Together with my girlfriend I spent here 1 week. Extremely clean accommodation with very friendly hosts. We had a great room with garden and sea view. Good retreat from a yet tourist Cinque Terre. We can only recommend the accommodation and are very grateful for our stay here.

Nice view, cozy and very clean room/bathroom and premises. Owner ist friendly and courteous (but talks a lot). You realize she really cares about her property and wants it to be used safely and well! The whole place is really beautiful and well made. The access to the building is a little steep and onerous, but we guess thats normal in the cliff area of Cinque terre! Owner helped us with the luggage tho, which was very helpful! Had a nice stay here!

When first arriving, you will get a detailed run down of the area. Everything from how to take the bus, to how to use the shutters, the A/C unit, the nearby hiking trails, taxis service... it can be a bit daunting, but the host is easy to get in touch with, if you forget. The grounds are beautifully kept, and there is a lighting system if you get back after dark. It is a climb, but everything in Cinque Terre is a climb! The room itself was quite nice. Incredibly clean, with not a single spot of dust or mold in site. The A/C worked quite well, even though we were on the top floor. There was a fridge, sink, and utensils as well as hanging storage for clothes. The patio had lounge chairs and a table with upright chairs. The host Melissa also put up and took down a large shade umbrella for us each night. While getting to and from Riomaggiore wasn't as simple as walking down a few steps, the scenery was breathtaking, and quiet. If you meet people along the way who stay at other nearby hotels, you can split a €20 cab with them. Melissa also gave a comprehensive run down of the bus schedule, though they can at times be full. I would stay here again. The internet could be a little spotty, but not unbearably so.

We stayed in the rural cabin and it was the most charming place ever! So beautiful and peaceful, and our host Augusta was lovely! She obviously took great pride and joy in the place and explained everything to us with great care and attention. Accommodations were great, comfortable, and clean. The garden was simply lovely! We got a bottle of delicious white wine from the little restaurant (not the bigger restaurant further down but the one directly above) - the owner of the restaurant made it and we enjoyed it overlooking the beautiful sunset. P.s. The food at that little restaurant was also the best we've had in Italy! Highly recommend (both)!

First, the place is super clean (rooms and property) and is well taken care of. The owners are hard working people. Proximity to everything the area has to offer is the best! ||||Few observations:||||Location - plus: within the Cinque Terre park with beautiful views of the sea, public bus is right on the road, there are few restaurants/bars within walking distance (walk on the road)||cons: cottages are located above the road and traffic sounds are amplified unless windows are closed. Sitting in the beautiful gardens or on a terrace and enjoying the views will not be absolutely quiet due to the motorway.||||Rooms - plus: everything! Super clean, modern bathrooms, extra storage space, refrigerator, small kitchen with all essentials (including coffee, tea), AC, wi-fi||cons: nothing major, you can hear neighbors clearly, so everyone is trying to whisper while staying there. This is not for "party" or "late night" guests.||||Hospitality - plus: easy to communicate with, they pick you up at the parking spot, super detailed explanations regarding hotel and the attractions, very helpful!||cons: nothing wrong with this but this is also the owners home, there is no formal reception, can't just call someone but would have to walk in on the owners in the middle of their dinner if something is needed or urgent. We had our expectations too high and waited for some "limoncello reception" as described here by someone - we did not get it, nor did we have a chance to try their honey...||||Price - extremely compatible! You get more for your money.||||Travel around - we had a car and everything was very close by.||||Highly recommended!

I stayed 3 nights and was very sad to leave. This is a few kilometres away from Riomaggiore and good for hiking. The self catering studios are down a step him so you do need to be steady on your feet. Parking is at a nearby location and the owners are extremely helpful and informative.|The restoration is one of the best I've ever seen of an old building, everything is carefully looked after and the best of everything. There is even a capsule coffee machine which is a nice touch. There is a private garden behind which overlooks the sea. Every detail is lovingly thought about. I have stayed in "5 star" self catering previously but really this was better and fairly priced. I would definitely come back again if in the area.

What a wonderful stay!! Cannot fault anything. As you drive from La Spezia, the gated entrance to Il Nettare is located straight after the first tunnel on the right. Immaculate bedroom suite with kitchenette, bathroom and private balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Coast. Wonderful attention to detail. Our host Alessandra was so sweet and helpful. Beautiful landscaped gardens with lemon trees, grapevines and even a bee keeping business. Delicious breakfast on your own private balcony listening to the bird and the bees. Well worth the visit and a perfect location for anyone visiting the Cinque Terre area. |

We stayed in the cottage with two apartments set apart and from the main property in small community of cliffside cottages. It was a 100 meter climb down uneven, rocky stairs and pathway down to the cottage. Fortunately, the very attentive proprietress and her father helped us with luggage using a little tram for hauling things up and down from the road. The highlight of the stay was the hike down from the cottage to the water. It took an hour and a half each way and was actually dangerous in spots (more of a climb than a hike), but it was well worth it! The cottage was a wonderfully renovated house with lovely woodwork and a cozy loft. The bathroom was modern and charming. There was everything you needed in the kitchen to make coffee or tea. I’d love to go back and stay longer!
