1. Friendly and accommodating service 2. Grilled octopus leg with potato and veal cheek with polenta were cooked to perfection. Delicate texture and flavour but not overcooked. Very authentic and well executed. 3.Tiramisu has rich egg and coffee flavour and melt in your mouth.

The food was decent but severely overpriced. I ordered the Fritto Misto (€24), and my boyfriend had the Tagliatelle with Truffle (€26). My dish came with a very basic side salad, completely undressed. While oil and balsamic vinegar were on the table, at this price point, I would expect the salad to be properly seasoned in the kitchen. We were seated on the top level, where the tables were uncomfortably close together. We could clearly hear the staff discussing what each table needed, which really disrupted the atmosphere. Perhaps some ambient background music and quieter staff communication would help. The service was underwhelming. The waitress never checked if we enjoyed our meals or needed more drinks, and for the most part, we were ignored. When we got up to leave, no one offered to retrieve our coats until we asked. Since the walk-in wardrobe was completely disorganized, they couldn’t find our coats, and we had to search for them ourselves. Normally, I wouldn’t mind seasoning my own salad, minimal service, or grabbing my coat, but when you're paying nearly €80 for two dishes and two glasses of wine, good customer service should be a given. Overall, a pretty disappointing experience, and we definitely won’t be returning.

On Friday evening, I dined at this restaurant, which unfortunately doesn't provide a menu online or outside. This made it difficult to plan our meal in advance. While the tagliatelle with truffle and fritto misto were flavorful, the overall experience didn't align with the nearly €80 price tag for two, including two glasses of wine. The service was particularly lacking. Upon arrival, despite having a reservation for two, we were simply told to go upstairs and find a waiter. We eventually located someone who took our coats and seated us. Throughout the meal, we were served by three different staff members, and none of them inquired about our satisfaction or if we were enjoying our food. This resulted in a feeling of being overlooked. The final impression was also negative. After receiving the bill, the waiter simply opened the coatroom door and instructed us to retrieve our coats ourselves. This level of service was unacceptable and has deterred us from returning.

Great food. Great Service. Friendly staff. Good Prices. It is a hard combination to beat. The best part was the waiter gave us no static about sending back a pretty expensive bottle of wine. I am pretty sure that he knew it was coming back when he opened it. He gave me the cork, and it smelled pretty bad. He took a sniff after me, but we tried it anyway! Our meals and dessert were superb. I loved the black risotto. I think I will have that again if we ever visit Innsbruck again.

Il Convento is an Italian restaurant that disappointed me. The waitress that was making our order wasn't capable of recommending and was confused with non-alcoholic drinks and didn't know what they have/offer. She also didn't know a typical Italian beverage San Pellegrino Aranciata. My meal was tasty, but my wife's risotto was oversalted. They will not see us there again.

The food, staff and atmosphere were simply amazing, it was a perfect dinner for a special occasion and we could not have enjoyed more. Fish and seafood are great quality and amazing flavour, I highly recommend coming here and simply enjoying the experience 😊 Thanks for the warm treatment!

Innsbruck’s Excellent Dine caters to vegetarians with specially crafted Penne Arrabbiata and Minestrone soup, complemented by a diverse cheese selection. The array of wine options enhances the overall experience, making it a must-visit destination.

Loved the food. Both octopus salad and fish were delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was good and everything quite authentic. It's a bit difficult to get a reservation, so one definitely has to call in a few days ahead, especially for bigger groups. The restaurant isn't cheap compared to other restaurants in the city, but it was worth it. We had a really nice time and will come back for sure.

Yelp
Definitely recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal and friendly service. We took our six children ages 10 to 24 years and everyone finished their meals with satisfaction. Our waiter had great recommendations for all.

Yelp
We found this lovely restaurant tonite while walking in Innsbruck. It was excellent. Wonderful food and atmosphere. The fish was so very fresh. The service was perfect. We even had a chance to chat with the owner who was delightful. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Make a reservation as they are busy.

Yelp
We walked by the huge windows of Il Convento one afternoon and couldn't help but notice what a wonderful warm vibe it had, so we made a point of returning for a meal the next day. We came in without a reservation for lunch but were lucky enough to snag a nice central table. We chose to eat in the hopping bar area instead of in the more formal area upstairs. The service was excellent and the owner clearly knew most if not all of the patrons. It felt like one of those "home away from home" type places, even though the beautiful decor and interior design were very modern. The food and wine were both excellent. We enjoyed the people watching both inside the bar as well as through the large glass windows out into the courtyard/street. One of our favorite dining experiences on our trip.

Yelp
Stopped in for drinks before dinner. We didn't eat, but we want to return for dinner with a reservation! A charming space- kind of a bar area downstairs, and a dining room upstairs. The wine list is wonderful - small (by the glass at least) but very good. The staff were very friendly and recommended some good wines to my husband. Can't wait to come back for the food!
