We loved our stay at Il Duca degli Abruzzi! Beautiful rooms in a lovely environment. Breakfast and aperitivo were both memorable standouts!! Assunta and family are all so welcoming and warm (and her mother is a FABULOUS cook!)

Il Duca degli Abruzzi in Pescasseroli is an absolute gem! The homemade pastries at breakfast are incredible—flaky, fresh, and made with so much care. The hosts are wonderfully kind and welcoming, making you feel instantly at home. Downstairs, the enoteca offers a fantastic aperitivo with high-end finger foods, perfectly paired with a thoughtful selection of wines and a relaxing jazz playlist. The same talented chef prepares both the breakfast and aperitivo, which shows in the consistent quality. Plus, the hotel’s central location makes it so easy to explore the charming town on foot. A truly memorable experience—I can’t recommend it enough!

An excellent stay! Very friendly and hospitable owners, impeccably clean room, comfortable bed, amazing breakfast! Located just a few blocks from the main town square with parking right up front. Highly recommend!

What a lovely place! Rooms are so nice with comfortable beds and newly renovated bathrooms. Breakfast was over the top and dinner was exceptional. The plates are creative and use all local ingredients. The owners and staff are so kind and thoughtful.

Wonderful hotel and restaurant in the center of Pescasseroli. We booked at the last minute when the weather was too miserable for camping, and it was a delightful surprise to be treated to a highly comfortable room, a fabulous tasting menu for dinner with local wine, and a delicious breakfast the next morning. Hats off to the staff and chef! Not the cheapest but very much worth it.

We had a month long tour of Le Marche and Abruzzo and thought this little family hotel was one of the standouts. Set on a quaint quiet little square and with only six or so rooms, it was well located yet peaceful. The hotel rooms are reasonable for the price, but the main reason to come here is the outstanding food in the little cosy restaurant, cooked by mum! We had two outstanding six course meals of local fresh food perfectly cooked and served with flair.

Abbiamo trascorso giorni indimenticabili in questo piccolo ma splendido hotel al centro di Pescasseroli , accolti con affetto da Gabriella ed Assunta, ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio in un clima familiare ma sempre professionale. Camera pulitissima ogni giorno, colazione abbondante con ottimi dolci, freschi e genuini, presentati in modo raffinato ed elegante. Da provare l'Enoteca con aperitivo serale! Complimenti!
