This was third time I ordered fettuccine Alfredo. First time it was so buttery perfect second time it was not as buttery. Third time it was completely dif taste. More like cream fettuccine. It's like each time it was made by a dif chef and they had their own idea of what it should taste like. Instead of it being consistent with what the restaurant consistent taste

Pizza was good. I tried the Pasta Bassano — it was okay. The spaghetti didn’t taste very fresh, and the meatball tasted a bit processed. The burrata was just alright too. The place has potential, though. I’ve had some incredible Italian food in my life, so maybe this is just the best Colombia has to offer.

Il Castello Last week I went to Il Castello to celebrate my father’s birthday. It is an elegant Italian restaurant located in Provenza, El Poblado, Medellín. The atmosphere was cozy, elegant, and very familiar. I think it was a good option for this special moment, and it was also very trendy. The service in general was very good. The staff was friendly, and the waiter was polite. Also, the food arrived on time, approximately 25–30 minutes. The waiter asked if everything was fine every few minutes. In general, I felt comfortable and very well attended. The menu and the food were very good. There were many pasta options: spaghetti, ravioli, fettuccine, and Alfredo. There was also a variety of sauces. I chose the ravioli with bolognese sauce, and it was served in a very good presentation. The price was fair compared to the quality. It was worth it. In conclusion, the visit was very positive. I give it a rating of 4.5/5.

I recently visited Castello and had a mixed but overall positive experience. We tried several dishes: • Carbonara – unfortunately, it was made with cream instead of the authentic recipe, which was a bit disappointing. • Lasagna – tasty, but not outstanding. • Gnocchi – the sauce was very good, but the gnocchi itself wasn’t homemade, which made a difference in texture and flavor. On the positive side, the service was excellent. The waiters were polite, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. That really lifted the whole dining experience. One downside was that without a reservation, we were seated by the front door. It would have been nice if they had offered an option for a better table. Overall: The food has some room for improvement, but thanks to the great service, I still enjoyed the visit. I’d rate it as pretty good, and I’ll definitely be going back

First time there it was wonderful, great authentic Italian food, staff was very friendly. Great atmosphere they were not blasting out music like most restaurants in EL Poblado. I will definitely be going back.

Great Itallian restaraunt. Nice staff, delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. My son and I had dinner there during our trip to Medellin and we were both very happy we went. Highly recommend!

Think this was the best italian restaurant i had in Medellin good service best pizza dough i had in my life...and this is not a joke. Check was also way cheaper then expected had to check twice if everything was charged. So good food good service and best price.

We went for dinner with really high expectations after reading many great reviews, however, we left somewhat disappointed. We had 6pm reservations and arrived a few minutes early when one of the staff greeted us and rather unpleasantly. He refused to even allow my elderly mother to sit while we wait and made us wait outside on the street. At 6pm we were allowed in and taken to our table. Service was a little more friendly and we ordered. The pizza was really disappointing. The gnocchi and penne arrabiata were average at best. And the veal was good, however, I asked them to change the pasta side to pomodoro and surprisingly their idea of pomodoro was tomatoes and basil on dry pasta. Tiramisu was also not good. But the cannoli, while not real cannoli, was delicious. I think prices were also fair. The decor and ambiance were also very nice. I wish I liked the food more as I’d definitely be a regular customer.
