Food was good, but not spectacular. The plating was elegant and sophisticated. The highlight of the meal was the Pistachio Pastry dessert. That was phenomenal. The best part was definitely the service. Daniele was an excellent server and was very knowledgeable about the food. The ambience and view alone make this place a must-visit on any trip to Rome.

Il Giardino Ristorante at Hotel Eden is easily one of the most romantic and intimate dining experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt elevated yet effortlessly welcoming—like stepping into a quiet, golden corner of Rome where time slows down and the wine never stops flowing. The ambiance is pure magic. We especially loved sitting in the bar area, sipping cocktails and listening to the live music drifting through the space—soft, sophisticated, and the perfect soundtrack to an unforgettable night. Now let’s talk food. I’ve eaten a lot of pasta in my life (maybe more than I should admit), but the dishes here were on a whole different level. I’m still dreaming about them. We came back multiple times during our stay because I simply could not stop thinking about the flavor, the texture, the everything. It was pasta perfection. (And no judgment from the staff when we showed up again… and again.) Speaking of the staff: service was flawless. Warm, intuitive, never rushed. Every detail—from the wine pairings to the quiet check-ins—made us feel like the only people in the room. Final thoughts: Il Giardino isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a love letter to Roman dining. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just want to be completely transported for a night, this is where you go. And then go again.

I went with a friend and the food was honestly the best part, like really the pasta with seafood I had tasted fresh, sauce light but still full of taste, not heavy at all. My friend got a pizza, thin crust, little bit of char that makes it extra, I liked that. The place felt cozy, soft lights, people talking but not too loud, it gave a calm mood somehow. Service was fine too, waiter explained some dishes and even told me about a local wine, I tried it and actually matched good with the pasta, that made the evening nicer. Prices not the cheapest, but for the quality and because it is close to center, felt ok. We left full, happy, I keep thinking maybe next time I try other plates, I saw some passing and they looked really good. The waiter had a kind of blue shirt, looked a bit rushed, like running from one table to another, but still he stopped to talk about the menu. I forgot to ask about desserts, saw one on other table, looked sweet and big, maybe too big. Anyway the atmosphere was warm, I think even too warm sometimes, or maybe was just me, not sure. I repeat again, the pasta was fresh, I say it twice because I liked it so much.

We were waited by Francesco, kind and very attentive sir that hosted us and served us during the entire afternoon. We wanted a few drinks and ended up eating delicious dishes. Everything is made from scratch by the chef, even the bread which is served warm! The place has a breathtaking view of the parks nearby and the city. Highly recommend it! Keep in mind is a restaurant of a 5-star hotel, so expect quality and prices as such. Thank you Francesco!!

Wonderful rooftop restaurant in the Hotel Eden. Michelin quality with wonderful food and great service. We sat outside on a cool but beautiful night. Flowers of zucchini was the starter and it was outstanding. Stuffed with ricotta and a sauce to die for. Stuffed ravioli was next with a wonderful sauce. Main was Guinea with tomatoes and sauce - also outstanding. Finished with pistachios dessert. A wonderful event!!

Lovely views of the whole of Rome. Food local specialties and unique. Extensive wine lists. Sophisticated. Waiters kind, funny, speak good English also. Thank for memorable birthday dinner

We had a great dinner and wonderful service. Daniel recommended perfect wine pairings for our meal and dessert. The singer was tea good but it was so loud that it was difficult to hold a conversation.

All i have to say is wow. This place definitely did not disappoint. The views alone were stunning even though we weren't even at the edge of the building. The staff was phenomenal and kept checking back in on us which is why I probably had too much to drink . We wanted to try almost everything on the menu but decided to start with a meat and cheese board. The meats were great and the different cheeses tasted very different but went well with the meats. I ordered the courgettes for a starter. It was a beautiful plate and they tasted very good. The cheese filling was divine . I then got the ravioli and it was so fresh tasting . To end the meal we decided to splurge and got the sorbet. If you go you have to get it because it is the most fresh delicious tasting thing you've ever eaten ( 18 euros) All in all you should go here if you want a fantastic meal and experience

We came here for a sunset happy hour and it did not disappoint! They have an incredible view of Rome with huge windows and everywhere you look is a different beautiful landmark, The drinks are pricey but nothing outrageous. The service was exquisite and they brought chips, olives and small bites for us to share. It was a wonderful experience and I'd love to come back for dinner the next time we are in Rome.

Food and service was amazing. The spaghetti alla cabonara was out of this world. Don't miss this restaurant.

You can view the backside if the Church atoo the Spanish steps. The restaurant is licated on the 6th floor if the Eden Hotwl. Ww had the dishes in the photos all werw excellent but the service was othee wordly. Alexsander went above beyond. There was a couple dining near us that was celebrating their honeymoon. My wife wanted to order what they had for dessert but Alexsander explained it was prepared in advance for them. We happily ordered the chocolate ice cream dessert which was devine. When I asked for the bill Alexsander asked if we were in a rush and weren't. He stated he would ask his chef to prepare a special dessert. My wife told him our anniversary was tomorrow and stated it was just 27 years. Which he had inscribed on our dessert. Thank you for a memorable lunch

I can only speak for the bar, not restaurant. But this is a must for happy hour/sunset (we had reservations for weeks). Staff is super. Drinks are spectacular along with nice complimentary bites (although you're paying for it with price of drinks). But the highlight is the view. One of the best in Rome. Please leave your baseball caps at home--the staff is dressed formally. You don't have to, but have some class, patrons.

What a great place! The service, the food, the decor! We were so happy! And the pasta!!! So beautiful. We ate so much but didn't feel miserable. It's that homemade food! Love the selection as well! Do t miss this place'

This place completely ruined my husband's birthday and our first honeymoon dinner. I made reservations well in advance considering it was my husband's birthday & our first honeymoon dinner in Italy. Even with reservations & considering the restaurant was 90% empty the host had the audacity of sitting us in a corner next to the kitchen and against a wall that was far away from the scenic views. When asked to move they said all tables were reserved but we could sit in one that was near the view but would have to leave in one hour. (Mind you that table was available for 2.5 hours & there were at least 8 other tables available). So I asked to sit outside even though it was cold, they allowed us to sit at a table near the view, mind you they were bothered that I asked. Our server was kind, the one positive part of the dinner. Food was mediocre or maybe the experience made it more than unpleasant. Overpriced & overrated ("$200" for 1 appetizer, 2 pasta plates, 2 drinks) that was double the price I paid for a Mitchell Star meal in Italy with more food & drinks). If you plan to go to this restaurant, I recommend to pass on the restaurant and just go straight to the bar during sunset.

We tried to dine here with a view of the city. You must call 2 weeks out for reservations. Maybe next time!

The restaurant at The Eden is fabulous! Great views, ambiance, delicious food! Risotto with white asparagus and Buffalo mozzarella- superb! Pizza with aubergine, stracciatella and pesto was amazing - the crust was perfect. The simple salad of spinach, avocado and tofu was delicious. 5 stars!

A stunning view of Rome. The hotel is beautiful with the restaurant in n the 6 th floor. This is not a casual dress restaurant the food and service is impeccable. Be prepared to spend some money here but it's well worth it.

Food was delicious and the service exemplary. By far our best dining experience in Rome during our most recent visit. Do yourself a favor and go to Il Giardino Ristorante - you will not Be disappointed.

This lovely restaurant on the top floor of the Eden was a wonderful discovery. The views from our table were breathtaking and our waiter was so gracious and knowledgeable-truly a wonderful experience. I was especially appreciative of how knowledgeable our waiter was with all the vegan options and he assisted me in selecting a delicious dinner that started with a colorful mixed salad with cute little individual bottles of balsamic vinegar and olive oil, followed by a rich and creamy vegetable risotto - I savored every bite, and finished with a delicious and decadent vegan chocolate cake served with perfectly ripe fresh berries, vegan vanilla and coconut gelato-WOW!! This restaurant is on the pricey side but it is worth it for the extraordinary views, the delicious vegan options, the outstanding service-this was a special experience in Rome I will cherish for years to come

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Food and cocktails were fantastic. Everyone who works here is incredibly attentive and friendly (they even will bring a photographer light over if you ask them to take a picture). A great find, and I think the picture does not do the view justice. Absolutely incredible!! The atmosphere is spectacular, and I don't think you could find a better sunset!

Amazing food and service, beautiful little restaurant. My husband had the meatballs and I had the sea-bass. It was THE BEST sea bass I have ever eaten and I order sea bass regularly. The meatballs were fabulous. My husband says their sauce and pasta is epic! The service was wonderful, our waiter recommended we split the arugula salad and a lovely wine that was perfecto with my sea bass.

Great spot in Rome for a nice bird's eye view of the city while dining in style. We had a buffet brunch with the best orange juice we've tasted. They also make artsy cappuccinos. The food and service were perfect. Classy hotel.

A colleague of my spouse's recommended we come here for the sunset, which we did although we missed the sunset. We were seated at the bar which was fine because we were under dressed based on everyone else here. Didn't seem to matter to the staff. We had a Bacchus Manhatten and golden daiquiri. Delicious. Got sandwiches, too. What a treat to get a tiered lazy susan type of serving dish with chips, nuts, and olives. Nice touch for a classy and romantic venue.

I am soooo amazed by this restaurant. I yelped and saw the good reviews and went there at 4pm without reservation. I got in! There weren't many people there and I can choose either the drinks area which is cooler or the balcony which is quite hot at the time. Both have great views. I choose the former. They have an all day menu with a lot to choose from. Service is great too. The waiter recommended me the spaghetti with yellow sauce. Very cheesy and delicious! Lamb chop is good. Tuna tartare amazing. Only problem is that the dishes are all served at the same time. So I ate the appetizer with the pasta and the meat. I don't know how they managed to make food so fast. LOL. Probably a good thing instead of a "problem". You don't have to wait for long.

Amazing restaurant. A must try for Rome, family run 5 generations. Big dinning room, air conditioned. Friendly staff and owner. Excellent wine recommendations from our server. Loved all that we ordered. Big list of fresh seafood special dishes each day. Would recommend to anyone!

This is one of the nicest rooftop dining experiences in Rome. Top shelf. We celebrated an anniversary here and loved it.

This is a fantastic place to get an afternoon or before dinner aperitif. The views of the city are exceptional. The drink selection is sophisticated and varied. The snacks that the offer are superb. A must try on a visit to Rome.
