Il Pirata Ristorante, Lounge Bar, Beach Club - Praiano

It's a really nice place to eat. The service was good and the food was great, I recommenda the tuna tataki. It's like the placed is carved in the stone from the cliffs on Praiano, it's almost magical. The view is great and we even saw that there were some spots where you could eat/drink while taking son, we missed that but if we had found out earliear on our stay would totally tried that.

Really enjoyed the time spent here, coming back a handful of times. The beach club atmosphere is quaint & allowed us to recharge. Small plate options available during this time, but not too much. Our dinner experience was great, loved the risotto & different Spritz options. After dinner we spent time in the cave bar & enjoyed live music, although we did notice the drink prices nearly doubled after dinner finished up.

We visited this restaurant on the last night of our 2 week trip. This restaurant sits right at the sea and obviously is a walk down. I loved the vibe of this restaurant, it is very romantic The service is excellent, I don't remember who served is but she was very attentive. All the food we had was delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. We left stuffed!

Il Parata was cool. The atmosphere is incredible and lively, and the location is unmatched, just against the sea. However the food is OK, although it looks great, it's not amazingly tasty, and not cheap, and the service was also just OK, as we struggled to get them to attend to us. If we come back, it will be after dinner for the vibe, not for dinner.

Delicious food and beautiful views! Would’ve rated it 5 stars but honestly felt a little judged by staff for only ordering salad/apps and beer. It was very hot and we didn’t want anything served warm. Also was a bit disappointed we couldn’t sit in the cave but can’t really complain when the view is this beautiful!

Category: Seaside bar and restaurant. For our second day drinking spot of the day we chose il Pirata 🏴‍☠️ even though we forgot to bring our eye patches and parrot 🦜. This sprawling multi-level beach-side spot is a perfect place to watch the swimmers, sunbathers, and boaters. Don’t miss the cool, 6-seat, lit-from-below onyx bar, which is nestled in a grotto (aka cave), along with a few tables. Outdoors, the ristorante offers high-tops, regular tables, and lounge chairs on the diving deck. There’s plenty of shade if you want it, and rays if you don’t. We sat in the area with the bamboo and blowing palm grass shading, and ceramic-topped tables, each featuring a different sea creature. We only ordered drinks, which we enjoyed along with an excellent order of fried calamari, which was VERY lightly breaded, as all calamari should be, and served with mayonnaise, which pairs much better than the cocktail sauce typical in the U.S. The drinks were well made and refreshing. Amazing views, excellent service and amazing food! We got the seafood pasta and the catch of the day (sea bass) The pasta was so delicious and fresh and so was the fish! Our server was kind and everything was very prompt.

We hosted our wedding reception here while eloping abroad, and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel so special from the moment we arrived. Giorgia was super responsive via email and while we were there. The food was outstanding—every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Our guests are still talking about it! The atmosphere was warm, authentic, and exactly what we were hoping for. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate such an important day. They brought out sparklers during our cake celebration. We had a cake table in a private area. The DJ was great, we were able to request so many songs. The cave bar was so fun. We did not anticipate staying after the reception. But we danced all night! Highly recommend!
