1. Friendly and accommodating service 2. Grilled octopus leg with potato and veal cheek with polenta were cooked to perfection. Delicate texture and flavour but not overcooked. Very authentic and well executed. 3.Tiramisu has rich egg and coffee flavour and melt in your mouth.

Great food. Great Service. Friendly staff. Good Prices. It is a hard combination to beat. The best part was the waiter gave us no static about sending back a pretty expensive bottle of wine. I am pretty sure that he knew it was coming back when he opened it. He gave me the cork, and it smelled pretty bad. He took a sniff after me, but we tried it anyway! Our meals and dessert were superb. I loved the black risotto. I think I will have that again if we ever visit Innsbruck again.

The food was decent but severely overpriced. I ordered the Fritto Misto (€24), and my boyfriend had the Tagliatelle with Truffle (€26). My dish came with a very basic side salad, completely undressed. While oil and balsamic vinegar were on the table, at this price point, I would expect the salad to be properly seasoned in the kitchen. We were seated on the top level, where the tables were uncomfortably close together. We could clearly hear the staff discussing what each table needed, which really disrupted the atmosphere. Perhaps some ambient background music and quieter staff communication would help. The service was underwhelming. The waitress never checked if we enjoyed our meals or needed more drinks, and for the most part, we were ignored. When we got up to leave, no one offered to retrieve our coats until we asked. Since the walk-in wardrobe was completely disorganized, they couldn’t find our coats, and we had to search for them ourselves. Normally, I wouldn’t mind seasoning my own salad, minimal service, or grabbing my coat, but when you're paying nearly €80 for two dishes and two glasses of wine, good customer service should be a given. Overall, a pretty disappointing experience, and we definitely won’t be returning.

It has a fancy flair and fancy prices, but don't expect a lot for your money. First its not really non-alcoholic friendly, as they don't even have a menu for non-alcoholic drinks. And if you ask you can get the usual (Orange juice and coke) which is a bit disappointing, not even a non-alcoholic cocktail. Then the food, we ordered the grilled wolfsbarsch and the vongole. The fish was almost 40 €, so we expected a good fish. But before they serve it they fillet it and then you just get the meat with no taste or spices, the vegetabels were not fresh and it wasn't really creative it was boring. So I wonder why 40€. The rest was ok but nothing really special.

Innsbruck’s Excellent Dine caters to vegetarians with specially crafted Penne Arrabbiata and Minestrone soup, complemented by a diverse cheese selection. The array of wine options enhances the overall experience, making it a must-visit destination.

Loved the food. Both octopus salad and fish were delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was good and everything quite authentic. It's a bit difficult to get a reservation, so one definitely has to call in a few days ahead, especially for bigger groups. The restaurant isn't cheap compared to other restaurants in the city, but it was worth it. We had a really nice time and will come back for sure.

Amazing variety of Mediterranean dishes. Authentic mixuture and great experimentation with the sea food, pasta and other exotic ingredients. A classy and posh place for special events and soirees. A great meal worth the bit expensive amounts to pay.

Rude waiter. Besides of not taking care of our table (pouring Prosecco and cleaning the dishes). Our complains about steak was completely ignored!!!!steak has been sent back to the kitchen 3 times (we ordered medium rare, first time it came well done and second time it was completely rare and quality of the meat was poor) couldn’t eat it. Fish carpaccio was very tasteless, no flavour at all ! What is more this night in the restaurant they run out with truffle Mille feuille was so bad! The pastry was like from supermarket!!! All in all waiter couldn’t get our opinion about the food what was more disappointing, he was very rude in saying that we were critics by looking at the pictures on the internet and was not willing to listen to our comments about the food ! I’m a world traveler, never had this rudeness in my life! So disappointed in this place,as I came here only because of good food and nice reviews

Yelp
Definitely recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal and friendly service. We took our six children ages 10 to 24 years and everyone finished their meals with satisfaction. Our waiter had great recommendations for all.

Yelp
We found this lovely restaurant tonite while walking in Innsbruck. It was excellent. Wonderful food and atmosphere. The fish was so very fresh. The service was perfect. We even had a chance to chat with the owner who was delightful. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Make a reservation as they are busy.

Yelp
We walked by the huge windows of Il Convento one afternoon and couldn't help but notice what a wonderful warm vibe it had, so we made a point of returning for a meal the next day. We came in without a reservation for lunch but were lucky enough to snag a nice central table. We chose to eat in the hopping bar area instead of in the more formal area upstairs. The service was excellent and the owner clearly knew most if not all of the patrons. It felt like one of those "home away from home" type places, even though the beautiful decor and interior design were very modern. The food and wine were both excellent. We enjoyed the people watching both inside the bar as well as through the large glass windows out into the courtyard/street. One of our favorite dining experiences on our trip.

Yelp
Stopped in for drinks before dinner. We didn't eat, but we want to return for dinner with a reservation! A charming space- kind of a bar area downstairs, and a dining room upstairs. The wine list is wonderful - small (by the glass at least) but very good. The staff were very friendly and recommended some good wines to my husband. Can't wait to come back for the food!
