The lady at the theatre museum recommended this place. It’s quite charming and the service was really great. The food was also fantastic, the only thing was that if you ate in store, the prices are pretty steep. There is a 3.50 euro cover so my lasagna and four vegetable sides came to 30 euro. I think that’s overpriced for what you get. The crackers were really good though so if you’re a high roller, you’ll have a good time.

This place is heaven. We were attracted to their wonderful food display in the window and had to go in. It is truly perfection. You must see it (and taste it) to appreciate!

We had a truly wonderful experience at this amazing restaurant! The service was exceptional — Kristina took such great care of us with her kind attitude and willingness to help. She really made our visit special, and we want to thank her for that! Every dish we tried was delicious, but the one with truffles stood out — absolutely incredible. The flavors, presentation, and atmosphere were all top-notch. For any tourists looking to enjoy authentic and outstanding Italian cuisine, this is the place to go. We can’t recommend it enough — a solid 11/10!

Top quality place with friendly owner and staffs. Dining in the cellar downstairs was a great experience. A huge range of wines available down stairs with very good recommendations. Food was great especially the seafood pasta. You can also order food from the deli to dine downstairs as well, we chose the lamb and sausage which were amazing! English menu available. There are not that many seats so booking is advised. Highly recommended.

A charming deli and restaurant favoured by locals. Maria, Giovanna, Ivana and Santa are welcoming and warm. There's pavement dining as well as down in the cellar where you can see the Roman road and arched brick ceiling. Il Ceppo has a stunning array of wines and the food was brilliantly cooked. The stuffed courgette flowers come recommended. The deli itself is bursting with lunchtime delights and there are plenty of foodie presents to take home.

One of my best eating experience in Italy. The chefs take into consideration your choices when preparing the food for you and will come to ask you what you want. Being a no-meat water, finding good food can be challenging at certain places. However, the Basil Tortellini in this place is made for those who don't eat meat! Highly recommend

If you are looking for amazing food, wine and cheese, this is it! The team there is phenomenal, super knowledge and it’s clear they are the shop is there passion. A visit to the cellar downstairs is a must to experience the wines they offer. They will even delivery your purchase to your nearby hotel!

Mixed feelings. I found the food good, but significantly overpriced compared to the standard in Veneto (here you pay €20-30 for a main) and considering they have a deli upstairs. The location downstairs is great but you end up sitting very closely to each other which makes some moments a bit awkward. Somehow my feeling is that they try to play in the league of fine dining restaurants, forgetting about their roots as a deli. I bought again from the deli but I wouldn’t visit the restaurant again
