Third or fourth time coming here and will definitely be my last. Service was terrible when I dined for one. Had to send my order back 3 times for a simple sausage egg and cheese. The lady laughed in my face multiple times and made me feel like I was asking for too much when I wanted my sandwich with cheese. $40 for a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. Great place in Harlem but will not be back as I feel my dollar was not appreciated. The lady with the shaved head at the register was completely rude!

The best place to visit for great breakfast food and coffee. They have a dine in and take out option. The atmosphere is very comforting and sorta vintage. The establishment played jazz and it definitely set a nice mood. I ordered an ice latte with oat milk. This was by far the best iced latte I've had in a very long time. I ordered a omelet with hash browns as well. The omelet was great with a huge helping of spinach. The hash browns were just right ! I highly recommend this place !

went here for brunch around 1 on Saturday and had a great time! the 3 of us got lots of food to share and several drinks and coffees. the service was quick and accommodating. we sat outside on the patio and were able to move our table into the shade which made for a warm but shady environment. the food was absolutely fantastic, some of the best and most seasoned homefries ive ever had, and the portion sizes were pretty big. would definitely return!

The way the manager speaks to the employees is pathetic just because we are costumers having some coffee with friends and having fun don't mean we don't observe what's going on around us. I had such a great time there with my friend, and the manager of this place really destroyed the atmosphere. Just because you are a manager doesn't mean you need to be disrespectful and having an attitude. I really felt attacked the way she was speaking to the employee and he did nothing wrong. I wish you could be there to hear her tone of voice so you can understand what I'm talking about. I spoke to her and told her that I do not appreciate the way she was talking and politely asked her to be more respectful to the employees and all she said was "that's the way I talk" Thats so toxic! It was my first time going there definitely not going back after seeing this.

We visited NY for a few days, this place happened to be close to where we were staying. My husband googled it and all I did was look at the food pictures, it was an immediate Yes for me. We loved it so much we ate there for two consecutive days! I seldom do that, unless the food and service is great. My husband is a coffee lover and he loved their coffee! Food was so tasty and the staff so friendly!

Food was good, waffles specifically but the owner I guess or the lady at register is rude to customers and staff. I'm not sure how the guys continue to work at this establishment. It's zero tolerance for rude behavior.

We ordered breakfast to go. The service was friendly, the food was well packed, and it was soooo delicious! The egg sandwiches on the croissant were to die for. I would have loved to eat-in as the cafe was cute and cozy.

Really great service; all the waitstaff was attentive, funny, personable, and very service forward. The whole shop has immaculate vibes and an ambiance that felt comfortable. Food was great, especially the espresso drinks the iced caramel latte was just sweet enough but not overpoweringly so and the cappuccino was to die for and the proportions were well worth the price!

Cafe Latte has been one of my favorite spots in Harlem since it first opened! I would take my dog to Marcus Garvey's dog park and afterwards come and get a mocha latter and the owner always had water and dog biscuits!!! Now it is my go to spot for breakfast meetings and food for all meals! I just got a new dog and plan to walk her uptown to visit and go to the dog park too!

I was so grateful to find a cute café on Malcolm X Blvd. on a sunny Sunday afternoon. I ordered a café latte with waters to go, which was just what I needed. The ambience is very warm and quaint. Look forward to coming back for a meal.

The best mocha I've ever had (and I've had ALOT) I love coffee so I was really happy to run into this shop. The outside decor really got me. There's nothing fancy inside BUT the customer service is spot on. The gentleman who made my coffee was well nice. It was unfortunate that I didn't get a chance to stay. Maybe next time.

In a city where the diner is pretty much extinct, this place remains a star. It's charming, retro and vintage. Good food (the Il Caffe Latte egg wrap is the bomb, also the spinach chicken curry soup is one of my faves), excellent coffee and hot ginger tea (giant chunks of fresh ginger with honey!). The owner is Korean and has run this wonderfully for nearly 20 years I think (she used to have a 2nd place uptown that sadly she had to close post-covid). She's so nice and caring - her manner can be gruff (if you're familiar with Korean ahjummas, she's classic!), but behind that gruffness is a very warm heart. she loves dogs and always has fresh water and dog biscuits and gives our dog great lovvies! The staff are lovely - so sweet and fun. Really a wonderful neighborhood place for breakfast, lunch and dinner - not fancy food, just a nice casual local place.

Pretty decent local spot in Harlem. I've ordered from Il Caffe Latte a couple of times. Overall, the food is fine, and the price is well in line (or a little lower) than other places in the area. I will admit that sometimes the service can be hit or miss. This might be one of those places where you should request your check while ordering your food if you are a bit in a hurry. The older, Asian woman, who I think is the owner, is very nice. Also, she'll personally check in on you to make sure you are enjoying your food.

The food is good. So is the coffee. The staff is, contrary to other comments, polite -- at least toward me and everyone else here at the moment. But it lacks the features Yelp says it has. There is no Wi-Fi no less free Wi-Fi. It is not good for working. When I opened up my laptop I was told, politely, to close it. Basically you're allowed to eat hear, enjoy some light conversation over a second cup, but then you are expected to promptly leave. I'll not overstay my welcome.

Nice place but the boss is really bitchy and unpleasant. We are always eager to help the locals businesses but when people are acting like her you only want to leave ! Food/tea is just OK...but not worth it for putting up with an unfriendly experience time after time. I've come several times and each time barked at instead of greeted in a normal way. I give up on this place and will gladly go somewhere else. Never again!

This is a nice little bistro. The music highlights the jazz era and they seem to love Nina Simone. Wait Staff are all very nice and the food is good. This is my and my daughter's go to place.

The owner is despicable! To say the least, she's unaccommodating and very nitpicky. She is not into "you" having a valued service experience at her establishment. Which is unfortunate because her waiters are amazing. When asking for a refill of coffee after I pay the bill she stated that they don't give refills anymore after bringing me a to go cup. I have an asked Joe can I please have a another cup of coffee she snatched it to go cup and spilled it all over my friend. She returns with a smaller version of the coffee she spilled literally filled the cup up with less coffee. You would think from the experience she would have at least filled the cup up. If not given a complimentary I just wanted a full cup to walk with and enjoy this beautiful day. She yells at me "customer" why didn't I tell her the cup was full. I had my reshi and Chaga mushroom with my own stevia in the cup. So a half cup was not at all a suitable replacement. Disgusted

I have frequented Cafe Latte for years. Today, I witnessed the owner berate an employee in the restaurant and couldn't let it pass. I don't know what the accusation was, but there's no justification for treating people the way she did. I want the owner to know her customers are observing her behavior and what I saw today was unacceptable. I will no longer patronize this neighborhood restaurant as a result of today's incident. Do better.

I stumbled upon this quaint (has it all) cafe in Harlem earlier today. As the weather felt very summerlike, I only stayed long enough to enjoy a tropical iced tea. Honestly, that was it, BUT it was all about the vibe that attracted me to this place. I felt welcomed and not pressured to order anything more from the menu even though I sat at a table. But, I had already eaten and it was quiet ( no lines or anything). The energy was positive and serene and to me, that spoke volumes. Let me add that everything looked and smelled delicious as I enjoyed my tea. It was suggested that their brunches are really good---and I'm going to find out for myself soon. I just thought this little, sweet cafe was just what I needed today--so thank you for allowing me to enjoy my pitstop.

Not too sure why this place has such low ratings. I had two takeout orders, both times I got the lamb burger with sweet potato fries. I also tried their iced mocha. I had no complaints. The lamb burger was phenomenal. I personally hate sweet potato fries, but idk what they did to theirs. Their sweet potato fries are like crack. I enjoyed their coffee as well. What struck me the most was how friendly the lady was. I believe she owns the cafe or she's just always there when I visit. But she was so sweet! I had a casual conversation with her and she ended up giving me a free soda. It was very sweet of her. This cafe has a very cute charm to it if you sit outdoors. I definitely can't wait for when it gets a bit warmer so I can drink a cup of coffee while reading a book in their outdoor seating.

Dry and dusty pastry. Terrible! Make sure to check the menu for pricing! The elder lady over charges customers and then gets upset at you for pointing out the correct price on the menu!!! So rude and tacky! She was so disrespectful and didn't find the need to apologize for her intentional price gauging!

I think it's the best cafe I've been into in Harlem . It's clean , friendly , the brunches are awesome . And I love the atmosphere

My favorite brunch spot to bring family and friends. It's a nice homey feeling and most importantly all the food options they have for brunch! My go to meal is the Huevos Rancheros

Service: Great Quantity: Great Cleanliness: Good Food: Korean BBQ taco & Sweet Potato Fries What a neighborhood gem in Harlem. Great menu selections, fair price, and friendly service. I ordered the Korean BBQ taco. It was huge and enough for two people. Very generous with beef on the top, layer with lettuce on soft taco shells. Nice Korean BBQ flavor, however it was a bit sweet for me. But I think most people will enjoy due to the intense flavor. Very tender beef that I can't complain even it's a little sweet for my taste. Sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly. A great experience after all and I look forward to trying other dishes when I return.

This place has been great for everything I've tried it for -- cheeseburger, sweet potato fries, Korean BBQ lettuce wraps (3 huge ones!), and iced tea. Maybe it's not great for some other things? Every time I've come in, it's been a super quick turnaround on food, all delicious, and I appreciate that they have the various sweeteners out so I can adjust to taste rather than trying to describe to someone behind the counter how sweet I want my iced tea to be. Seconding what somebody below said about their sweet potato fries -- I usually hate sweet potato fries but theirs really hit the spot somehow. They're even better if you have any chipotle mayo around.

This is a wonderful cafe with tasty breakfast and coffee. We reserved for eight people and they set up a table outside on the street. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it a lot.

I came here to kill some time while I waited for an appointment close by and grabbed a latte and figured I would do some work on my laptop. I was shocked when I walked in to find the owner belittling the employee behind the counter taking my order so it immediately made me want to sit outside. I sat outside for a few minute, open my laptop and within 10 min the same owner came outside, cut me off from the conversation I was having an someone else to tell me "you can't use your laptop, no laptop, no wifi" very rudely. When I said " oh I don't need your wifi I have my own" she proceeded to get even more rude and say "I said no laptop or leave". I then told her "well that's weird" and she got even snappier then decided to stand behind my table and watch me my entire visit and stand outside. She's probably watching me type this out because she was very adamant about NO WIFI - which is so sad because this place has potential to be a great working cafe. So needless to say, I will NOT be returning here and anyone who treats their employees like that does not deserve to own a business. If you do visit this place, it's best to take your food/coffee to go.

Service is terrible. There is a 45minute limit for dine-in which is unreasonable for a cafe. Also saw one of the waiter basically scolded one of the customers by accussing her of having the intention to sit there for a long time using her laptop when the customer was just simply asking whether her table had an outlet. I waited for a long time for my food to be served or even to be offered water or anything. Might not come back, especially if I plan to dine in. Horrible service.

Love both locations of Il Caffe Latte in Harlem. Their menu has great variety and offer wonderful/delicious options. Green tea latte is a go-to beverage for me (it can be enjoyed hot or iced). I also like their spinach, shrimp risotto - so creamy and tasty. I often come to this location for the upbeat atmosphere. The staff members are charming and engaging. The vibe is attitude-free and very laid-back. I recommend this restaurant

Terrible place! Horrible Service! Went to Il Caffe Latte simply to get a salad and coffee. I got yelled at by older Asian woman who's presumably the owner. First, she says there's no seating and there's a 45-minute maximum use of the table. Then she proceeds to yell at and lecture me - "we don't allow people use their laptop here". I have no idea what gave her the idea I was there to use my laptop. Her wait staff was also very rude. Never brought me a menu, but came charging at me, "have you had a chance to look at the menu". I look at him surprised - I never got a menu and one would think that was pretty obvious. Anyway, I wait 20 minutes to be grudgingly seated, ordered my coffee and salad. Coffee came in good time but waited nearly 30 minutes for the salad. Not once did she or her wait staff check if I needed anything else - water, drinks, anything. As soon as I'm seated, the owner was quick to move chairs around and accommodate everyone else that came afterwards - no one waited 1 minute to get a table. When my food finally arrived, the wait staff practically threw the plate in front of me. At this point, I had completely lost appetite and was definitely concerned about what else could have been added to my salad, given the attitude of the owner and the wait staff. I decided I wasn't touching the food. I simply asked for the check and didn't say a word to complain. Wait staff decides to bring me a take-away box. As he was searching for one, owner as wait staff begin whispering to each other but I could hear them. Consistent with her extremely rude attitude, the owner's words were less than polite. I simply paid, tipped and left without touching the food. They both watched me walk out - no apologies, no questions about why I would pay for food and not even taste it. Instead, the owner frowned at and continued to mutter complaints about me to her equally rude wait staff. I decided to try out this spot for the first time as I do with every local spot. Clearly, her definition of service involves yelling at patrons, offering terrible service and taking people's money in exchange for nothing. This woman must think she's doing folks a favor by running her business here. Worse, her definition of who's local is clearly thinly defined. Terrible place! Horrible service!

Randomly wandered into this spot one chilly fall night as I was in Harlem. I was looking for some place warm and some place I could find something savory to snack on before heading to a little get together. I stopped by and glanced at the door to check out the menu. I saw Cajun shrimp quesadilla and I was sold. My friend and I entered. Not crowded at all on a Friday night. Maybe 3 groups in here. We waited by the front for someone to approach us. We couldn't tell if it was a walk in and seat yourself situation or if the workers were just not paying us any attention. We decided to walk up and see what happens. The waiter came right over and grabbed two menus for us. He gave us a choice and we picked a cute little table near the back. The menu had a lot of different options. We settled on the cajun shrimp quesadilla with guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream, some ice water, and a slice of fudge brownie cheesecake to split. The quesadilla was made in a timely fashion and the portion was a nice size. It was okay to split and would have been amazing to have on my own. As for flavor is was delicious. Juicy pieces of shrimp, a little kick in flavor, and the tortilla was slightly toasted. With the sauces we dipped and spread generously and it was absolutely delicious. I contemplated ordering a second one. The quesadilla was pretty greasy though, which was strange. Oil was dripping down my hand like a big slice of greasy pizza. Not sure why but it wasn't that big of a deal to me. It was so yummy that oil was overlooked. The waiter and the barista were pretty entertaining. They gladly suggested desserts. I enjoyed the brownie cheesecake. It was a pretty big slice and the amount of brownie to cheesecake ratio was great. I would gladly eat another slice and of course try other treats from the dessert case. All in all I enjoyed my dining experience here. It was unexpected and perfect little treat for the night. The workers were nice and the service was decent. It wasn't crowded and the diners were saw in here seemed to be pretty nice people. The decor was awesome and while you wait for your food you can look around and feel like you're in a cute little art museum. All the funky paintings on the wall would make awesome additions to my house. They also have outlets under the tables if you're running low on phone juice.

The perfect little neighborhood coffee shop with healthy food options and friendly neighbors who frequent the establishment. If you're a salad fan like me, you'll love the Cafe Latte Grilled Chicken salad loaded with ingredients that will not leave you wanting more. Not many places in the area to get a quality salad so this is my go to for that option. Love the simple decor as well!

I really tried to like this place. I've been here a handful of times but it's always a miss. After a couple of years, I came back the other day for an oat latte. I paid $6.78 - naturally (eye roll) but was disappointed. They use oat planet, a not so very good and not so expensive oat milk so right off the bat I know my coffee won't be good. If you're going to charge that much money at least use the better brand. Oatly I would suggest. I go to other coffee shops and they charge the same amount. Better coffee, better milk, better over all. #justsaying.

Not a bad place for bunch. The salmon burger is nice and juicy. The chicken pesto panini was really good as well. This is a relaxing place to grab a coffee and a bite to eat. Overall: might return, there are a lot of good options in the area.

This is my new favorite neighborhood spot and central harlems best kept secret. So don't be telling people because there's only like 10 tables and I'm not trying to wait came in one random day middle of the week, and now this is my boyfriends and I spot for some good easy and affordable food. We usually come on our off days which are in the middle of the week, and sometimes it's packed and other times pretty slow so grabbing a table isn't too much of an issue. The staff is super nice and chill, Matthew is funny as hell. Show them some love .

Get. The. Waffles. They are amazing. The dairy free homemade whipped cream and fresh fruit make the dish, and the waffles themselves are cooked to perfection. Dang. I was still talking about them the next day. Not a lot of room to wait, but luckily the turn around is pretty quick, so we only had to hover by the door for about 15 minutes. Coffee lovers--coffee comes in a BOWL. No refills needed. Haha. Such a great experience.

This is such a good quality cafe. I've been coming here for a few years now and finally tried their breakfast menu for the first time. I had an omelette which comes with a big portion side salad. I love the dressing they use for it! The staff is always so pleasant too. Great neighborhood staple.

Squash soup was tasty. Food was fresh and delivered quickly. I'd definitely order again.

This has been my go-to place for an iced matcha latte, much better than the Starbucks version! I've also dined in and had a great chicken salad. I recently tried their salmon burger and sweet potato fries, this was kind of a mess unfortunately - the salmon patty was mushy (no bad taste or smell, but the texture was way too soft) and some fries were undercooked. All in all, I'd say liking 2/3 of the things I've tried deserves a 3/5 rating.

Loving the Mixed Greens Salad with Chicken! The waiter was nice and personable! I am glad I stopped in to charge my phone and grab lunch! Sometimes it is nice to treat yourself and I am glad I cane here to do it! The chicken is seasoned nicely and it's juicy! I was expecting a smaller salad and was pleasantly suprised! I'll be taking this home for dinner too!

If you haven't been here, please check it out! This is a small coffee shop with a full lunch and dinner menu, as well as a wide selection of pastries and coffees. There is also a wine and beer selection if that is what you are in the mood for. I came here after work around 6pm and was seated right away for a party of 2. The setting is intimate so it is great for catching up with a friend or date night. I ordered a soy cappuccino and pumpkin pie- first of all, having pumpkin pie on the menu in March is already impressive, as my craving for this extends beyond what is seasonably appropriate. The pie was delicious. The total check for two drinks and two pastries came to roughly $20. Service was attentive throughout our time and even though we did not order dinner, we were not rushed at all. The customer service was great. I plan to come back and try more items.
