Google
Very neat restaurant and we are not big eaters, so we ordered an appetizer, a pasta and a secondi to share. They separated the dish into two for us. Very accommodating. Foods are good.

Hands down my favourite restaurant in Montreal. The ambiance, the service and the amazing quality of food is really hard to beat. Every bite is better than the one before and everything on the menu is to die for. The owner, Manuel, is an amazing host, always kind and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend Il Pagliaccio for your next date night!

Google
Visited this little Italian gem for the very first time. The owner Manuel is a charming host and suggested a sampling of the various appetizers for the four of us to try. The menu is not large but It was all just great. Tomatoes and burrata, octopus, artichokes, pasta and the main meals branzino and veal piccata. Dessert a lemon tart and lava cake. This ended up being a wonderfully surprising evening and a new gem to return to.

Great service and friendly staff. The scallops were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The ragu was good but I wish there was a bit more flavour? The vongole was cooked well but had too much olive oil added as a finish where it overpowered everything. Desserts were lovely. Staff was lovely.

Very nice Italian. Food is simple and sophisticated. Date and I split each course at the recommendation of our waiter. Great idea. Had two antipasti, pasta, piccata and dessert. Left very full.

Google
Great service. Really nice atmosphere and pretty good food. Nice slow paced way to end a trip. Portions are a bit small food wasn't perfect but overall a good meal and experience. Green beans and I'm assuming shallots were a bit burnt. Veal tenderloin was not overcooked and extremely tender. Pasta with duck ragu was tasty but had an aftertaste of canned soup. Again, everything was good but expected more for the price hence 4 stars.

Yelp
No Clowning around. Il Pagliaccio is a cozy fine dining restaurant with chic/modern decor. Jacky juggled his 5 course meal of beet salad, eggplant parm, gnocchi & a tender cut of contre fillet de veau accompanied with an array of premium wines. Head pagliaccio, Manny, is serving fresh of the day. No frozen foods on your dish unless you get the semi-fredo for dessert. Price is no laughing matter but expected for the great/classy service & quality of food. Parking is a joke but you'll have the last laugh once you're done with this joint. Follow @JackyEatsMTL

Yelp
A table facing the window watching the sun beaming in the Outremont neighbourhood was the therapy for the day. This is small cozy Italian restaurant with staff that is attentive. The menu is limited but yet covers all areas of meat, pasta and fish for your delight. Crusty Bread and bread sticks are served immediately before ordering. Sweet potato and carrot soup for appetizer. Light and tasty. My main course was filet of veal with a green peppercorn sauce served with an array of veggies. Cooked to perfection. To end the lunch I had my signature cappuccino with panne cotta (mediocre). My experience as a whole was wonderful, good food with a romantic twist.

Yelp
Came here for a small business dinner at the recommendation of a colleague. Was reluctant initially but am glad I came. Food was wonderful. The highlight: a homemade tagliatelle w white truffle and egg yolk (this was a special). Fabulous!!! Also had their fish of the day which was well executed and simple. Not too heavy and sauced up. Finished the meal off w a panna cotta. Probably the low point of the meal: just ok, nothing special. Overall: may skip dessert in the future but will most definitely be back. (Remark: I give 4 stars for now since the dessert wasn't perfect and I wonder if the incredible white truffle starter is an outlier that isn't always available. If my latter worry is assuaged in a future visit, I'll probably revise to 5 stars.)

Yelp
Absolutely delicious Italian food with a warm and welcoming staff who even brought a kid-friendly amuse bouche for the littlest diners at our table. House made breadsticks and bread keep the kids happy while you enjoy the more sophisticated fare.

Yelp
You bet, as good as it gets! Came here to meet descendants of the Shah who are working on, well, let's not talk about that! Anyway, the pasta with truffles was stunning and the venison was, well, to kill for.... But that's not all. A fine wine form Alto Adagio, some fine after dinner drinks, and it was a splendid performance on all accounts.

Yelp
Really good italian food. Verry good service. Good wine. We had many appetizers like eggplant with parmesan, lobster, fried crab and many more. Fish and foie de veau are delicious and the scalops as well.

Yelp
We ordered 2 pasta dishes. My partner saw nothing she wanted so they created a special dish for her. Both dishes were excellent and the service was warm and friendly.
