IL Castello Restaurant

We had the Jack Daniel’s burger which was nice enough. Caesar Salad is not good... Staff were very friendly however and the beer was refreshing. Nice location and offered some shade on a hot day. Lots of cats as you would expect!

Il Castello offers quick service, generous portions, and a central location with better prices than most restaurants in the Castle area. While it’s great for a casual lunch, the food itself is nothing particularly special. Ideal if you’re after something quick and simple without the frills.

The food really is exceptional here, thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Service was nice too, totally recommend. Best place to eat in the old town

I visited Limassol with my mum and arrived at this restaurant by mistake - it seemed that we ran into one of the owners just at the nearest shop -who invited us in. It was one of the best nights in Cyprus overall with really great food - we tasted almost everything out of the traditional/ local menu - and we both were amazed of how tastfull and good everything was! IT IS A MUST TO TRY SOME HOMEMADE BREAD WITH OLIVE OIL! 🫒 A huge plus for the lovely atmosphere and of course the adorable experience that we had with the owner Lady!!! Thank you again!👌 If we go back again, certainly this would be the place to go to eat!

My wife and I ate here once and both meals were of the highest standard and it comes in very large portions. The only downside was that the Waiters were a bit stern and grumpy. But the food more than made up for it.

The food is average, the place is located in the center. Kind staff but as we went there for Carnival, they were very busy and couldn’t serve well. There was no tissue and they took a bit of time to take order and bring food. But again I assume it was due to the Carnival. But the food was tasty enough.

Very disappointing service. We ordered four portions as a family — three arrived together, but the fourth never came, even after 30 minutes. We asked the waiters twice about it, but nothing was done. In the end, we had to cancel the dish because everyone else had already finished eating. To make matters worse, the management, though informed, never bothered to come over or address the situation. This is one of those places in a prime location that seems to rely on foot traffic rather than respecting and valuing its customers.

I had the chicken souvlaki and wife a Greek salad. Both excellent located next to museums. Took about 45 minutes.
