What a classy, upscale place for a really reasonable price! Our room was on the third floor, facing south towards the nearby tennis court and a semi-tropical park-like setting of trees. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean, a very comfortable size, and thoughtfully laid out. As the hotel is small, its very efficient, with a quick elevator and very short hallways.|It's important to select the more upscale rooms if you're after this level of quality; the hotel also offers very basic motel-level rooms in an adjacent building for low prices for people who's main interest is cost. It's very likely even these accommodations are very clean as well, though I didn't see them.|The location of the hotel on Kangraoo point is fantastic: it's a tree-lined walking neighborhood with paths all along the riverside, and just a ferry ride over to downtown Brisbane.|Chris, the manager, is from the old school of service, with knowledge about airline facts, best routes to tell the taxi or Uber, and happy to call the taxi that came on the dot as requested.|He even accommodated very early check-in for our 7:45AM arrival from LAX! Can't count on that, but our room was available.|Suggested lunch or dinner: Fire (1 min walk) was very good; Mobo sushi, popular but not so great.

Excellent hotel has all the services you would need to stay comfortably for weeks. Walking distance from St Vincent's Hospital and a short drive by Taxi if needed due to luggage or weather. A beautiful walk across the new walkway kangaroo point bridge and so many stunning river walkways too. All accessible for wheelchairs at different points. Close for fishing or water taxi too. Quite a few services around the hotel. Hotel provides a continental breakfast extra cost. Very clean inside and everything smells amazing as you walk through the front door. Security is excellent too inside.

I stayed for one night for work and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I was greeted by a friendly, professional gentleman who showed me to my room. The room was immaculately clean with nice touches like tea, coffee and biscuits. I had dinner in the Japanese restaurant next door, Modo, delicious food and lovely environment. Parking onsite was convenient and free. The hotel is excellent value for money.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The double room was very spacious, excellent storage and great balcony area. This hotel is located approx 10 mins walk from city centre. Great welcoming upon arrival and departure. Chris was super friendly and attentive when needed. Would recommend staying here.

We chose this hotel assuming the Story Bridge would be laying on a fireworks display for new year…. But soon found out that was NOT the case! |Hey ho, we walked down to Kangaroo point for the kids display at 7.45pm before joining the throng of people on the South Bank for the main event at midnight. Walkable… but a good 40 mins door to door. |As for the hotel, it served the purpose we were looking for and was very clean and well presented with friendly chatty reception staff in Chris and Victoria. |Nice little touches in the room and reasonably priced considering the time of year. |Nearby outlets for coffee/breakfast and supplies for the room if need be. |Being a boutique hotel it felt that little bit more personable than a really large hotel. |Thank you for chilled out stay we had.

Great location. Right across from the Story Bridge Hotel and an easy walk to the free crossriver ferry to get to the city. Big balcony to sit on with a wine and watch the world go by. One of THE most comfortable bed and pillows ever (and I've travelled a lot). Thank you for having complimentary cold water in the fridge. I also very much appreciated the free parking. I'll definitely be back!

Great location, comfortable room and very helpful service from reception. The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the City Hopper river bus and the hotel car park is free of charge, so we parked the car when we arrived and got around the city on the boat and on foot. No complaints at all (apart from the torrential rain which did not stop the whole time we were in central Brisbane... but that can hardly be blamed on the hotel ) ;-))

This hotel was lovely and in a great location. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and we loved the balcony in the morning. Would love to stay again if we are ever in the area!
