Il Capri Hotel

This hotel is not for the infinity pool crowd, for this one you need to have taste and a sense of style. It gives you a glimpse of the old Capri before trash tourism. If you ever wanted to live inside a Wes Anderson film you’re in for a treat. The best thing: no TV in the room. Instead you get to look out of the window to enjoy some of the most stunning views of the whole Mediterranean.

We had a fantastic stay at Il Capri Hotel in early June. We were only able to stay one night, we wish it was more. The hotel is in a great location-close to everything-and is very charming. We had one of our best meals in all of Italy on the rooftop at the Deviant restaurant, so delicious!!!!

This is a nice hotel on paper, but wait until you try to actually sleep there. There is a nightclub (called Rumore) on the property. It blasts music until 4:30am, and the bass reverberates up to the hotel rooms. We had to sleep with noise cancelling headphones on. Awful. Avoid if you like to sleep.

This is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and furnished with great style. Cannot recommend more.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. We stayed for 2 nights and the staff were so so attentive, room was lovely and clean, we got homemade pastries every day, the hotel is stunning and the breakfast was so good!! I’ve loved it. Thanks to fellice and Denise as well as all the other staff for the attentiveness and kindness

The restaurant, Deviant was amazing! Javier and the staff were wonderful and the food was some of the best I’ve had while on the amalfi coast. The clam pasta and prosciutto melon were incredible!!

Surprised to read the negative reviews here - really have to say, a wonderful location, a great staff and fantastic room. It's a very different approach for Capri - decidedly on the "cooler" and "concept" side of things, but that's a very welcomed addition to the island. The location is incredibly convenient and from arrival to each meal, the staff has been incredible - attentive, friendly and helpful. Very much recommend if you're looking for something akin to The Standard or The Edition hotels (design-centric, more contemporary approach, etc.). If you'd like a classic "grande dame hotel" - this it not it, but they're absolutely not marketing themselves at that either. Very much recommend - a wonderful choice and would happily come back!

To say we loved this hotel would be an understatement. From the second we arrived we were blown away by the property as well as the staff. This hotel was absolutely gorgeous, and the views were unbeatable. The staff was incredible and took such amazing care of us. Breakfast every morning was delicious, and apertivo on the rooftop was perfect. We can’t recommend this hotel enough! We will be back.
