Il Mercato Gentiloni

I was in Saltillo for a business trip and this restaurant was close to my hotel. Beautiful environment and cute design. My steak was ok not that perfect. Our waiter was nice young good looking guy however not professional enough. In general, I enjoyed my time there.

This is the “flip-side” of “Il Giardino” which I reviewed just two days ago… same floor, different door… same great atmosphere, quality, and service. Richie, the same server that made sure I had a good time before recognized me and assured that I would not leave hungry. Pasta Domenico - Mezda de champiñones, ajo, tocino, jamón, chile de árbol y vino blanco en salsa cremosa. Receta del Nonno. … with the option to add salmon, chicken, and/or shrimp. I went with salmon and shrimp. An EXCELLENT choice. Thank you, Richie. The fresh-baked bread was very good too. Often, when enjoying something with multiple flavors or proteins, I choose what to end with… that last bite… Pasta Domenico is such a blend that it did not matter. ¡Una gran comida para celebrar el final de un día largo pero productivo! ¡Gracias!

Great place food was amazing

Great place and great food. Sadly the waiter took forever to come and serve us. Other than that it was great.

I love this mini Italian place. It is a building with different options to visit. We have a coffee and bakery shops. The place is pretty and cozy. At the backyard of the building there is a market with different local options to buy (clothes, body creams, etc).

This review is for La Cantina Bar at this center. Great ambiance, live music and drinks, lechón tacos and caldo de camarón are very good.

Great ambient with live Mexican music playing live. Be sure to ask for grilled jalapeño chili to go with any food you ordered. Good luck!

Delicious food, amazing presentation. Only words of praise. We had an amazing evening there with colleagus and friends. Towards the end of the evening, a band showed up and we also had live music in addition to the fabulous food and overall ambiance.

The Mercado is a "food court" of sit-down restaurants next to the Courtyard by Marriott in Saltillo, Mexico. We stay at that hotel when my co-workers and I travel to Saltillo on business. There are several restaurants to choose from, and they all share a common online menu. I usually go for the Italian food - ironic, since we're in Mexico. None of the restaurants in this building are 5-star offerings, but the food is decent, and seating is plentiful.
