I was in Verona last November with my friends, and after roaming around the city, we decided to have lunch at Hosteria Punto Rosa. The restaurant is nicely decorated, definitely my vibe. The food, in my opinion, was great, and the prices were reasonable as well. Even the style of ordering wasn’t a problem for us. However, the attitude of one of the waitresses was unacceptable, and the waiting time for the main dishes was far too long. After finishing our starters, we waited almost an hour for our main course. Meanwhile, some other guests had already finished their meals while we were still waiting for ours. Thank goodness the food tasted good despite the rude attitude and long waiting time. Because of that, I would still give this place a 3-star review.

This is a really lovely place for tourists to have a Christmas experience in Verona, which is amazing excellent, fulfilling with Christmas decorates. The fish tasted good, salty and fresh. The stuff in here are very friendly, they helped us a lot.

I visited this restaurant with high hopes, and while the kitchen certainly knows what it’s doing, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. I’ll start with the positive: the food was very nice. Everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared. If you are strictly looking for a good meal in Verona, the chefs here are doing their jobs well. Unfortunately, the service side of the business feels disconnected. To start, you are required to order everything via an iPad. In a city as beautiful and traditional as Verona, this completely strips away the authentic, warm experience you expect from an Italian meal. It felt impersonal and cold. To make matters worse, the human interaction we did have was unpleasant. Our waitress was quite rude, making us feel more like an inconvenience than guests. The best way to describe this place is "Italian Fast Food" in terms of the tech-heavy, rushed service style yet it is priced like a traditional Osteria. When you pay Osteria prices, you expect a certain level of hospitality and charm, neither of which were present here.

This was a rather messy and awkward visit to a restaurant. First off, the interior is what you'd expect of a small italian restaurant, cozy, rustical and wine references everywhere, not overwhelmingly though. When ordering you get a short introduction through the service and then are left to your own (tablet) devices. It's convenient when you don't speak italian but the descriptions and pictures of the menu items where not very enticing. A service was always nearby though. The pasta we had was magnificent, no doubt, seasoned just perfectly. The bruscetta with tomatoes were a mess. The tomatoes were only cut in half each, hence them just sliding off when trying to eat it. I also missed a bit of the garlic that is supposed to be flavored in. The tiramisu was served in a glass. It wasn't bad but also not necessarily good, I mostly tasted the sugar. All in all not a desaster but a bit of a disappointment in the execution of some of the dishes.

I would give 7/5 for ambiente, decorations were amazing. Great staff, great food. Traditions (food) combined with modern concepts (order and pay with tablets). All over an amazing experience.

While in Verona we passed this restaurant a couple of times and decided to stop in for wine and dessert. It was a great decision. Great service, delicious cheesecake and vino! The ambiance was fun with Halloween decorations and an Italian wine cellar. I highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely return.

Food was amazing and the restaurant is adorable! The waitstaff were incredibly rude. I walked in around 5pm and was turned away, told they were full unless I had a reservation. I was able to make a reservation for tonight at 5:30 on their website, so walked back in then. They tried to turn me away again, argued with each other in a very rude tone until they very begrudgingly gave me a table. The restaurant was also completely empty at this time. Lighten up guys :)

Came after a business meeting and asked for a table for one. The hostess judged me and tried to seat me uncomfortably close to a couple. She said there was AC upstairs, but it wasn’t working. The ceiling was so low I hit my head badly — they eventually brought me ice, but only after a long time. They charge for cover, bread, and warm tap water, but never brought ice for the water. Food was overpriced and nothing special, and service was poor. For the same price, you can get better food and service elsewhere, plus a view of the arena. Don’t waste your time

Yelp
I liked but the pasta wasn't well cooked, I told them 2 times and still not well. Staff is nice, but they just forget that u are there. Could be a much better place.

Yelp
The food was great and even please my Italian Grandmother! The ambiance was cozy and felt like a friend's wine cellar. Also loved the iPad ordering as it was a smaller place and the servers came by occasionally to bring food and it didn't feel crowded. Definitely make a reservation!

Yelp
Best meal we had in Veneto area (Venice, Verona, Padua). The pasta dishes were phenomenal (mushroom with cream and sausage with tomatoes) as was the pork filet with mushrooms. The Valpolicello house red was so tasty. Will be back next time we are in Verona

Yelp
Please don't waste your time here. You order on iPads, meaning the service is nonexistent and impersonal. Zero charm and mediocre food. Super disappointed.

Yelp
Food was incredible. If you get the "Triumph of Bigoli Pasta served with seafood" they will literally give you every type with quality pasta underneath. Try to get there earlier in the evening or make reservations, because you will have to wait at least 20 minutes. Do not try to use Spanish words, especially with the older waiter, who speaks English well. Otherwise he will pretentiously answer tell you not to confuse Spanish and Italian languages.
