"A renowned restaurant in Genoa where Fabio, the winner of the Genoa Pesto World Championship, demonstrates the art of making traditional pesto using a mortar and pestle."
"This chic and modern establishment with a minimalist decor is situated within the fortifications and is a good place to relax. The lovely rooms are laid out around the courtyard and face either the citadel or the port." - Tablet Hotels
I tried two dishes: the potato ghanache with pesto (which Genoa is famous for) and the meatballs.
I thought the pesto wasn't as good as another place I had tried the day before. The meatballs were tasty but could be cooked a bit more I thought.

The food is really good and the pesto testaroli were amazing (the pesto itself tastes great). The staff is really nice and helpful and the piazza where we dined had a really good vibe. Felt like a local and had a really good time

Overrated and overpriced for what you get:
*Zucchini flowers tasted greasy.
*Pesto pasta was decent.
*Tiramisu probably the worst Ive had in the world.

Their menu was helpful and very descriptive. All the dishes sounded great! Too bad we were in Genoa only 1 night! Loved the ravioli with tucco. The cima (veal terrine) was delicious and I recommend it.

Dishes were all excellent! We enjoyed the trofie with pesto most! Meatballs were delicious also. Was definitely worth the walk there to enjoy the lovely meal. We will definitely return when we return to Genoa

Pesto at its best, so good that we came back to take away pesto trofie for dinner. Pesto trofie is the best of them all !

The food was delicious and the service was impressively fast. However, the noise level was quite high which made it a bit hard to fully relax and enjoy.

They have also gluten free options: minestrone and pasta with pesto.
It was good.
