Really nice concept store with loads of Italian goodies you can also buy to take home. Just a heads-up — they don’t serve alcohol by the glass, only bottled options. We had the Vegetariana pizza, which came out super quickly. The dough was fresh and really tasty. The only downside was that some of the veggies seemed to be canned instead of fresh, which was a bit disappointing.

The pizzas were delicious! The dough is really something special and the sauce is amazing. Tiramisu was nice, homemade. Didn't really like the design of the seating areas. The place itself is lovely and you can see your pizza being made which is also extra nice.

Great find. Slightly of the beaten track, I'm really glad we found this pizzaria. Ordering was easy, the staff were friendly and the pizza was fast, thin, tasty, generous ingredients, good value. Seating is limited but the atmosphere is cosy. Toilet facilities were clean and tidy. Thanks I'll Sogno!

Their pistachio gelato was great and not too sweet. The portion size and price for one cup/scoop is very worth it. It is a good spot for a quick dessert under €2

Established in 2012, Il Sogno (meaning “The Dream” in Italian) has transformed Koningsstraat from a quiet street into a lively spot, becoming a meeting point for lovers of Italian cuisine. Today, I had the pleasure of enjoying an excellent pizza at Il Sogno. I would like to especially thank the cashier for her kindness, as well as the two talented chefs, one Italian and the other Moldovan, who prepared an outstanding pizza. Il Sogno enhances their pizzas with special spicy oils and a unique “Spicy Dust” seasoning. Be sure to ask for this magical condiment when you visit. This was the best. As an Italian I tried many places in Amsterdam, while I was there with my family and this one was BY FAR the best. Perfect location, good atmosphere; you can even see the chef preparing the pizzas in the wooden oven. Prices are modest and the pizzas are close to perfection for a place like Amsterdam, separated by hundreds of kilometers from the birth place of the pizza. If you want pizza in Amsterdam, this is the place.

Fantastic gem, in a wonderful location, with lots of character. Seating was quirky too, and loved the decor. The whole team were amazing, I think we were served by the owner. Very authentic pizza, perfect crust, and excellent tiramisu + cannoli. Thank you!

Great find for pizza lovers: thin, flavorful and one of the best I've had (Toscana). The homemade tiramisu is a hit too. Cozy place with friendly staff. Worth a visit for authentic Italian.
