The best culinary highlight of our Puglia trip, II Cortiletto delivered exceptional food—the tartare was phenomenal! The atmosphere and service were also amazing. Highly recommended, and we will return every time we are in Puglia!

Without a doubt, this is one of the best restaurants in this area. Paulo, the chef and owner, along with his lovely wife make you feel so welcome. From the appetizers to the 1st and 2nd course where truly outstanding. All food is with traditional Apulian basics with added flare. We could not believe how reasonable the prices were. When traveling in this area again, I will make a special effort to have dinner at il Cortiletto.

We live in Lucera part of the year, the USA part of the year. This restaurant is the best fine dining experience in the area. Its a very unique experience cooked by a real chef. He comes to your table and takes your order himself and explains the menu to you. Its also in a very historic building with outside courtyard when the weather is nice. A must go.
